    Everyone resists disruption of their status hierarchy. It’s our most unconsciously valued possession. That said, some of us actively seek to disrupt that status hierarchy and climb it (westerners) and some do nothing but reinforce verticality(chinese) and some the bottom(Islam).

    1) Markets allow competing groups to collaborate on means, even if they pursue opposing ends. Classical Houses of classes create a market. Democracy creates a monopoly by eliminating the market for commons between the classes, and forcing conflict into the informational commons.

    Replying to @JonHaidt

    DEMOCRACY = MONOPOLY

    1) Markets allow competing groups to collaborate on means, even if they pursue opposing ends. Classical Houses of classes create a market. Democracy creates a monopoly by eliminating the market for commons between the classes, and forcing conflict into the informational commons.

    COSMOPOLITANISM = POLITICAL COMMUNISM

    2) Cosmopolitanism(political communism) has failed everywhere its tried, just as has economic communism(socialism), and commons communism (libertarianism).Yet people pursue heterogeneous polities despite only homogenous polities exiting poverty, corruption, low trust, and tribalism.

    SOCIAL MEDIA IS AS ACCURATE AS PILLOW TALK

    3) BTW: As far as I know, (a) we over-report compromise, and over-demonstrate on conflict. (b) we self-report more honestly online than in person. (c) We most accurately self-report in conflict (from a position of physical safety.) IOW: social media = “political pillow talk”.

    No, the west is very unique. You cannot say that the underclasses in the warm climates did so. Just the opposite. Which is why the demographics are what they are. READ SOMETHING. IT’S GOOD FOR YOU. Even overconfident Dunning Kruger simpletons can learn by reading.(Theoretically)

  • The Problem In Ukraine? The Oligarchs.

    THE PROBLEM IN UKRAINE IS AN ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM. 1 – The Oligarchs (Gangsters or Boyars) control the economy, and are well armed. 2 – Putin-Oligarchs-Yanukovych’s intentional destruction of the Ukrainian military in preparation for Russian takeover, was sufficiently successful that the Military could not be used to defeat the Gangsters. Russian and China have strong military discipline. This is why they can impose change. Ukrainian military culture was destroyed to insulate the Oligarchs. 3 – Integration with Russia or the EU means ending Oligarchical Rule. The oligarchs will not let either happen. Attempts to convince them that they will be even wealthier under a better economy have failed – they saw what Putin did to their ‘peers’ in Russia. They know that will be their future. 4 – The oligarchs and the government (and other governments) all understand that trying to kill the oligarchs will lead to civil war for the simple reason that the oligarchs have the money ad organizations in place to fight the government and the people. 5 – There is only one way to save ukraine, and that is for the people to kill all members of all 40 oligarchical families very quickly. 6 – Only the Military and the Volunteers, with the help of NATO assets can achieve that end. THE ANSWER IS NOT THE GOVERNMENT, BUT THE OLIGARCHS. THE PEOPLE MUST KILL THEM ALL.

    1 – CLASS: Let’s say you have a population distribution with a median of what we consider 100 (european average). Now either remove people below 100, or cut one child from the lower half and increase one child of the upper half. Curve shifts right despite regression to mean.

    2 – The other (and I’ve asked Lynn about this) we were probably at parity 150 years ago, but have reversed it through reversal of class reproduction. Once you look at the math, very small differences in reproductive rates produce enormous consequences – and quickly.

    1 – Cranial size, homogeneity, duration of homogeneity, brutal agrarianism, upward reproductive redistribution. Strange that it’s (model) the opposite of ashkenazi(verbal) but I assume that’s going to show up as differences in (gender) dimorphism – that’s sure what it looks like.
