JESUS?
Jesus was an itinerant preacher despondent over the conquest of his people, and their ready willingness to conspire against their own – who tried to rally people by advocating the extension of kinship love to non kin, as a means of resisting the empire. He was the first ‘Ghandi’.
He was wise and insightful, but he had only silly language of middle eastern superstition to work with despite the fact that in his era reason and science were widely practiced. So as a poor, ignorant, intinerant, superstitious man, he spoke to poor, ignorant, illiterate, superstitious men, in the only language he was able to use.
This technique would not work against anyone other than europeans. Aristocratic Europeans who have more sensitive moral intuitions. But against europeans it is profoundly successful.
That is all that there is to be said.

WE DIDN’T EVOLVE THE NEED FOR RELIGION, WE HAVEN’T EVOLVED BEYOND IT. THE QUESTION IS, WHAT IS THE MODERN VERSION OF THAT WHICH WE ACHIEVED THROUGH RELIGION?

The other way around. We evolved from animals that hunted by running in packs. individuals surrender to the pack. We receive endorphins for doing so and lighten the burden of cognition through distribution. We retain that. We feel ’empty’ or ‘lost’ without that. Yet the division of knowledge labor and advocacy forces us into increasingly isolated roles where we are increasingly dependent upon reason.
All social festivals, feasts, myths, and rituals assist us in preserving that experience across large numbers of us.

As far as I know, the order is:
Islam / black plague / the mongols / world communism / the chinese empire’s colonization and rule / western colonialism of the americas / democracy (democratic secular socialist humanism) in all its forms / christianity in its forms.
The problem with these deaths is that both the mongols (black death), and western colonialism (a host of diseases), caused vast deaths, and were heinous, but (a) the diseases were worse than the warriors, (b) colonialism was progressive, the mongols regressive, and islam regressive and destructive, and communism regressive and destructive.
So comparing violence, diseases, institutions, and capital, and we end up with a full accounting.
A population can recover from War. It can recover from Plague. It can recover from the Mongols. But it cannot recover from islam.

Christianity takes credit but it is rarely if ever a cause. The church used a monopoly on literacy, and enforced superstition, to assist in administration of impoverished people after the collapse, after the romans had destroyed celtic civilization.
The Jews did nothing despite being the most literate people in europe. The church imprisoned people in ignorance by preserving a monopoly on literacy. The church like the jews allied with the state to suppress the people.
It was literacy – the breaking of the church monopoly on literacy – the empiricism of the common and roman law – and the restoration of greek knowledge that led the west out of ignorance imposed by the east upon the west.
Because literacy restored sovereignty to the mind, to western man, to his polity, and his achievements.

Christianity was a weapon which justified aryanism. The world wars ended our comfort with aryanism. we need restore aryanism. Christianity on the other hand is a good cult-of-the-feminine.
