I am not reliant on FB/Google. I take advantage of them. There are other outlets. But the quality of discourse degrades quickly into venting. FB policy suits argumentation, which is what i teach. Even if it suppresses emotional expression.

The “Cloud” trend will disappear after the first insurrection. The value of the cloud was in eliminating the internal tech force, and sharing infrastructure costs at the expense of dependence upon telcos and control over application and data.

Searle’s problem is that he created the chinese room to talk about symbols but not about measurements (senses). So he is correct in computation and computers, but incorrect if a computer simulates the brain using sensors. The problem is our computers today can’t really do that.

3) Same for machine learning. Search(discover opportunity), Predict, Reinforce what survives, and Prune(die off). Nature can’t predict. It uses numbers. Advanced life can’t predict. It Mates. Sentients can predict. Pruning neurons is cheaper. Same for ML/AI. Econ in everything.

2) I have the tech. I’ve spent ~1.3M on development. The code is in alpha state, but the platform is a generational leap. We plan on directing my time back to it this fall. Because demand is finally high enough to drive investor interest.

I think A lot of my intellectual framing was caused by reading history, military, and science, then AI then Economics, and then working backward through intellectual history, instead of forward through it. So the ‘frame’ I work from is present.
