Intuiting, remembering, re-experiencing, and re-living describe a spectrum of recall that – as far as I know – is partly difference in physical brain gender, and partly in brain development. Like the autism spectrum it might be an adaptation or specialization, not a limitation.

Question: Does his task behavior differ from yours? Do his memories differ from yours? Does he daydream much? Opinions of world events? The degree of immersion in imagination might be all that varies, not the memories themselves.

@RuudZwolle @DegenRolf I’m covering this briefly in my upcoming book as I have had PTSD and my husband (aphantasic) didn’t get why it was such a ‘thing’, because for him it isn’t. If it isn’t happening now, there is no emotion attached to it. Very interesting stuff.
