IMO, and I realize that this is an area of your specialty, I don’t work in ideals but in necessities, and the failure to solve the problem of heterogeneous underclasses (vs india and china) was a substantive one. He looks to me to be solving that problem regardless of the church.

The west developed heroic, entrepreneurial, technological, war, law, polity, and economy at the cost of natural selection paid by the unfit.
Their expanding economy demanded labor (slaves, women, peasants).

So my argument is that Jesus discovered the cheapest possible solution to solving the problem of being subject to the (European-discovered) laws of the universe, including natural selection which has ‘selected them for removal’ – by the process of extending kinship love.
The consequence of rapid evolution (european aryans) exposing natural selection (underclasses, especially among south eurasians, ~80’s), generated demand for tragedy among heterogeneous people just as it did for the Greeks (the tragedy) among homogeneous people.

I don’t have a problem with other races as long as they are middle class. It’s always been a class issue. It’s the tippy top and underclasses vs the middle. And the closer to the very middle you are, the better, as far as I am concerned. The middle class are the true elites. This is what Donald Trump meant when he’d tell his audience, you’re the elites.
And remember, class is not just income based. It’s normative and behavioral as well. You can have a middle class income, but be a complete Neanderthal in all other aspects.

You have the most egalitarian societies that have ever existed; and it’s exactly what’s harming the polity. Speciating, specializing(then re-generalizing) and creating valued added trade-offs, compatible behavior sets, and cooperation is superior in every way to equal opportunity for unequal participants.
Your fight for equality anywhere but under the law is fruitless, harmful, backward, ill-thought out, and dysgenic.
