    ( I can’t afford to “woo” women without getting myself in trouble one way or another. So I am just complimentary with all of them – as my mother taught me to be. And following her advice, “Find something nice to say” is pretty much good advice all the way around. It’s just absolutely necessary for women and merely helpful for men. 😉 )

This is the way of the world: “War, uncivilization, chaos are the defaults – peace and civilization are the anomalies. All civil human interactions draw from a complex set of proxies for violence.” – Bill Joslin Truth and what is true isn’t created in words (but discovered and explained); as words must be chosen carefully to have any grounding at all. Truth is reality en toto (words can barely do it justice). This is why God (reality) is the flaming sword bearer. This is why having untrue aim is to sin; for an arrow to fly true it adheres to Truth. All your proxies for the truth have blinded you to it; have protected you from it; have given you a false sense of its absence; and truth will be your rude awaking, as you’ve been ignoring its soft cries and recent screams. Please understand, until recently your proxies have sufficed. The idea to minimize violence through civilized means is a kind one; we believe in extending kinship. But, the unfit proxies haven’t replaced violence as of late; they have merely postponed it. We don’t settle issues anymore; we push them off and allow them to stew. Instead of keeping the pot cool you’ve been heating the water slowly in hopes of boiling you some frogs; they’ve noticed and are now escaping the pot. Look, we can (still, but not for long) avoid the conflicts to come; we, as humans, have a unique ability of willing ourselves into proper action (agency). We can change our behavior sets based on ideas; we can bully ourselves into new behavioral patterns; we can be our own animal trainers (domesticators). “The difference is, that because I look for negative externalities, frauds, thefts, exchanges, positive transfers, and positive externalities I CALCULATE that an action is immoral, amoral, or moral, and you INTUIT it. I have the AGENCY to consider all possibilities and choose the moral, amoral, or the immoral as required. This is the lesson of sun tzu, machiavelli, and aristotle – as well as every other general: morals are not truths but utilities, not knowledge but habits. The great books of wisdom and strategy are written so that we do not make the mistakes of christians and allow ourselves to be conquered, for having forgotten how to fight. They are written to ensure that we are civilized by reason not by habit.. I have agency. I am not an animal. My intuitions provide information only. My reason rules my decisions. Moral, amoral, immoral, as needed.” – Curt Doolittle The arbiters of truths are always unpleasant; the truth is undesirable. That is until the Truth comes as violence and becomes undeniable. Human beings have it in them to fend off the harsh Truths of nature; even of human nature; but the humans show no signs that they will allow their lies to abate; they egg the truth on woefully unprepared for the horrors it has in-store for those who’ve denied it so long. Can we wise up in time? I pray we can; but I promise prayers alone aren’t enough.

    CHRISTIAN TOLERANCE AS FREE RIDING – FAILING TO PAY FOR THE COMMONS —“In my estimation, most of what passes for Christian ‘turning the other cheek’ in our time is just cowardice and or weakness and decadence. Its the indecision that people like Joslin have recently written about… the inability to act.     Studying legal papers and theory you quickly learn that law is ignorant of economics and scale. You learn that the problems lawyers and the courts face are problems of economics and scale. You learn that they are trying to solve a social science problem with a crude instrument that changes slowly. Jurist and Lawyers have seen the atomic but not the aggregate. and so it creates a kind of disciplinary blindness. The problem with the profession is that while we have common and continental law, we have lost or only just discovered natural tort law, which solves problems of juridical decision making, where conflating the law with legislation and regulation and to some degree command, create all those problems of interpretation.

Let me help you. Postmodern social construction is a fashion statement. Generative Anthropology is an updated fashion statement. Both describe the same phenomenon: if we tell enough lies, people may in fact behave according to those lies. And while this may produce some sort of political advantage for that category of people who can do nothing but resort to lying (priest, intellectual, media, politician, salesman) because they possess no value in production or trade (truth), or violence or law (truth). So no, nothing novel there. Just another attempt at handwaving. These clowns took a few keywords from Chomsky, who took his idea from Turing, and restated Social Construction. And social construction is just a secular attempt to undermine western civilization by producing a canon of lies, the way abrahamic theologians succeeded in destroying western civilization with a canon of lies. More of the same. the weak lie, the able trade, the strong rule. The liars have three techniques: Supernatural, Sophism, and Pseudoscience: the vernacular of the weak, unable, and immoral.

    (the demand for national mythos) Um. when the atheists attack mythology – abrahamic or otherwise – they do not specify the means of graceful failure of decidability that mythos provide. That’s why one needs a founding mythos. Because there must exists some means of decision making in the absence of knowledge. Hence why I argue for Self Authoring in the Virtues, and for the western historical ‘mythology’ of transcendence (progress into godhood). But what do we teach as decidability? One needs an aspiration or it is impossible to construct a complete set of decidability. (really. It is. Sorry). However, with that aspiration, the law is enough. The law brings us transcendence into gods, and into mystery of the universe. The law is enough because it will produce transcendence. transcendence likewise will produce the law. So whether bottom up or top down we produce the combination of the law, ascendence, transcendence. The Natural Law. The White Law. Reciprocity, and a canon of precompiled arguments for nearly every category of human decision making.
