    Boost of @curtd@g1ld0 The only psychological issue I have is an exaggerated intolerance for emoting, ignorance, and stupidity, especially culminating in man-boy right wing conspiracy theory. And yes, I understand that cognitive masculinity in the absence of iQ causes an increasing scale from disagreableness, to anti-sociality, to psychopathy. And that we can detect one’s personality traits on that spectrum, and one’s IQ on that specrum from one’s speech, and particularly one’s arguments.

    So yes I know that you’re the right wing conspiracy viersion of the left wing oppression version – and that you’re equally mentally unfit for public discourse. I now this because I unfortunately spent a long time researching right wing dysfunctional behavior – despite the depressing conclusions it led to.

    There has never been a majority in any region that prefers joining russia. Ever. There has been a significant minority in some eastern areas that prefers alighnment with russia over ukraine for economic reasons – because russians in eastern urkaine were moved there by the soviets like blacks were moved to norhtern cities, and for the same reason. However that significant minority vaporized in 2014, though it was offset by the flight of population out of luhansk and donestk, and the subsequent depopulation that occurred during this phase of the artillery war. Most recent surveys from August are still that over eighty percent of people prefer remaining part of. ukraine.

    Now I know you’re just an ignorant twit, but you might consider some of these concepts and attempt to mature into a fully rational adult human capable of political responsibility that the irght so desperately needs.

    Not that there is much hope. But it’s worth trying.

    @AndrewAnglin@ramzpaul@PutinOnTheRitz@kingofallnads@Afterrthought

    FWIW: IMO if RU had offered to buy donesk+luhansk from UA for a discount on gas in 2014, the UA would have taken the deal, because we (as a Ukrainian at the time myself) wanted to get rid of the eastern provinces because they were the source of organized crime and source of the communist movement in Ukraine.

    Before 2014, RU banks all but owned everything in UA because of the instability of the UA currency. RU had paid Yanukovych to gut the UA military, and between RU and the UA oligarchs, the judiciary and politicians were bought and paid for. UA citizenry spoke/speaks both Ukrainian and Russian (and the mixture or creole we call surzhyk (soor’-zh’ick) (what I speak).

    If Putin had called Merkel, Cameron, and Obama (or at least Chuck Hagel) in 2014 and said “look, we don’t want to have to go to war over this, but our black sea fleet is based in Crimea and we can’t lose that to nato. We want to guarantee another 100-year lease on the island, in exchange for a 5% discount on gas to Ukraine that isn’t forwarded to Europe (for domestic consumption). ” Then he would have held the world moral high-ground, and assisted in the ongoing suicide of nato and western culture. He was, until 2014, the most highly regarded politician in the world, including time magazine man of the year.

    He would have done that if he listened to Israel (who are masters of this shit). Instead he did the dumbest thing possible which was to violate the central premise of the postwar consensus: states do not violate borders, and engage in free trade, and we’ll all get richer. The USA paid for that order by burning our middle and working classes on the pyre of free trade and globalism.

    Instead, RU tried to seize territory with the lie of little green men.
    Fucking stupidest but most ‘Russian’ move of the past fifty years.

    We have learned that both the Russian government and the Russian military is a Potemkin Village: a stage show. Kabuki theatre to keep the masses domesticated while the siloviki rape the country for every ruble possible.

    “You never know whether you were a good or bad man until you are dead”

    The reason is simple: one serious fuck up and you destroy your legacy.

    Putin made one serious fuck up.

    @Afterrthought@occdissent@ramzpaul@AndrewAnglin@PutinOnTheRitz

    I admire brother Elon on many fronts, but his geostrategic understanding is not one of them. The UA people are not going to give up, only because of the war crimes, and RU use of destruction of infrsastructure, civilian murder, and attempted genocide. I can see rolling back to pre=2014 borders, repatriating russians from those areas to russia (which needs the population), and the ‘extreme’ solution of restoring russia’s right to lease crimea for it’s black sea fleet. But all the aggressions have to stop. Likewise, EU and NATO are a given for UA. IMO this is an opportunity to fix the error we made in the 90’s by not pulling out all the stops to integrate russia into nato if not the eu, by a mutual security pact. RU economy cannot defend it’s territories It can’t even provide infrastructure for them. Truth: the soviet economy was eastern european and ukrainian and it finance soviet growth.

    @Afterrthought@ramzpaul@AndrewAnglin

    I’m not capable of predicting whether the war will be won and by whome per se, because on the one hand I don’t know what that means, and on the other some permutations result in everyone losing and nobody winning.

    That said, as I said from the start, if data was accurate russia should have been able to take the whole country. But because putin is a dictator, and like all dictators, insulated from the truth, and like all dictators insulated from the truth, he was insulated from the vast scope of corruption, and true condition of the russian military and economy – he placed a bet only to realize he had no chips.

    I have one primary theory of how this will play out, and I do see putin using a nuke to satisfy his hard liners, and then using the results of doing so to be the adult in the room, and save his country from annihilation. The question is wehther the west is smart enough to give him an off ramp.

    Reality is russia has only 6m fighting age men, and is basically depopulating minority and rural districts so that St Pete and Moscow don’t revolt. RU has no money. It has no industrial capacity. It has no technical capacity. It CAN use nukes, but it would mean the end of RU and the breakup of the territory leaving RU proper with just west of the urals.

    Europeans need RU to survive resources and population limits. RU needs european economies and tech and finance to hold it’s eleven time zones.

    USA UK AUS are naval powers that build alliances on trade. But we can’t finance europe any longer. They have to pay their own way, and pay for their own resources.,

    We need a strong europe united between latin, germanic, baltic, and slavic peoples to resist the hordes of the future.

    For conservatives we need RU to help us kill off Woke (the left).
    For russians they need us to kill of corruption and restore rule of law.
    No more wars between christians.
    This has to stop.

    I’m a russophile. I was a putin supporter. This was just fucking STUPID.

    I can forgive putin because as a cancer sufferer myself, I understand how legacy becomes important as you face death. I undrestand him.

    While Ilove them deeply, what I can’t forgive is the war crimes and brutality of the russian people, and their irresponsibility for the actions of their government.

    Yes, woke liberalism is a fucking cancer.
    Neither russian or chinese authoritarianism provide a solution.
    Truth is rather ‘natural law facism’ (a sarcastic label) does.
    It’s easy for us to get there.

    Russian Kherson front as expected is collapsing as of today.
    Too early to know who’s gonna win in the end, but russia keeps losing along the way. And while the world will forgive russian’s for putin’s war, the world will not forgive russians for war crimes. That’s going to hang over russians forever.

    Russia has an economy the size of texas. It’s tiny.
    Russia’s economy is entirely dependent upon resources – the resource curse.
    Russia has a total capacity of only 6.8M fighting men.
    Russian precise munitions are exhausted.
    Russian direct munitions are depleted.
    Russian medical supplies are exhausted.
    Russian armor must be refitted after lack of maintenance.
    Russian men require 3 months of training.
    Russian production cannot manufacture replacement tech and equpiment.
    If RU is willing to spend ten years throwing bodies at it, AND Putin isn’t killed it’s possible that they can wear down or overwhelm ukraine.
    But the longer they fight the weaker they get and the stronger the west gets.
