REMOVE THEM FROM THE POLITICAL COMMONS FOR THEIR SAFETY AND OURS.
—“The problem with the current structure of government is that there is a buffer between choice/action and consequence. When there is no buffer between choice/action and consequence reality/nature is the best teacher, experience the best path to wisdom. Only clinically insane and deeply mentally challenged people wantonly put their hand in the fire a third time… Those are the people you need to remove from the commons for their own safety and ours.”—Anne Summers
NATIONALIZING VISA AND MASTERCARD WILL BE A NECESSITY
We are going to nationalize visa/mc with a controlling govt interest rather than regulating it.
Why? With the end of consumer interest, the businesses will collapse, and the organization survive entirely on transaction fees.
This organization is necessary for the distribution of liquidity, the transfer of payments, and the purchasing of goods, services and information.
When this occurs, it will no longer be possible for the card companies to intervene in the process of political speech.
Consumer Banking as we know it will largely collapse, and the services will be picked up by grocery stores and drug stores.
Private companies will also no longer be able to play credit games with consumers nor issue their own credit, because it will be uncollectible (unenforcible) debt if they do.
This will cause a shit-storm.
There is nothing in consumer credit that is not purely actuarial (computational). Nothing.
There is very little need for enforcement when liquidity is distribute to consumers instead of through the financial system, and consumer debt is paid down from that distribution.
The regularity that this will add to the commercial cycle as we can adapt to shocks almost instantaneously will be as historic an improvement as was use of shares in the economy as a money substitute.

PROPERTY IN TOTO, RECIPROCITY, AND THE NECESSITY OF VIOLENCE
by Lucas Cort
(via brandon hayes) (curtd: this is flawless)
Property in toto (demonstrated property) provides a measurement of what humans value. Demonstration of value occurs in human action, when individuals or groups show a willingness and ability to defend said value. The use of violence ensures retention of property and acts as a deterrent against future violations. People can choose the strategies of cooperation, predation, parasitism, or non cooperation. Cooperation with strict adherence to reciprocity being the optimal strategy for long term productive interactions.
Reciprocity entails non imposition of costs against others property in toto, through productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary transfers. Violations of reciprocity lead to conflict due to asymmetrical imposition of costs. Predation being short term and parasitism being a medium term strategy.
Retaliation cycles ensue violations, revealing the need for third party assessment and resolution, including enforcement between parties. This gives rise to the discovery and evolution of Law, an insurer of last resort (polity/government), and the militia. These institutions and discoveries are created and upheld through the use of violence, creating disincentives for violations of reciprocity. Through this incremental domestication of man we maintain group cooperation and reap the surpluses that ensue. Resulting in the rapid evolution and competitive edge of the society at large.

Instead, a host of intellectuals during the late 19th through mid 20th tried and failed. But since that time we’ve had computer science (existential) instead of mathematics (ideal), and cognitive science (existential) instead of psychology (pseudoscience), and economics (real) instead of sociology (pseudoscience). There are lots of shoulders of giants to stand upon in the late 20th and early 21st when I’m working.
It’s possible to create strictly constructed law on one hand that is testable by computer software, and a chain of dependency that is testable by computer, and to provide the law, prosecutors, lawyers, judges, and the jury with a set of tests for truthful speech – which cannot be performed by computer.
Law of tort is quite good really. Legislation and regulation are reasonably good in the anglo (common law) tradition. We just need these tools, universal standing in matters of the commons, thereby ending disintermediation by the state, and providing a via negativa means of competition (court) in addition to the via-positiva means of competition (markets).
Now, increase the definition and scope of property (see property-in-toto) to the full suite of things that people act to invest in producing whether by expenditure of forgone opportunity, or expenditure of time, effort, or resources, (including manners, ethics, morals, norms, commons, capital et all) and it is very hard for special interests (and usurpers) to survive. And even more so, nearly impossible to seek rents (more on that another time.)
Eradicate false and ir-reciprocal commercial, financial, economic, political, and informational speech in the commons. Restore libel and slander. Prohibit baiting into moral hazard in the law. Replace copyright with creative commons. Eliminate consumer interest (yes, really, and it’s not hard). Privatize (contract out) all bureaucratic functions. Replace private pensions with public (they aren’t possible anyway in current and future economies)…. Much more but all of it is rather ordinary.Jan 19, 2019, 9:01 AMNow it’s ready. 😉
