    I am sure that makes some sort of sense to you but I can’t translate it into truthful speech.

    So lets operationalize it and see what happens:

The reason is that for some reason, some percentage of the population seeks the psychological comfort of some paradigm over the more parsimonious (truthful) paradigm.”

    Well, you just described the reason for choosing not to learn because of the addiction to faith, or not learning because of addiction to some other means of preserving psychological self image or social status or pretense of sexual, social, economic, political, military market value, that is counter to competitive reality. When under all but physically developmental illnesses, cognitive behavioral therapy under care can correct every known one of them.

    I also agree that this is the definition of mental illness.

    DEFINITION OF FALSIFICATION

    No amount of justification or confirmation provides us with satisfaction of demand for infallibility given the question at hand. Only due diligence by attempted falsification of identity, internal consistency, operational possibility, rational choice, reciprocity, external correspondence, completeness, full accounting, parsimony, and coherence.

    JURIDICAL FALSIFICATION

    The jury and judge do not find a matter of truth or falsehood, but sufficient falsification of alternatives to render a judgement of under reasonable doubt.

    REGARDING ‘PROOF’

    In law, “Proof” does not exist because existential reality is not constructed axiomatically and not closed – so we only use the term by analogy. Instead, we are providing a theory (argument) and evidence (external correspondence) that alternative explanations (theories) are unreasonable (fail to satisfy the demand for consistency, possibility, rationality, correspondence, full accounting, and parsimony.

    This confusion is possible because of the inarticulate vocabulary of legal jargon that is non-operational, and not constructed from the tests of demonstrated interest, or court insured property constructed by demonstrated interest, or reciprocity, or argued under testimonial truth. This is what P-law provides: disambiguation and operationalization, and therefore scientifically stated, internally consistent, law (rules of jurisprudence).

    RESULTS OF FALSIFICATION

    Restating your claim in scientific prose: It is possible to test a theory by putting a question before the judiciary and determining whether or not they falsify it. All that it tells us is that it survived falsification or not. Nothing else.

    WHAT ABOUT PROCEDURE?

    Legal and administrative procedure have nothing to do with truth or falsehood, but with regulation. Whether those regulations affect truth, falsehood, or reciprocity, irreciprocity is a matter of convenience (cost) for the court and nothing to do with truth and reciprocity.

    CAUSAL RELATIONS

    The Natural Law of Reciprocity > A constitution for operational under it > a judiciary for adjudicating differences under it > Procedures (regulations) demanded by the court (often arbitrary, often pragmatic, but not always) < regulations (enforcement of, proceduralization of, legislation and command) < Legislation (contract or command) < Command.

    Teaching is a talent, with a tiny bit of craftsmanship. You can’t teach a talent. You’ve got the talent or you don’t. Too many don’t.

    Teaching consists almost entirely of the Grammars (means of comparing, reasoning, calculating with different smantics (terms) and operators (operations) in complete sentences (transactions),) and history (evidence, data).

    Answering synthetic questions when a teaching requires life experience, and knowledge of multiple grammars, and human history. Ergo, the only people suitable for answering questions are grandparents.

    The only defense against undermining intergenerational transfer of debt obligations (culture) is teachers who are grandparents.

    I wouldn’t let anyone teach anything above fourth grade that hadn’t had life experience in productive endeavors (no govt, ppl for ex.). Too much stupid out there. Too much ignorant out there. Too much GSRRM out there.

    THere is no reason we don’t teach mindfulness, ethics, the law, accounting, and micro economics, and social economy, history, and geogrpahy other than to undermine our civilizatoin by producing ignorant post-religoius

    • They don’t preach or advertise, they share their experience, strength, and hope to people that express interest in getting help—but the person has to want to change.

    • They offer sponsorship for someone to work their own program. But they don’t push it. You must go up to someone and ask for their support.

    • It’s not reciprocity between two people per se—it’s more like pay-it-forward. My sponsor doesn’t get much from me, but he figures I’ll offer my unique perspective and possible sponsorship to someone that approaches me to help them.

    The primary lessons are:

    (a) as usual, only one structural member failed, leading to the cascade, and the structural failure was due to accumulation of heat over many hours. The external damage had no effect on the collapse. It was just the fire.

    (b) engineering standards and calculations for steel structures were too loose given the possible duration of fires.

    (c) ordinary office combustibles provide long term sources of heat at slow burn necessary to accumulate heat in structural members.

    (d) if the sprinklers had been active it’s unlikely the combustibles would have been able to produce accumulated heat, and therefore sprinklers must not be dependent upon external sources of pressure and power in the event of a catastrophe. ie: external infrastructure is a weak link not a discount, and structures must meet closer to greek standards (10x max expected load) than the max load calculations at present, and harmonics make the matter far worse. Make buildings more expensive and there will be fewer of them, and better. Require resident ownership in urban centers and end rental income. Expand underground transport, police the cars aggressively, and if necessary create class -based cars requiring escalating positive behavior.

    (PS: Why do you think I know that a civil war punishing urban areas is so easy to win? Anyone overloading emergency services in any urban area will succeed. Multiple urban areas cannot provide mutual support under adverse conditions.     The brain functions by a market for attention. Differences in brain structure especially between genders, provide increases or decreases in attention achievable by different regions, with urgent attention provided by fears, and long term attention provided by incentives. Attention is easier for men because we compartmentalize our brains with less interaction, and harder for women because their brains are more integrated. Worse, the ability to suppress impulse from the frontal region and back to the hippocampal region and own to the thalamus varies by individual regardless of gender. Worse, men are more dominant and less agreeable by a bit, and as such are more likely to express physical urgencies, where women verbal urgencies.
