    DON’T CONFUSE CHEATING ON YOUR TAXES WITH TOLERANCE AND LOVE.

    It is irrelevant what you think of other cultures, and the people in them – unless they ignore you, it is only relevant what they think of you. Thinking is no counter to competition. It is merely self-congratulatory discounting to confuse conviction with convenience, and tolerance with letting the boat sink because bailing is someone else’s job.

    Tolerance and submission are no more intrinsic goods than violence and domination. The question is only whether one is suppressing parasitism and forcing each other into the market, or one is permitting parasitism and allowing others to escape the transformationary struggle to enter the market.

    So before you congratulate yourself on your tolerance and morality you must determine if you are expanding parasitism or suppressing it.

    Why is imposing transaction costs on others not imposing any other cost upon them? Sure, of the various costs you can impose upon them: violence, theft, fraud, privatization, socialization conspiracy – like moral violations, they are indirect costs. But then that’s what we use the term morality to refer to: indirect costs. So then why is imposing indirect costs upon others different from any other immoral violation?

    Well it isn’t.

    Separatism imposes transaction costs.

    The point is that marriage is destructive to men as it is currently constructed and enforced by the state – resulting in suicide and poverty for older males at increasing rates.

    So the reason I say something inflammatory is to draw attention to this fact, and demonstrate that the contract is unequal, and as such should be eliminated. In other words, I think we must end common property for all property worth fighting over.

    And I operate under the assumption, demonstrated by evidence, that marriages are temporary exchanges of powers of attorney, but never of property. That children belong to their mothers and never to their fathers, unless the court deems mothers dangerous to the child (in which case it’s rare the father is any better.(

    So if we are no longer to be married for life then we are not longer able to rationally possess common property – and upon failure or bankruptcy of the partnership (not corporation) that we call “the family”, all partners depart with their proportional contributions.

    In practice this means that title to any item must be provided, and no unstated title may remain unprovided for.

    Now, I should note that I can see a post-familial society but I must work on that a bit before I’m confident that it isn’t comparatively uncompetitive. Because as far as I can tell, high time parenting isn’t replaceable.

    It is absolutely impossible to explain to the rest of the world (particularly Ukrainians) how much better the average american is at business – as a universal general rule – than the minority of those people almost everywhere else.

    Sure, context matters, but there is playing context and there is market function. And the more I travel, the more I understand that it’s not just our risk tolerance alone that makes us different – it’s immersion in a culture of entrepreneurship, wherein social activity itself is always conducted under the premise of selling.

    We are ignorant and untalented on many levels. But the art of voluntary organization of production in the service of consumers is like breathing – it’s just what we do. We don’t really do anything else – we don’t know how.

    This word can be translated as the mind of God. Because this word is used as if referring to the mind of God.

    But, this is a deception in and of itself. There exists no truth to discover: it isn’t hidden. The universe lies bare for us all to see.

    We lack the senses to see it, and we lack the mind to comprehend it.

    The problem the is not one of knowing the truth – the mind of God – as if we seek to know the mind of one another.

    The problem we face is in compensating for the frailty of our senses perception and reason by the construction of instruments:

    1- mechanical

    2- logical

    3- social (institutional)

    And of the tree, the third is most important since it is the hardest to develop and control, because the incentives of individuals are contrary to the production of instrumental measurements.

    We – all of us – constitute the third form of instrument – the division of calculation across individuals.

    And our only means of producing accurate measures and calculations upon them is to require truthful testimony from one another.

    But your take away from this short bit of prose, is that westerners engaged in methodological ternary-ism not methodological dualism.

    And we didn’t even know that was our art.

    I think this problem is now one I can consider solved.

    CONSUMER CAPITALISM? OR IS IT CONSUMER CREDIT-ISM?

    Why do we refer to it as capitalism when that era ended half a century ago and call it credit-ism instead.

    Ukrainians are poor because they lack credit. Capitalism is a different class problem altogether. And by historical standards we don’t really have any capitalists any longer – inly people with enough trust to accumulate a lot if credit.

    It was easy to amass a little capital and produce consumer goods.

    It was a lot harder to distribute credit to all.

    Consumer credit-ism is how we operate – capitalism died with the end of the conversion of people from the farm.

    Marriage with legal requirement for commitment but without legal requirement for sex is unequal representation. It’s not that legal requirement for sex is necessarily the right answer. The right answer is to abandon legal requirement for commitment and financial support.

    (And yeah, my rather absurd costs for this are constantly on my mind.)
