    PHILOSOPHICAL NEGATIVE FEEDBACK LOOPS?

Why has islam been a salted earth for trust, intellectual, and commercial development? Once islam was widely adopted by the conquered (host) peoples, why did they decline so rapidly? Why does islam remain so hostile to intelligence?

    1) Innate inferiority of the adopting/conquered peoples

    2) Universal breeding with african slaves.

    3) Consequences of cousin marriage (inbreeding)

    4) Consequences of failure to transform from migratory herder antagonistic norms to static cooperative farmer norms.

    5) Problem of inability to control underclass reproduction among tribal, non-agrarian, non-commercial, peoples

    6) Islam teaches freedom of emotional expression and ritual but not mental discipline? It teaches one must be respected not earn respect by his behavior? It teaches memorization but not innovation? It teaches conformity but not meritocracy? In other words, it consists of fully negative feedback loops?

So, basically, have I just said that islam consists of a nothing but negative feedback loops? It’s tenets produce the precise opposite of western civilization?

Would the west have been so dominant without the discovery of the New World and the colonization made possible by the lagging development of (a) north america/Australia (c) Caribbean, (b) Africa, (c) the fall of the islamic empires because of inability to adapt, (c) India, and (d) China (the opium trade which i regard as an evil)?

That said western ethics consist of almost exclusively positive feedback loops.

Here in Ukraine I bought and drive this 1992 Toyota MR2. In the states it’s worth 4-5k maybe. Here it cost me 8k. And honestly It is one of my favorite cars. Why? I don’t worry about it. Unlike the Jaguars, Porsches and Ferrari, it costs nothing to repair. It’s fun as hell to drive. There are only three in Ukraine. The air conditioning doesn’t work. It leaks oil. It leaks ps fluid. A total engine rebuild is 2k. P

EASTERN EUROPE AS GHETTO: PERMISSION NOT LIBERTY

    (from elsewhere)

I like Tucker Personally. But (a) these guys are not exactly serious intellectuals – libertarians tend not to be. And (b) he is trying to find an income stream and that’s difficult in libertarianism other than selling complaints (not solutions). I have a hard time understanding why Lew moves so slowly when the science and the evidence (and my arguments) have pretty much eliminated the Cosmopolitan libertinism of the diasporic people being applied to land holding capital creating warrior aristocracy that DOES produce liberty.

I mean, I live here in Eastern Europe where their ideology comes from. And it’s just like the Icelandic or Wild West fallacies: you have freedom only because there are no near competitors AND your territory is ruled and owed by a major power that merely wants some tribute for defending it.

In most cases, government is lax in frontiers for the simple reason that they want you to bear all the costs of living there, and if you’re there it gives them moral authority to stop others from conquering and possessing the territory without a fight.

Eastern Europe was a ghetto. Just a very big, very poor one. A polish, a lithuanian, an austrian, and a russian ghetto. That’s all it ever was.

Ergo ghetto ethics only apply in the ghetto.

You might notice that the Crusoe’s Island arguments use the sea as the walls of the ghetto.

But in real life, in reality, ghettos exist by permission. Ergo. One does not have liberty in a ghetto one merely has permission. Crusoe lives at the will of the sea just as ghettos live at the will of the ruling state.

    ROTHBARDIANISM IS DEAD

There is only one source of liberty: the point of a knife, the tip of a spear, the shaft of an arrow, the barrel of a rifle, the shells of a gun, the velocity of a bomb.

Liberty is constructed through violence and violence alone. All else is but permission.

    TRUTH

When we testify to one another we are seeking to produce a ‘not-false’ testimony, not a ‘true’ or ‘complete’ testimony.

The costs of producing that testimony, and the costs of interpreting that testimony must be offset by the value of the information received by the testimony, and the cooperation, or options on cooperation, or optional discounts on future testimony, that one anticipates obtaining in exchange for performing the testimony.
