When arguing under natural law it is not so important that you master all the contracts (legislations) and processes (regulations). The reason being that legislations and regulations are always open to revision or refutation if they violate the One Law. So while many layers of contract and regulation may result in conformity to the One Law, it is also possible that they may result in violation of the One Law. And the only way we know that is through FULL ACCOUNTING.

Most of what I encounter is people trying to talk about precise things dependent upon reason and deduction, while relying on imprecise language from which reason and deduction are largely impossible.

One cannot make deductive arguments from the common speech – which is full of error and ignorance.

There is a very good reason that each discipline uses specific terminoligy despite the confusion that this creates for non-members: some degree of precision is necessary for the purpose of argument.

Law still uses latin terms for good reason: they’re not open to colloquial interpretation.

    Jefferson misunderstood.

It is not the method of governance that matters so much as rule of law that constrains the action of all – governing and governed alike.

He justified majoritarianism, possible only under homogenity, yet enfranchised all hoping that the church would create the homogenaity.

But the ‘priesthood’ that ‘kept the faith’ of western civilization in prehistory, and in the ancient, medieval, and modern periods, has been the judiciary. The church was just another house of government.

The question we must solve is quite simple: how to preserve the independence, scholarship, and exclusivity of the judiciary, as the final arbiter of disputes over property-in-toto.

The truth is that self interest alone is what drives these people. And self defense of their status is enough, so long as the militia stands, and the miitary indocrtinates.

Public apps need incremental exposure of features the same way some games provide incremental exposure of features.

In Oversing you start with facebook, skills, projects, tasks, and calendar.

You can use workspaces if you want to, and start by adding collaboration.

You can expand the workspace with all sorts of additional tools.

You can add your own business rules (workflows)

You can buy your own instances and add financial functionality.

So you can get everything from an Asana/Slack to a full enterprise ERP.

The hard part is incrementally exposing it.

Facebook pulls another Google, with Facebook At Work. Finally released. Started the same time as we did. They have not come close to matching Slack or Yammer’s features. Sigh.

    Things HBR doesn’t tell you.

Entrepreneurs are largely born. If you require inspiration rather than relief from frustration you don’t have the gene.

Small/medium business owners have the highest average income our if every single occupation.

Opportunities can be captured by many means:

By your incentive to pursue an otherwise unprofitable niche market.

    ( tech services )

By your disruption of an inefficient cost structure.

    ( aged bureaucracy )

By your invention of a replacement of marginal difference.

    ( shrinking disk drives )

By applying credit to an efficient but disrupt able market.

    ( big box stores )

By appealing to greed and fantasy.

    ( gambling )

By taking advantage of taboos, laws, and regulation.

( black market and drugs )

    By selling harmless pseudoscience.

    ( dietary supplements )

    By taking advantage of hardship

    ( mortgage schemes )

By perpetuating a fraud. ( financial services)

By the use of bribery. (Corruption)

By violent coercion. ( organised crime )

    By conspiracy ( govt )

    By conquest. (War )

Ideas are neither scarce nor special. Customers, marketing, sales and distribution channels as scare everyone and special.

It is almost impossible to preserve customer focus of employee and management effort. People seek to avoid it like the unpredictable work that it is.

Credit capacity is more influential than product quality.

We try to be cunning to get attention but customers just care about the truth. Tell them.

“Our enemies are animals, combating them isnt cruelty. It is an act of love and absolute devotion to humanity” — Aaron Catlin Styles.

    Human?

My definition of human is someone with whom I can cooperate with for reciprocal benefit. My definition of livestock is one that I must manage or maintain – a slave. My definition of animal is one whom I cannot cooperate with nor manage, nor maintain – a resource, a pest, a parasite, or a predator.

One acts as a Human, Livestock, or Animal. What one looks like, or speaks is immaterial. I cannot cooperate with an ape, I may not be able to domesticate it without incurring a net loss. So it remains a resource at best and a pest or parasite or predator under other conditions.

If we cannot cooperate or domesticate a creature it is not human: someone with whom we can cooperate with in the production of goods, services, and information, family, and generations, commons and defense.

(My father was an abusive puritanical tyrant. And like many boys whose self, mothers and sisters were under threat, I grew up with a hate of conflict, feeling of responsibility, and drive to defeat tyranny. Add a dose of autism, and a childhood memory of the 60’s and 70’s, and you get someone who wants a meritocratic order where our only possible venue for action is the market, and political change by any other means is not only unavailable due to monarchy, but impossible to exercise through the outlawing of political organizations. it’s not complicated. Monarchy and a market for dispute resolution, a market for commons, and a market for goods, services, and information, and a market for reproduction were far better than the central control of each.)
