Triangulation. It’s the same process as disambiguation by Serialization and operationalization. Use of adversarial competition to rank by one or more dimensions.
Art is the best example of something we presume can’t be objectively measured.
But we can judge almost anything by the accumulated excellence of human actions: caloric content (more dependencies is better).
Take an art movement. Take the examples of that movement. analyze and rank by craftsmanship(construction, technique, materials), design(aesthetics, composition, light, color, texture, ), meaning (content, simple content to high content).
Compare the ultimate achievements of that movement with those that were less so. Order them – this is triangulation. “Where does this fit between what other two?”
You will notice that the progression is not linear but logarithmic, with many adequate pieces and few superior.
You now have an ordinal if logarithmically scaling measure if not a cardinal and linear measure.
Keep adding artworks until because of marginal indifference, you must categorize groups instead of stacking individual pieces.
Now those categories produce a cardinal measure. Repeat for all art movements.
Then stack those movements.
You now have a metric for judging pieces (three dimensions), categories (one or three dimensions), and movements (one or three dimensions).

It’s easy to undermine Daniel’s argument: Yes our techne (tools) can be turned on ourselves. We can control our population through eugenics (Prohibiting reproduction of the bottom), so that we maintain equilibrium with resources while continually evolving until we need little work to keep the population evolving. It’s interesting that he’s still trying to satisfy the female instinct for survival of all, which would lead to devolutionary dysgenics as it has outside of Europe and China.
The entire program of Jewish pseudoscience from Boas, Freud, Marx to Derrida, Friedan, (and daniel, eric, and brett) is an attempt to deny the fact that only Europeans and Chinese managed to maintain natural selection – by infanticide, agrarian manorialism, markets, credit, and aggressive capital punishment. And that the intentional defeat of the eugenics movement, and suppression of eugenics research by Jews in the postwar period, and suppression of genetic research by Christians in the post-cold war period, are the origin of the problem.
You can try to avoid the obvious and the truthful with dreams of violating the physical (entropy, scarcity), natural (a division of labor, reciprocity), and evolution (regression to the mean, eugenics) and invent a third wave of false promises ( wave one superstition: Judaism, Christianity, Islam; wave two pseudoscience: Marxism, neo-Marxism, postmodernism, and wave three: sophistic pseudoscience? ). I’m just doing the facts. Jesus did what the did. It solved two huge problems in aristocratic civilization: virtue for the underclasses, and development of high trust outside of the military. Had he been added to the pantheon rather than paul turning it into another revolutionary movement, it would have been fine.
