Form: Short Note

I guess that I should be happy that Russia just helped put a bullet in the mythos of democracy. Not that it needed a bullet. It’s pretty much been an unmitigated disaster everywhere.

Although, the data in the west at least, suggests that it’s women and non-nuclear family immigration that made the marginally destructive difference.

    WEAK AND THE STRONG

    1) Democracy is weak – Monarchy is superior.

    2) The Absolute nuclear family is weak – the Extended and Inbred Families are superior.

    3) Secularism is weak – Religion is stronger.

    4) Credit is weak – Force is stronger.

The west had one thing going for it: a homogenous (behaviorally intolerant, absolute nuclear family) protestant society under monarchy where there is no access to political power, forces all groups to compete only in the market.

When groups compete in the market they innovate. Innovation OVER TIME allows for the rapid development of technology that allows a free minority to remain free.

When groups compete in politics they’re not innovating, just transferring between each other. While it may be true that groups can invest together to attempt to obtain dividends on their investments, and that state sponsored investments generally can concentrate greater capital than private investments,

The least costly military is a fully participatory militia capable of denying any forces access to territory without perpetual losses, and nuclear weapons to prevent military and nuclear threats.

The least costly bureaucracy is private monarchy, voluntary representation or direct democracy, and privatized delivery of services.

There are some areas where division of labor is destructive, and that’s war, and the maintenance of the normative commons.

    USA APPROVES OF SECESSION?

So, does this mean that the USA now supports secession?

    That is excellent news. Why?

Secession kills the creditworthiness of the state.

Without credit, there is no welfare-warfare state.

Texas has its own power grid. 😉

PISSING ON THE FIRE HYDRANT – MARKING YOUR TERRITORY

Russia says they ‘own’ Hungary, Bulgarian, and Ukraine.

–“”We believe that the rights of Russians, Hungarians, Bulgarians, actually as Ukrainians, must be secured and protected,” — says Lavrov in London after the talks with the US Secretary of State John Kerry.”–

Didn’t Occur to me that if the Russians take Crimea, the Chinese will then take Taiwan. Just like it didn’t occur to me that the Russian elite look at china as a model government.

What are we supposed to learn? The social democratic model doesn’t work no matter what way we look at it? Right? I mean. That’s the lesson isn’t it?

I said, almost ten years ago, that if the dollar collapsed that we could no longer afford our military and that the standard of living of the average american would decline by 40-50% – and stay there.

    End the empire.

FWIW: We human beings operate by status signals more so than any other thing that we covet.

Loss aversion is a strong instinct. loss aversion by ‘theft, cheating and free riding’ is stronger still. But of all the things we covet most, and and are most adverse to loss, status is the greatest – often more so than our kin.

It is the redistribution of earned status that produces agitation on one end, and a reaction to the relative lack of status at the other end.

Progressives use the best of all worlds: the don’t bear many children, they earn high incomes, and they obtain their status using other people’s money.

Whereas a middle class business owner, or upper middle class professional, cannot devote his earnings to increasing the number of his children, increasing his comfort in retirement, nor transferring his accumulated wealth to his family.

Meanwhile, others gain status merely by appropriating and redistributing the product of his efforts.

    US STATE DEPARTMENT CONTACT (EMBASSY)

“…. if you have an opportunity to leave Ukraine you should do it. …”

I’m not ‘permitted’ to say what else I know from other channels (which are silver bullets that I don’t use). But the net is, that they have no idea whats going to happen after tomorrow.

“….. could be a war, or it could be much better than it is right now…”

Russia takes the Chinese Route to Authoritarian Capitalism?

Interesting. So we stopped funding Russian analysts and we missed it? Putin and his inner circle are adopting the Chinese model? He’s told the leading billionaires that any wealth that they have outside of Russia is lost? That two years ago he planned this and told them to bring it home? That he planned this invasion of Ukraine last summer, including the conquest of the east?

Conquest of Crimea almost complete. Given the level of corruption of the Russian regions of Ukraine, the leadership there knows that they’ll go to jail under a modernized Ukraine, so they’re going to work to support Russian conquest.

I guess that the deal is done? Ukraine will be split and armed, replacing Germany as the battlefield between east and west?

Fascinating times. Kind of ruins the joy of experiencing the revolution here.

Nukes are your only chance at sovereignty.

Everyone needs nukes. Thats the lesson.

Thats the lesson that NKorea and Pakistan suggested, Iran has adopted and Ukraine proved.

Welcome to the end of nuclear non-proliferation.

Well, that’s the answer now, isn’t it?

I’ve been hung up on the goal of promoting my ‘team’.

But if Rothbardian libertarianism is already tainted – a demonstrably failed, social, political, philosophical and ethical dead end – then why try to rescue it? It’s done anyway. After Hans there isn’t anyone else. And the world has all but marginalized us anyway.

I mean, MI can’t attract any funding and is on the decline. The Ron Paul movement is pretty classical liberal, which is why it’s done more than the rothbardian movement ever has or will.

I could just truncate all the libertarian arguments and references and construct the entire work on Aristocratic Egalitarian Liberty and Property rights without even mentioning the anarcho capitalist program.

I keep making all this work for myself when it’s trying to shoehorn all this continental rationalism nonsense into what is pretty much an analytic work.

    Interesting….
