There is a great difference between an imitation, a likeness, and a similarity. Trademarks prohibit imitation, require distinction such that products differ in likeness, but do not prohibit similarity. The consumer must not be fooled, nor may the consumer purchase a signal good, and then display it as an act of fraud. However, one may not possess a claim to an idea.

That was the last piece of the puzzle. Markets evolve agency.
The rest has been largely work on religion – and the battle of the east and west against the steppe and desert peoples who were unsuccessful at transitioning to farming and developing farmer genes and farmer ethics and farmer cultures.
At present I’m doing pretty well on the core of the book. Lets see how well I do this time. So far, no roadblocks. No “dammit, I have to solve that now.”

The Chinese want to insulate themselves and rule by influence.
The west has been expansionist, because the west tries to profit from rule.
The problem is, that western civilization requires the imposition of markets and the continuous reorganization of the dominance hierarchy, and this has been unsuccessful in every other civilization.
It is increasingly appearing that it might be genetic as well as cultural.
We must contain ourselves to our realms until the other peoples, purely by want of imitation, adopt our methods.

THIS QUARTER’S MOST SUBSTANTIAL SURPRISE
I think that my major surprise this year, was the understanding that Abrahamism is a feminine assault on aristocracy by the underclasses and women. And that only china has resisted it successfully. And resisted it through nationalism, and limiting expansion of their territory. The west has been expansionist.
I think that’s the big scary insight.
We need to build more walls, and kill everyone that comes over them.
The great wall of europe on one end and the great wall of china on the other.

It’s not complicated. If we manage to do little more than (a) get everyone fit enough to fight. (b) create a communication network, (c) understand what must be done, (d) prepare our demands, (e) anticipate taking action… then yes, we will have converted a population of keyboard warriors to revolutionaries.
It matters. Men need moral conviction, a sense of membership, a plan of action, and a set of demands.
That is all that is necessary for revolution.

( Thinking about how the universe, and the structure of the universe isn’t something ‘out there’ bigger than we are and imperceptible to us, or here, in our solids, liquids, gasses, plasmas and spaces that is perceptible to us. And that it’s just a vast web of these very small geometric phenomenon that through attraction and resistance create spaces of different sizes with different fields, and that its all winking and twinking and twirling and spinning and that …. and I’t just. I just dont’ wanna go there. I mean, although, the fact that everything is connected by fields within fields, is sort of beautiful and in some way I feel the universe is less alien, that does not make me feel any better given how hostile the universe is to us, and how hard we must work to make spaces for ourselves, that we can survive within. And our rather short experience as creatures of reason, capable of transforming this world, is amounts to nothing in the tempo of the universe.)
