Evola continued the european tradition of continental philosophy and literature, which remains, fundamentally, theological (even today), and quite unlike anglo (legal-scientific). It is meant to inspire more than educate – as if in church. Anglo literature is meant to educate more than inspire – as if in court.

âComedy is about an ordinary guy or gal struggling against insurmountable odds without many of the required skills and tools with which to win yet never giving up hope.â
The âALL IS LOSTâ and âDARK NIGHT OF THE SOULâ is always filled with the Character (& Audience) giving up HOPE. This downbeat happens before the âBREAK INTO THREEâ where a new plan is conceived and the theme of the movie is answered and put into action.
HOPE is the switch that changes the tone of a film (and life) from dramatic to comedic.
I think many guys would agree that the efforts of Curt and Propertarians has really boosted our HOPE, which naturally increases our humor.
This explains why Curt laughs so much (especially when interviewed by friends.)
As for Tragedy, if I recall correctly, the defining element is that the main character has a tragic flaw, usually hubris which brings about his demise.
Itâs not a tragedy if the main character doesnât have a tragic flaw, itâs just a bad movie, or a sad ending.Feb 14, 2019, 8:46 PMMicah Pezdirtzcomedy for me, tragedy for my enemiesFeb 16, 2019, 5:17 PMBryan Nova Breyatta boy! đđźFeb 16, 2019, 6:10 PMTyler DuskMy nibbaFeb 17, 2019, 3:54 PM
I have an INTP personality and a ‘touch’ of aspergers. So no. I don’t have autism per se. I am very low on the autism spectrum. And even among aspies I am marginal. I have a tendency to obsessive thinking, a tendency to narrow interest, difficulty changing contexts, limited self and present awareness, and some difficulty empathizing with certain categories of emotion (insecurity and fear).
—“We have a real solution now and a real plan of action, now we just need consensus, which we are reaching. For the past 20 years, talk about civil war has been just that, talk. As long as people are economically comfortable it was always just talk. But we’re rapidly approaching the point where pure environmental and economic conditions will force people into action, talk will no longer be an option.”—Dax Rayner
