Well, there are examples of GROUPS adopting the female strategy. There are examples of MEN adopting the female strategy. The consequence of pedomorphism could continue to soften the male strategy (at high costs). But women prefer men who demonstrate the male strategy. Meanwhile we are doing what women SAY they want (feminising men) but DEMONSTRATING that they want something different in mates: the male strategy. So either we stop listening to what women SAY and watch what they do, and change men ourselves, or we are defeated by men who do because that is what women actually want.

There are only two genders. If we try to achieve one, we will end up with none.

Bonobo’s only exist because they aren’t worth EATING by anyone yet. Or put another way, bonobos MAY exist because they were too expensive to eat and not enough of a threat to any male dominance hierarchy to kill off. IN other words, bonobos are soft because others forced them to be. We all tend to model evolution in a vacuum rather than as a competition. When the ‘age of apes’ saw a lot of experimentation within the great ape family, and *almost all variations ended up dead*.)

( I’m sorry but it’s just not true. I can’t create a proof of it. There are just too many variations. There are people without a past tense. There are people of history. People of literature. People of myth. the value is in pack formation. And that is the reason we still possess the ‘feeling’. But why isn’t it just another kind of addiction? )

  • “Is criticism of economic velocity a sentiment against pure capitalism?”—Ayela

—“Is criticism of economic velocity a sentiment against pure capitalism?”—Ayelam Valentine Agaliba

It’s that velocity is not a sufficient measure. At some point you’re either increasing risk(insufficient reserves) or decreasing accumulated capital(consuming reserves), or maximizing rents(creating fragility) such that it is not possible to (a) adapt to shocks, (b) adapt to change, because there is insufficient free capital or available debt to adjust the voluntary organization of production distribution and trade, consisting in patterns of sustainable specialization and trade, and you achieve in organizational continuity, the same effect as deflation in economic continuity.

Collapses aren’t rare and usually occur in one generation or less. But they always occur for the same reasons: accumulated fragility.

All the drastic collapses occur from overextension, economic colonization, export of technology, reproductive decrease, and primitive (empowered underclass) migrations willing to pay higher costs to obtain than advanced societies are willing to pay to maintain. (china the durable exception that even egypt didn’t survive.)

Now, in our current condition this fragility is 3 hours of power, 2 days of water, 7 days of food, 14 days of gasoline, and about 30-60 days of ‘chaos’. (Which I’m sure enough people in govt know. I know members of the boards of power companies who are all too clear about it.)

So i view pure capitalism as full accounting of all changes in state of all capital, not what it is now, ‘just run at high rpm’s until everything breaks’. SO it’s not a criticism of capitalism but a criticism of keynesianism (measurement of velocity without measurement of capital.)

AFAIK: all economic collapse is a failure of measurement.

    (update…)

OK. I have to talk to you. This is … just fucking awesome.

There are what? Three, or four novel ideas here?

And the picture that you paint is intuitively much better than any other I’ve come across because it ‘feels’ like a believable narrative where people are travelling trading and spreading as density increases, and all the normal eddies and flows are happening back and forth.

Too many questions. Need to watch it a few more times.

(not sure why you need to go into the atlantean thing, nor jump into the religious thing, but otherwise a great narrative)

    By William L. Benge

    Your ordering:

    individual action —- cooperative action

    industriousness —- pro-sociality

    private property —- common property

    Suggests:

    eugenia — dysgenia

Which is repaired by the duality of reciprocity:

    negativa — positiva

This repairing may be volunteered instantly or gradually, and by or for a village, town, city, entire regions and continents of persons, a single household, or, in the remotest ultimate possibility, by the entire civilized world.

The scope is limited by an unmeasured and therefore uncertain liquidity. Only with data can we deny the potential of short-order international breadth, a new worldwide ethos.

    (well done!)

That’s not true. It’s that they have the same interpersonal values, but very different social values, and extremely different political values, and entirely incompatible civilizational values.

—“sometimes it seems you make cases for things that seem in contradiction with certain parts of reciprocity. I do think my primary problem of understanding has been discerning whether your speaking descriptively or prescriptively.”—

Well it depends on whether I’m talking about reciprocity (natural law) or aristocratic egalitarianism (rule by natural law). You can create ANY government and economic order under natural law that you want to. It will just be a truthful and transparent one.

You can also create a perfect government (aristocratic egalitarianism) which is what i RECOMMEND.
