—“The solution is for us to stop being reasonable. Stop compromising and start being intolerant and objective. The most intolerant win, and that needs to be us. Propertarianism gives us the tools to be totally intolerant and objective in our demands. This is the reason we are the Winning Right.”–Noah J Revoy

    FOR LURKERS….

    by Dominic DeLuca

For the lurkers who might feel intellectually intimidated by Curt’s writing style or content, just ask for clarification if there’s something you don’t understand. It’s something that you should use to your advantage, considering that most people who produce content like this are nowhere near as accessible as he is.

PROPERTARIANISM’S INTELLECTUAL CONTEXT BY KASH VIKAAS.

—“Propertarianism and its proxy testimonialism is the operational theory of critical naturalism (praxis). Naturalism was the dominant theory of modern idealism before postmodernism before grammatology (Derrida) appeared on the scene.”—

Well, you know, in the context of grammatology, I also produced the table of the grammars which is sort of the Periodic Table of Speech.

My view of Derrida and grammatology is that they’re just updating pilpul (sophism), for the same reason the rabbis invented pilpul (sophism) and the same reason plato invented idealism (sophism).

So social construction from the postmoderns, and the prohibition of social construction (sophism) from propertarianism (critical naturalism).

—“Lake Toba is the site of a massive supervolcanic eruption estimated at VEI 8 that occurred 69,000 to 77,000 years ago,[2][3][4] representing a climate-changing event.

It is the largest-known explosive eruption on Earth in the last 25 million years.

According to the Toba catastrophe theory, it had global consequences for human populations; it killed most humans living at that time and is believed to have created a population bottleneck in central east Africa and India, which affects the genetic make-up of the human worldwide population to the present.[6]

It has been accepted that the eruption of Toba led to a volcanic winter with a worldwide decrease in temperature between 3 to 5 °C (5.4 to 9.0 °F), and up to 15 °C (27 °F) in higher latitudes. Additional studies in Lake Malawi in East Africa show significant amounts of ash being deposited from the Toba eruptions, even at that great distance, but little indication of a significant climatic effect in East Africa.[7]”

Lake Toba (Indonesian: Danau Toba) is a large natural lake in Indonesia occupying the caldera of a supervolcano. The lake is about 100 kilometres (62 miles) long, 30 kilometres (19 mi) wide, and up to 505 metres (1,657 ft) deep.

Located in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, with a surface elevation of about 900 metres (2,953 ft), the lake stretches from 2.88°N 98.52°E to 2.35°N 99.1°E. It is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world.[1]

Recent advances in dating methods suggest a more accurate identification of 74,000 years ago as the date.[5] “—

    This is super interesting

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2842692/

“Culture–gene coevolutionary theory posits that cultural values have evolved, are adaptive and influence the social and physical environments under which genetic selection operates. Here, we examined the association between cultural values of individualism–collectivism and allelic frequency of the serotonin transporter functional polymorphism (5-HTTLPR) as well as the role this culture–gene association may play in explaining global variability in prevalence of pathogens and affective disorders. We found evidence that collectivistic cultures were significantly more likely to comprise individuals carrying the short (S) allele of the 5-HTTLPR across 29 nations.

Results further show that historical pathogen prevalence predicts cultural variability in individualism–collectivism owing to genetic selection of the S allele. Additionally, cultural values and frequency of S allele carriers negatively predict global prevalence of anxiety and mood disorder. Finally, mediation analyses further indicate that increased frequency of S allele carriers predicted decreased anxiety and mood disorder prevalence owing to increased collectivistic cultural values.

Taken together, our findings suggest culture–gene coevolution between allelic frequency of 5-HTTLPR and cultural values of individualism–collectivism and support the notion that cultural values buffer genetically susceptible populations from increased prevalence of affective disorders.

Implications of the current findings for understanding culture–gene coevolution of human brain and behaviour as well as how this coevolutionary process may contribute to global variation in pathogen prevalence and epidemiology of affective disorders, such as anxiety and depression, are discussed.”
