MERKEL: “MUTICULTURALISM, A SHAM” == PARALLEL SOCIETIES

(not that we can trust what merkel says any more than putin or obama these days) (h/t: Alexander Brown )

Monday, December 14, Chancellor Angela Merkel was at a her party convention. There, she told her political party people that multiculturalism is indeed a sham, that she would act to stem the raging migrant flow. She however defended her opened door policy that left German borders opened for the migrant influx, and said she is decidedly against aggressive unilateral German action in migrant crisis resolution, insisting that she would seek an European agreement towards a final solution.

    Angela Merkel:

“Multiculturalism leads to parallel societies and therefore remains a ‘life lie’.

The [ migrant ] challenge is immense. We want and we will reduce the number of refugees noticeably.”

The Chancellor told the gathering that the migrants have to integrate, and assimilate German culture, values, and respect laws.

Already, ONE MILLION migrants made it into Germany, and got registered by the German authorities beginning January 2015.

She is beginning to speak the truth as per this tide of immigration. The timing however, is significant. She may be doing so to please the political base she was meeting. Or she may mean what was said, in fact.

If she is serious, question would be when she realised this: now or prior. If earlier, why is she now speaking, and wanting to act albeit still weakly. If now, it further speak to her palpable weakness and cluelessness, even more. Regardless, she is now somewhat awake. And, Germany may close the migrant tap while benefitting from those that already made it in situ.

WELL AT LEAST AMERICANS ARE BEING HONEST NOW – MUST HAVE BEEN AN ACCIDENT.

—“In the 21st century, nations cannot — and we cannot allow them to redraw borders by force. These are the ground rules. And if we fail to uphold them, we will rue the day. Russia has violated these ground rules and continues to violate them. Today Russia is occupying sovereign Ukrainian territory. Let me be crystal clear: The United States does not, will not, never will recognize Russia’s attempt to annex the Crimea. (Applause.) It’s that saying — that simple. There is no justification.

And as Russia continues to send its thugs, its troops, its mercenaries across the border, Russian tanks and missiles still fill the Donbas. Separatist forces are organized, commanded and directed by Moscow — by Moscow. (Applause.)

So the United States will continue to stand with Ukraine against Russian aggression. We’re providing support to help and train and assist your security forces, and we’ve relied on and rallied the rest of the world to Ukraine’s cause.”

    – From Vice President Joe Biden’s speech in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, December 8, 2015″—

    https://medium.com/@gutanaka/there-is-something-extraordinary-happening-10492495c715#.rlfvpy4sqHeartwarming post.

I’ll add a little context by way of political economy, and say that the world (a)first organized by household and slaves in the agrarian era by kinship relations, then (b) organized militarily and monarchally for the unskilled for the seasonal production cycle with extended relations, (c) then industrially and socialistically for the semi-skilled medium term production cycle of heavy capital and long term medium term relationships between firms, and is (d) currently organizing entrepreneurially and social democratically for the educated ‘discretionary worker’ for short term production cycles, highly distributed capital, and temporary networks of firms wherever it can do so.

But meanwhile (a) labor was never of much value in contrast to organizing production, and is of still declining value (b) marginal difference in firms was created by capital, and is now created by talent and creativity, (c) the duration of organizations (firms) has continued to decline along with the duration of networks of production. (d) Those countries playing catch-up will not sustain their growth because (e) institutions (trust and corruption) prevent them from doing so. So good institutions are less valuable than not having bad institutions. Worse, it appears that (f) good genetic capital is not as important as not having bad genetic capital. As France is illustrating, you can reverse the Flynn effect (benefit from transitioning from many individual rules to few simple general scientific principles of universal applicability).

We are engaged in the third world war at present, and it has no sign of improvement. And neither temporary networks of production nor the governments that facilitate may be able to survive the combination of a third world war, a slowing of growth, and a continued expansion of population of the underclasses for whom gainful labor is decreasingly available.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but the reverse side of the coin is just as frightening as the obverse is inspiring.

NEVER BEND THE KNEE INVOLUNTARILY – EVER.

—“The thing I hate about cops is it really grates having to bend the knee to those who are, by most measures, my inferiors.”—- Eli Harman

Yeah. I’ve actually taken to using “Who do you think you’re talking to soldier?” in a demanding paternal voice to anyone in uniform. Strange how well it works. And in public I’m testing “I am a gentleman, and you will treat me as such.” This leaves the implied ‘or else’. And in groups “I am aristocracy. And I will tolerate this behavior.”

Always good to let the little people know who is in charge.

Works much better when you’re over 50. But I didn’t realize how often I was doing it when I was younger.

Authority is an air. It is not cultivated so much as constructed. Not contrived so much as instinct. Not learned so much as practiced.

The world needs us. When we abandon our paternalism we leave the lesser people to the victimization of the lower life forms.

**Every man a noble, every man a judge, every man a sheriff, every man a warrior, every man a craftsman.**

***It is through individual intolerance for barbarism that we build our great civilization.***

One of my first oaths is:

“Aristocracy May Not Be Bound”. –I agree to the one law, the moral law of property. I do not agree to any other. And any man who binds me shall die by my hand or the hand of my brothers. And I swear to all my brothers that any man who binds my brother shall die by my hand or the hand of my brothers.—

This is an modern version of the initiatic brotherhood of soldiers – which appears to be older than our memories, but no less than 3500 years old.

    (lyrics)(poetry)

This song came out when I was in college. And while it’s a catchy tune by a natural tenor, the reason it held me was the intertemporality of the lyrics. And like many subconscious suggestions it has become part of my metaphysical perceptions of my life – albeit not as a musician.

I loved my wife Allora – more than I thought possible – but you know, she told me she would leave me if I engaged in revolutionary activities. When I was becoming very active against Clinton’s interference in ancient culture of the military, and was writing propaganda for the militias, she came out pretty hard against it. So for about ten years I ‘mellowed’. But I eventually came to see that restraint as strangling the purpose to which I felt I must dedicate my life.

I think that my marriage represents my hiatus. But after the first bout of cancer I felt I was both running out of time, and running out of patience. So like many people who recover from a serious illness and value each and every day as precious, I began working very hard on how to create a rational langauge for politics. And by 2006 I had made my first draft of what will become propertarianism. It was terrible and very long, and like most people, a tale of history without cause. It told me how much I had to learn. THen In 2009 I tried again, and that draft led me to my 2013 draft of only 200 pages. But then I felt I needed to understand even more – particularly truth. And that is when the magic happened and everything came together.

    —-

But there are times that you feel you’re part of the scenery

all the greenery …. is coming down, ….. boy.

And then your wife seems to think you’re part of the furniture……

oh, it’s peculiar,…… she used to be so nice.

You never see what you want to see…

    Forever playing to the gallery.

And when you’re up on the stage, it’s so unbelievable,

    unforgettable,….. how they adore…… you,

But then your wife seems to think you’re losing your sanity,

Does it feel that you life’s become a catastrophe?

But does it have to be?…… For you to grow, … boy.

So, when the day comes to settle down,

Who’s to blame if you’re not around?

—“Poverty … is a most necessary and indispensable ingredient in society, without which nations and communities could not exist in a state of civilisation. It is the lot of man – it is the source of wealth, since without poverty there would be no labour, and without labour there could be no riches, no refinement, no comfort, and no benefit to those who may be possessed of wealth.[97]”–May, Trevor (1987), An Economic and Social History of Britain
