Sure fictions and myths, archetypes and transcendent ideal motivate and guide human behaviour, but so does law. Advocacy as mean to effect change (a spin or assumption from living in democracies and markets) logically leads to persuasion by information opposed to persuasion by force. A civilization doesn’t require fictions, it requires rule of law.”–
