QUESTION: —“Curt I have a question for you. Do you think that there is any possibility of a tyrant getting in charge of the USA should it descend into civil war for separation? Or do we think this can be done by democratic processes in place? The latter one I think realistically doesn’t have a chance.”—

There is a possibility of democratic process *IF* we propose a solution that is a superior alternative to certain conflict. This is what I hope to do. But the public won’t accept that until the conflict is certain. Which will happen soon.

Any democrat is by definition a tyrant, because any rule by legislation rather than rule by law of reciprocity is by definition despotism.

My hope, and most probable is a military takeover of the government. The problem is that the military needs something to enforce. So we must provide them with the market demand (up rising), moral license (to prevent chaos and civil war), and solution (that they can enforce to maintain the peace).

We will need to act before the election. That’s all I can tell you. And that is why I’m working so hard to get enough done to provide that solution – at the last minute.

WHY IS DEBATING AGAINST P SO UNPLEASANT?

Listening to EMJ debate Dutton and Recognizing the profound difference between Argument and Error, vs Prosecution and Lying. So the reason it’s so painful for others to argue with us, is that if you use operational terms you can’t testify to something you claim you can, then you’re lying or engaging in fraud, while if you’re argument in ideal language instead of operational, you’re just making an error. This is why people hate arguing with us. That not only do we eliminate the ability to engage in sophism, but we don’t call it error, we call it lying, fraud, and deceit.

    by @[1013719133:2048:Luke Weinhagen]

Is there a relationship between virtue and freedom? Why might have the Founding Father pursued virtue, rather than explicitly pursue freedom?

In this context, I am using –

Virtues: the characteristics and actions of an individual that enable the accumulation of trust.

Vices: the characteristics and actions of an individual that consume trust.

Virtue Freedom: The ability to refrain from acting, without the burden of consequence. To be free from compulsion.

    Versus

Vice Freedom: The ability to act, without the burden of consequence. To be free from costs.

It is my belief that –

Virtue empowers the development of freedom, as trust increases the incentive for compulsion decreases.

Vice is dependent on freedom, social costs of vice are covered by consuming the store of trust.

Setting the founders aside, you may not agree their pursuit was one of virtue, this is my goal. My alignment with Propertarianism (https://propertarianism.com/) is with its potential to support the pursuit of virtue. For anyone interested in “why” I explore and post much of what I do, creating a structure where a man is free to pursue virtue is that “why”.

If the goal is freedom for all, the inherent demand this creates is the pursuit of virtue by all.

And where our definitions of virtue conflict with each other, meaning reciprocity is not possible, is where I believe we should be seeking separation rather than trying to impose our definitions on each other.Updated Oct 9, 2019, 10:24 PM

@curtdoolittle The state needs to demonstrate that anything it economically touches isn’t poison. Untill that happens? Btc will be the standard by which all others will be measured.
It can generate as much crypto as it likes. It will “suck-in” the naive. But that’s all.
