They are reacting to me now. I’m having an impact. Time to start videos soon. (please) (I need an interviewer. I am not able to pull it off extemporaneously like our canadian friend mr molyneux.)

NEXT PROBLEM TO SOLVE: TABLE OF COMPARATIVE TRUTH

So, now I have to work on comparative “truth” in each civilization, by revisiting huntington and Fukuyama. But today, I’m spending the day with Macdonald again. Because while he has outlined the jewish strategy, I still must outline the anglo, german, and maybe islamic and Chinese strategies. I’d originally intended to tell the tale of the English, German and Jewish ‘cities’ but maybe I have to broaden it?

Or do I just focus on the three important to the west, and give light treatment to the others. Strangely, because I studied chinese history in College, and because its an almost entirely military culture, I understand the Chinese strategy pretty clearly. Islam is fairly easy because it consists so thoroughly of a limited set of principles, tribalism, and inbreeding. I guess, german is the most simple. Because duty is not a hard concept to get across. It’s also martial.

    OVERSING TODAY

Well, I went through my original designs today to look at the remaining scope of work. And … I’m not happy about what I found. lol. Everything is just partway done. And while the framework of the app is there, the amount of work left is just frustratingly large. Yes, I don’t include Commissions, Career Development, Sales, Recruiting, in v1. But if we just look finishing off all the existing features, it’s still a truckload of work. Sure, yes, enhancing features is a lot easier than inventing them.

But it’s still a lot of work. 🙁

    (Biz)(personal)

The team says they will return from cyprus at the end of month.

We covered the social messaging streams today. Three levels: just comments. Plus state changes. Plus everything else. The Ui sees everything but we only display what the user requests or some people would be flooded.

Looks like we might have our analyst. But I need to write up the job requirements.

Still need a pm/analyst to figure out work remaining and save me from getting buried again. Especially use cases for conversion to help.

List all pages (ui elements) so we can add components and track text/help by component.

Need editor / writer to deRussify our text everywhere. Then add help. Then task based help ( and videos). And to develop personas for each so marketing is implicit in the training.

Still need designer. Minor but we do need it. Good overall but not yet elegant.

Must design few UI widgets to improve ui for: time, schedule, approval, like/dislike/promote/demote, personal ratings. Small stuff but I want to be sure its right.

Editing my glossary. Today it’s letter “C”. Class, Culture, Calculation etc. Came across Coercion (which is a common word in my world), and got to work on the Power spectrum: POWER / COERCION / PERSUASION / INFLUENCE / INCENTIVE. Fascinating topic when you combine it with social classes in which each form of coercion produces elites that serve the different social classes. 🙂

The team is working on FB style blocking and banning in Oversing today. Blocking is an individual thing but banning is managed by a configurable vote/based workflow. I havent figured out the weighting of votes yet but I assume it will be managed by your Karma level. In other words, the better your reputation the more influential your vote. Likewise a bunch of douchebags cant ban someone easily,

But for all intents and purposes you and your peers can effectively “fire” someone in Oversing by making it impossible to obtain work.

Anyway, they are using my account to test the feature and its giving me subconsious feelings of rejection every time, and elation when I am forgiven. 😉

So i guess it sorta works. 🙂

    In every chapter I use:

    A Number (of the chapter)

An Image (a symbol – this is hard)

A Title (usually just a term)

A propertarian axis – almost poetic. (Aphoristic poetry perphaps?)

A quote (or poetic excerpt that conveys the simple meaning)

A Statement (an assertion in analytic language)

    An Argument. (the rational argument.)

And after that will follow historical examples (if I ever can get to that part, since it’s not really necessary. I might also just use mythological stories. That might be more meaningful.).

    UPDATE ON PROPERTARIAN ETHICS

“Proof and Calculability” = Ethical Truth in Politics

I got stuck while writing Propertarianism in 2010 on the ethical requirement that at that time I called “Calculability”. I knew it was needed in any contractual government to prevent externalizing costs – if not outright acts of abuse and fraud.

For all intents and purposes, I was forcing contractual and monetary (numeric) constraints into political ethics. But I knew something was ‘wrong’ in verbal constructions as well. Even if strict construction and original intent were known issues, how could I prevent fallacious argument in politics (lying)?

And I just couldn’t get my arms around it. And it’s taken me really, what, three and a half years to solve it with Operationalism? So, instead of one ethical addition called ‘calculability’ which we need to keep, I need to add Operationalism as well (ie: ‘Proof”). I suppose I could work the language a bit and demonstrate that they’re in fact, the same principle applied to calculable and argumentative problems but I think that would only complicate matters. So I’ll keep them separate and overlapping (which is a theme I keep finding myself using.)

So Truth(Testimony) Operationalism(Proof), and Calculability(testability of contract) are the additional properties of political ethics I’ve added to to propertarianism. I am not sure but I think that’s the hardest problem I had to solve in this entire program so far.

    (success story) (oversing performance)

We have tried to construct oversing as a next-generation web application that leaves the sort of ‘page’ metaphor behind, and functions more as a desktop app version of Facebook with sales, career management, project management, accounting reporting. And that is a big risk, because the browser is really designed to show static documents, and the DOM is a pretty weak technology for that. But thanks to the guys’ hard work, and innovations in technology we have finally made this terribly data intensive piece of software have desktop performance on that browser UI.

It’s very fast. Especially when we consider what it’s doing.

And that means that we have solved, I think, the technological hurdles in bringing Oversing to market for v1.
