  • OVERSING UPDATE 1 – New server is up. I seem to be able to build it reliably now

    OVERSING UPDATE

    1 – New server is up.

    I seem to be able to build it reliably now that I’ve removed Phing, and simply use Laravel’s seed and migration features.

    2 – Removed RBC references and replaced with Oversing inc.

    3 – Next I’m going to finish the Market and Talent panels.

    4 – Then it’s onto the financial transactions that I want to add.

    5 – Then invoicing.

    At least that’s what I’m thinking now.

    I keep finding things I want to rewrite but I’m sticking with feature completeness unless it’s blocking me.

    The base class is overloaded as hell. So I’m going to clean that up a bit.

    Not that I had much free time today, but I worked a bit on teaching e-prime and it turns out that everyone who succesfully uses it, learns by the same simple sequence. So I am pretty confident that I can do that.

    eprime forces you to identify the actor and his actions. Next we deal with property-in-toto – which I think is pretty simple.

    Next we improve on property in toto by translating actions into financial language (discount/premium etc).

    Then we get into writing law.

    I don’t think it’s all that hard. It’s just that aspies sort of think in this level of detail anyway. So like when I listen to Vivek Upadhyay I hear my own voice. That’s what it sounds like in my head.

  • Thinking About Future Talks

    ONE HOUR LECTURES ON BASIC PROPERTARIAN CONCEPTS I’m trying to make one every day or two. There are not that many basic concepts. I can think of the easy one: property in toto. That logically follows from my last one on Morality. We have videos on: 1 – division of perception, 2 – morality: objective (decidable across differences), group (evolutionary strategy), individual (reproductive strategy) 3 – cooperation as consolidation of knowledge across perception. division of classes into methods of discourse, 4 – civilizational strategies based upon geography and demographics. 5 – and division of civilizations from America to Russia into a distribution of perception – specialization by civilization. (I might add that america and russia must now parent europa) If I add property, and cover from the origins, then I think those six videos will constitute the equivalent of propertarian ‘social science’. Then I can do institutions 1 – incremental suppression and law 2 – market government 3 – the family 4 – the defensive ‘walls’ (religion(conversion), parasitism (economic), invasion(demographic), and war(violence). Between humans and institutions I should create a series on truth. I know I need to do one on truth and particularly focus on scope and limits. This fascinates me and it’s one of the most important concepts. – honesty and truthfulness. – truth as warranties of due diligence – the defensive ‘walls’ against deception and error – adding the informational commons to protections – strict construction of law Then lastly I should create – demands – method of transition – instructions for insurrection (and I will do that last since I’m gonna get killed for it) Thanks for letting me think out loud.

    We have the choice to sell physical labor, skilled labor, management of labor )auditing), planning and calculating production, organising planning and production, choosing ( hiring ) organisations (financing) organisations of production, organising financing, and creating order itself.

    Of these tasks labor organises physicality and the rest organise men.

We invented sovereignty, and from that we developed western civilization as an extension. As we did so we learned to profit from ‘moral’ rule as a further demonstration of heroism (excellence). This sovereign network of industries vs totalitarian manufacturing plant just ‘calculates’ faster than all other possible human orders, because it produces the fewest friction, and the greatest opportunity to take risks. So we evolved faster than the rest every time we restore our sovereignty, and we slow when we remove it – just like everyone else. Time to restore our sovereignty. Cheers.

    I’m uploading the posts, one year’s worth of posts at a time, to wordpress.com.

    When done I”ll publish the URL.

    I will have to:

    – upgrade the wordpress hosting to business

    – restore the the DNS.

    – simplify and upload the “Propertarianism theme”

    – figure out how to eliminate a lot of the plugins.

    – upload the ‘book’ progress as I get it ready.

    Current Status

    – I’m working on the site on my laptop.

    – too much stress but getting there.

  • SITE STATUS I’m going to move the site to wordpress.com instead of a custom host

    SITE STATUS

    I’m going to move the site to wordpress.com instead of a custom hosted site – I have too many hacking problems. To do that requires a bit of a rewrite since it’s too customized to run on wordpress.com. And it’s also an excuse to change it to book form, with new articles added to specific topics in the book structure. I think this will lessen the pressure on me to release a draft. I haven’t updated the table of contents in over twelve months.

    So the new site will reflect the outline of the book.
