    Maybe no one invented Propertarianism and Testimonialism before, because the central problems they faced were advancement of utility rather than constraint of falsehoods.

    You can see Hibert didn’t understand his own arguments.

    He doesn’t help us expand the knowledge of mathematics, he just tells us how to ensure that we haven’t erred.

    But you know, the 20th century has a lot of pseudoscientific

    If math is no longer correspondent, it is just a language game.

    Or stated, if math is not used in measurement it is just a puzzle, not a problem.

    While I am trying to create rule of law for heterogeneous polities, I am doing so largely by prohibiting falsehoods. The central problem we face today, is the conflict between authoritarian leftism of diverse polities, and egalitarian libertarianism of homogenous polities. Just as the enlightenment problem was one between the authoritarian state-church mysticism, and the egalitarian rational emergent middle classes. Just as the late roman problem was one between the totalitarian christians of the eastern empire, and the egalitarian stoics and pagans of the western empire. Just as between the establishment and the philosophers in athens. This battle seems never to end.

    I have a vision of a future where Testimonialism is so fully integrated into our language, that the transformation from our current language is as monumental the transformations from mystical, to religious, to rational, probabilistic, and to scientific language.

    At that point, no one remembers (or cares about) the invention of Testimonialism and Propertarianism. They live it every day. They care only about the constitution that makes government of a heterogeneous population possible.

    If a man has a reason to not be remembered, I would love to not be remembered for that reason.

    As far as I know, the traditional family is the optimum association of kin for the purpose of reproduction and production.

    As far as I know, only the Absolute nuclear family could evolve total suppression of parasitism.

    As far as I know, nothing prevents the total suppression of parasitism (high trust) while at the same time advocating the traditional family.

    Law must be constructed for individuals, but policy can easily be constructed for families.

    But this means that the quality of one’s family influences one’s life.

    So the underclass want to be free of their family constraints.

    And to parasitically consume the better families as a reproductive strategy: to reduce the competition of good genes, by expanding the production of bad genes.

    As far as I know the only substantive differences between groups are in the distribution of intellectual biases, intellectual capabilities and aggression.

    As far as I know the reason groups defeat other groups is that they increase the rates of reproduction of either their underclasses and expand territorially, or they decrease the rates of reproduction of their underclasses and expand economically and intellectually.

    So we can choose between equalitarian poverty (islam), poverty and castes (india/brazil), hierarchy and totalitarianism (china), or egalitarianism and aristocracy (old northern europe).

    The question is only whether we suppress the rates of reproduction of the underclasses and expand the rates of reproduction of the upper classes.

    MORAL RELATIVITY OR OBJECTIVITY?

    In the presence of necessary operations we are left with moral absolutism, and normative deviation from morality.

    Morality is as absolute as mathematics. Everything else is not morality but competitive strategy: contractual variations. Just as all law is as absolute as mathematics but all legislation contractual variation (or command).

    The conflation of morality with strategy, and law with command is a long-standing problem in rational philosophy.

    The law and morality are identical in content. Group Strategy and Group Contract are merely utilitarian.

    Cooperation evolved after individual survival. For cooperation to be rational it must be mutually beneficial. For it to be mutually beneficial it must be (in the aggregate) non-parasitic.

    We raise our children, demonstrate kin selection with kin, and we cooperate with non-kin, and we compete with those with whom we do not cooperate.

    So:

    Productive

    Fully informed.

    Warrantied.

    Voluntary Transfer

    Free of Negative Externality of the same criteria

    equals

    beneficial cooperation.

    Morality is an absolute. Norms are merely tactics.

    Legislation is not necessarily lawful. Norms are not necessarily moral.

    As such, we can measure whether some cultures are more moral than others, by measuring the degree of suppression of parasitism (free riding) that is suppressed by law and norm.

    So not only is morality absolute, but the relative moral content of different cultures is absolute.

    That this difference determines economic velocity, and economic velocity affords us greater morality (if we choose it) is the more interesting area of inquiry.

    I had a lot of childish fun trolling this pro-Putin site today. 🙂 I am happy to admit it’s childish. I am also happy to admit that it was fun.

    What’s your point? That we shouldn’t hire foreigners? We have a government saturated with people paid off by the Kremlin. That’s why we’re engaging in lustration – to purge them and their pervasive corruption. So we are hiring foreigners to help with lustration.

    Ukraine has decided it is European. Muscovite Russia has decided it is Mongolian. We all retreat to our roots under pressure. There may be 140M Muscovites, but there are 1B+ westerners, 1B+ Chinese, 1B+ Muslims, and 1B+ Hindus. Russians cannot reform. Russians cannot build a diverse economy. Russia cannot join modernity. We understand the choice. However, we do not want to be prisoners of Russia’s bad decisions.

    Russians are foolish. They could have ruled the world. The west wanted them to. Putin was becoming the most influential man in the world. But instead of just saying ‘no democratic revolution here’ they attacked Ukraine, and broke the postwar consensus. All out of fear of spread of democracy.

    We don’t necessarily think democracy and hedonism are good things either. On the other hand, almost anything is better than ongoing Russian despotism and poverty.

    Haven’t Russians harmed eastern Europe enough for one millennium?

    See your technique is a variation of critique: rallying and shaming. the counter to this strategy is to attack obvious and consistent Russian failures while ignoring your responses. Since Russia produces so many obvious and consistent failures this turns out to be easy. Each Troll’s response is an opportunity to repeat key memes. And we repeat the meme’s over and over again by merely riffing off of whatever the trolls manage to desperately say.

    The Russian strategy is to poison the informational commons (the Internet) so that even though only 50% of Russians have access to the internet, they will disregard it as chaotic, and return to state-sponsored media, rather than to learn the truth: that they live like subsaharan Africans in the opposite temperature extreme. And that they are poor only because of the corruption of their leadership, and its failure to create a diverse economy.

    The set of alliances that the kremlin must keep in competition with one another is complex and tenuous. The black market and drugs are controlled by the FSB. The Chechens are more combat effective than the Russian military. The mafia is required to keep order. And 50% of the country is dependent on oil revenues Layers of corruption are difficult to manage.

    The decisions have been made. NATO will arm the east and re-pivot against Russia. The sanctions will continue. During the next opportunity they will arm both Poland and Turkey. Ukraine will isolate the conquered Donbas region, and without federalization the rest of Ukraine will vote consistently for lustration and membership in Europe It will take ten years to clean the bureaucracy of Russians and Russian plants, but it will be done. And right sector will simply kill them if they don’t do it.

    Meanwhile we’re going to be over here laughing at the ongoing collapse of the economy.

    April was what -4.2%? An employer of 70,000 is bankrupt but the state can’t afford to let it go under? The worst that happens to Ukraine is that it’s a better investment than greece. the worst that happens to Russia is that the lowest populated country per square kilometer is incrementally cut off on all sides by peoples who justifiably hate it.

    I mean, what’s china doing? They’re already taking Siberia back. The Muslims are a few years from taking Moscow.

    [W]ell it does really. You can see that everywhere it’s adopted. You will get a better economy. Period. When Christians leave, the economy will get worse. Period. But incentives are incentives are incentives. So non-european countries have serious impediments to high trust.

    1) Authoritarian political orders evolved from dispute resolution such as the irrigation areas of Egypt, Mesopotamia and China. 2) Lack of advanced economies promoting ‘everyone is a customer’ – often in the same places. 4) Diversity and competition too great to overcome. (Levant, Central Asia, Arabia.) 3) Inbreeding and tribal marriage inhibit development of ‘everyone a potential mate, and everyone a potential customer’. 5) Genetic predisposition that evolved under higher selection pressures (group selection rather than individual selection via mating).     If you haven’t noticed, I’ve bought the love thing hook line and sinker. I tell other men I love them on a daily basis. And it’s infectious. We don’t support each other enough.

    Our culture tells us to be stalwart stoic warriors in the germanic tradition. But we no longer have normative means of obtaining positive reinforcement for our actions – thanks largely to feminists.

    So we have to take matters into our own hands. The red pill means not just that we love ourselves, but that we love other men. And tell them so, when they do works in our interest.

    Technically, Propertarianism tells us only to suppress parasitism (free riding/imposed costs). But Aristocratic Egalitarianism tells us to treat with brotherly love, all who engage in abstinence of parasitism, act as sheriff to police it, militia to defend it, and warrior to demand it.

    There is precious little in Propertarianism that was not in Aristocratic Christianity, Mithraism, and the initiatic brotherhood of indo European warriors that led to the construction of the Vedas.

    We are man’s aristocracy.

    Shall we abandon man to immorality?

    Or shall we lead him to universal love and abstinence from parasitism?

    Lets lead.

    They failed.

    We must take back rule.

  • The Relationship Between (Neo)Reaction and Science

    CONSERVATISM -> REACTION -> PROPERTARIANISM (TESTIMONIALISM)

    —“Reaction is foremost about embracing reality. An objective reality exists apart whatever stories men may tell themselves. This reality is harsh and bitter as we live in a fallen world. Reality can be denied temporarily, but will always win in the end.”—

    [I] thought it was a good opportunity to talk about the relationship between Reaction and Science. (a) Reaction is an articulate criticism not a solution, and what solutions Curtis provided are afterthoughts – which is why we never talk about them seriously. (b) Reaction provides a language – a terminology of criticism. Which is good. Not just for signaling one another, but because the terminology provides a consistent argumentative structure for ongoing development of ideas – and leaves behind a cannon of ideas easier to learn and whose meaning is easier to maintain over time. Terms frame arguments. And members of reaction have succeeded in framing the argument. To defeat an idea, we must be able to name it and discuss it. That effort was successful. (c) But Reaction is stated in Continental (moral) and rational philosophical language. Just as the opposition relies upon Continental (moral) and rational philosophical language. It is NOT stated in scientific language free of moral loading and framing, nor is it stated in the Anglo Analytic (scientific) language. It is an argumentatively moral and rational criticism, not a legal, analytic, and scientific alternative. Criticisms are necessary because they motivate us as all good ideology should, but solutions are necessary also, because they can be stated operationally, and put into place operationally, and the rule of law can institutionalize them over long periods of, because they are ‘calculable’ statements rather than ‘interpretable’ statements. (d) The opposition uses pseudoscience. And reaction uses science to counter their pseudoscience – thanks to the revolution started by Pinker. And that corresponds to our history: The Aristocratic Egalitarianism of our European and indo-european ancestors, manorialism as an economic and political system, conservatism as a political philosophy, are each objectively scientific processes (observation, trial, error, and reaction), using the scientific method of cooperation (rule of law, common law, property rights, independent judiciary), (e) Conservatism as an intellectual movement failed, in no small part, because our scientific civilization was still reliant upon the rational moral language of our religious ancestors. Reaction is the first meaningful improvement in conservative (aristocratic) argument in decades. But, ’embracing reality’ is done in the language of correspondence with reality: science and the philosophy of science: analytic philosophy. Science has evolved to become the universal language of truthfulness. In no small part because it is laundered of moral loading, framing, and justification. Morality and Rationalism are allegorical and sentimental technologies. Science and Analytic philosophy are procedural, operational, existential, and unloaded technologies. Morality may be inspiring but science is actionable. I can make a legal contract – a constitution – that is hard to break. But I cannot make a moral analogy that survives the same attacks. (f) The next evolution of reaction must be not one of improving our loading and framing – although that is necessary for moral antagonism that encourages people to take up arms – but one of articulating the revocation of the errors of the enlightenment in actionable, scientific, analytic, and legal terms. These scientific, analytic, LEGAL and therefore AMORAL terms, are not as inspiring as the pervasive moral indignation we can load in continental rationalism. They are not as easy to understand, either. And we will require even more new terms. But they are much more precise tools for the construction of a set of demands for a set of institutions that will restore our ancient scientific civilization to its original direction as the guiding language of mankind.
