  • No. Gold Isn’t Money any Longer

    May 3, 2020, 11:32 AM

    —“GOLD IS MONEY!”–

No. You are confusing unperishability, collateral, commodity, and money. If gold was money it would not be priced in currency (which is liquid). It’s illiquid and volatile for the purpose of commerce and trade – particularly in imputation of prices and organizing production cycles – and that is why it’s not money: the transaction costs are ridiculous. And that’s why gold bugs want to sell it: to profit from the transaction costs of selling a commodity that is barely consumable but universally valuable by virtue of it’s demand, scarcity, unperishability, by false promise, fear, and doubt to suckers who feel out of control of their lives and the societies and their polities, and are desperate for psychological sedation by some sense of security – despite the fact that between purchase price and sale costs, they lose at least ten percent of its value, and the vaunted collapse never comes – because it can’t come under fiat currency targeted to maintaining price-inflation stability. Which is why we use fiat currency instead of gold: (a) we can maintain stability, (b) which increases the duration of the hierarchy and network of complex production cycles, (c) which decreases costs, and (d) continuously expands the sustainable networks of production and trade. (e) and gold isn’t insurable on deposit, and can’t be used as credit money in fractional reserve, so the price of credit would skyrocket. Gold is free to circulate. People don’t do it because THERE ISN’T ENOUGH OF IT. It’s possible to use gold as a backing for a physical currency money, but not for credit money. Almost every cent in circulation is credit money not money. So, the way we solve this problem is the way we do today: buy silver and gold as a hedge against volatility in the currency and use currency as a hedge against the volatility of the precious metals.

  • Metaphysics vs Paradigms: The Lesson.

    May 3, 2020, 12:47 PM

    1. Language consists of measurements organized into transactions and sets of transactions. We cannot speak in anything other than measurements of sense-perception-auto-association.
    2. We refer to each internally consistent system of measurement as “metaphysics” if we are using platonic (imaginary) vocabulary, and “paradigm” if we are using the descriptive (existential) language paradigm.
    3. Metaphysics = Language Paradigm = Internal Constant relations independent of external correspondence, operational possibility, rational choice, reciprocity, limits, scope, accounting, warrantability, competitive surval.

    4. Description = Language Paradigm consisting of Realism, Naturalism, Operationalism, internal consistency, external correspondence, operational possibility, rational choice, reciprocity, limits, scope, accounting, warrantability, competitive surval.

    5. Narratives create imaginary world models that assist us in calculating by the most primitive means available to us: empathy, sympathy, and imitation. Archetypes personify instincts. Plots are formulae which teach us the consequences of following our instincts in in different conditions in the pursuit of ends – and most parables teach us the crime of either hubris or cowardice or laziness.

    6. We learn in generations of cognitive development from fairy tales to myths and legends, to heroic histories, to norms, manners, ethics morals, and traditions, to the dance of mating an family, to the various sciences, to the multitude of skills we use to apply them. Each of these generations requires greater agency and agency greater ability. Likewise we have theology, philosophy and the sciences. Likewise we have imitative, rule based, and outcome based ethics. Likewise we have an age of choice, age of consent, age of maturity, and age of political influence.

    7. There is only one most parsimonious system of measurement of physical, natural, and evolutionary laws of action. That language is what we call the formal(logical), physical(non-sentient), and social (sentient, action) sciences.

    8. That most parsimonious system of measurement of physical, natural and evolutionary laws of action, cannot capture the sense, perception, and associative experience. It can only EXPLAIN the experiential and associative to prevent ERROR and DECEIT by the experiential and associative.

    9. All other systems of measurement vary from that most parsimonious paradigm. Each variation from that most parsimonious paradigm produces costly consequences for the individual, those who associate with the individual, the society that is affected by them, and the polity that includes them, and under some conditions the world.

    10. People have explicable incentives for a) varying from that most parsimonious paradigm. b) choosing a fictional narrative (parables, stories, networks of parables and stories (mythologies), as means of decision (choice) making. c) habituating the degree of separation of conflation the parsimonious paradigm (real unknown), experienced (real known) from the fictional paradigm (imagined).

    11. Our brains develop our minds in a predictable hierarchy from the sensory to the physical to the interpersonal to the rational, and the impulsive, normative, and considered, at varying rates. The degree of ‘friction’ due to developmental failures in our ability to learn each step in that hierarchy determines the degree of complexity we use for our ‘resting state’. Some of us more sensory, some more physical, some more imaginary, some more social, and some more rational resting states (our normal). And we are more or less able to express agency, or vulnerable to sedation givne our lack of agency dependent upon that resting state.

    12. We are all subject to involuntary defect (psychosis, schizophrenia), voluntary defect (sedatives, psychedelics stimulants) invent and construct addiction to because cognitive agency is costly in the face of uncertainty, amplified by one’s failures to reduce costs of calculating successful actions, amplified by one’s failures of prediction of outcomes, amplified by one’s competitive failures in the familial, social, economic and political marketplaces, and by amplified others rejection and low status in those marketplaces. The solution of course is to lower one’s demands to suit one’s market value (epicureanism), and to learn to insulate one’s self from market pressures (stoicism, buddhism, christianity). The problem being that most of us maintain biological demand for social interaction and membership so that we seek means of sedation by escape, psychological construction, social construction, or changing our social circumstance, or improving our agency and market value so that we are more competitive.

    13. We differ in cognitive ability, meaning we differ in the dependence upon a) physical sense-perception and auto association b) intuitionistic auto-associative valuation and subsequent emotional response c) prediction of social (empathic/short/interpersonal) and physical (physical/long/political) permutations, d) regulation of those predictions by direction of attention to differing predicted experiences and states, e) agency in selecting which of those regulated predictions we will permute upon in order to produce a desired outcome, f) skill in calculating (imputing, calculating and computing) the means of achieving those ends. Ergo we differ in demand for mindfulness (relief from competitive pressures), and our means of obtaining mindfulness.

    14. The difference in individual family, class, and group ability is not superiority but accumulated defects due to genetic load due to survival of defects under monogamy, familism, pastoralism, agrarianism, industrialism, and lack of selection pressures, combined competing with those who continuously suppress genetic load by continuous selection pressure, which produces evolution of neotonic maturity, rational agency, and calculative ability as a consequence.

    15. We have however discovered the genes for improving heart, muscle, lungs, and remove defects from liver, kidney, and stomach. So it is possible in the future to both add innovations and remove defects. Even if man’s continues dysgenic reproduction means we cannot control negative selection pressures (increasing genetic load) we can still speciate with elites by selective breeding (classes) and by selective genetic manipulation (positive eugenics).

    16. There is no false equivalency. There is the most parsimonous science(calculation)(action) and fiction (theorizing) (imagination) and metaphysical (conflation and deceit). There is no extant metaphysical – only the imaginary. There is but most parsimonious – the truth – the rest is different degree of error, bias, wishfulthinking and deceit.

17 If that experience is unorganized the psychotic (rational ), schizophrenic(social), or psychedelic (experiential). If organized the fictional(fictions). if locally ritualized the cult. If socially constructed the religion. if chemically induced: the drug addiction. These are all imaginary. These are all addictions. They are all falsehoods. They are all admissions of failure. Instead there is the fictional, the historical, the wisdom literature of the centuries, and the sciences whether formal, physical(physics, chemistry, biology), or sentient (language, psychology, sociology).

    1. Metaphysics = Addicts. Just addicts. Nothing more. We need only determine the reason for the addiction, and the method of addiction, but these are addictions, and addicts ‘disposable’ at best, and ‘cancer’ at worst.

    2. There is every good reason to either remove addicts from public discourse and influence, on one hand, and to follow Duerte if they get out of hand on the other. This is what houses of government by demonstrated achievement accomplish, and what prohibition on addictions prevents from influencing those houses.

    3. Addicts will stop at nothing to justify their addiction. They will export the costs of their addiction. To the limit of the adult tolerance for bearing the costs of it.

At present we need to imitate duterte and clean house.

  • Our Need: Reducing the Canon of The West to A Bible: The Law Beyond Which None May Tread

May 3, 2020, 3:20 PM (From OCT 2019) (updated) The west never had a single bible, but a canon, and that canon was written in multiple frames although the spectrum of scientific, legal, philosophical, normative, literary, and theological. Philosophy, theology, tradition, are just narratives that explain a group strategy in a grammar of wishes. Law is the evidence of what actually occurs, not what is wished for. While we traditionally had rule of law beyond which no leader may tread, we allowed liberalism (even classical liberalism) to violate that traditional law under the presumption that while the monarchy needed be constrained by law, we the people were somehow so special and virtuous we need not be. Our British Ancestors, Our Founding Fathers, through generations of the English civil wars, sought to reduce that canon to constitution. But they lacked the skill we developed in the 20th because under programming, the sciences, and the collapse of the philosophical program (yes). They were successful despite those weaknesses as long as the heroic narrative of the revolution persisted, or what the founders said was dependent upon the moral teachings of the church. The failure of the church to reform in the face of Darwin and the sciences, the replacement of the church with the academy, the capture of the academy by the immoral left, combined with Anti-whiteness, under guise of privilege, colonialism, and slavery (not unique to whites at all) provided the means of undermining that narrative, by taking advantage of our our christian virtue, our market tolerance, our false claim that man was oppressed rather than domesticated by the aristocracy and markets, and our false presumption that we could create an aristocracy of everyone if they were but given the chance. We dragged them out of their failed cultures, failed religions, failed institutions, failed governments, and failed civilizations. We dragged them kicking and screaming out of superstition, ignorance, hard labor, poverty, starvation, disease, suffering, child mortality, early death, and the chaos of a hostile nature. And They hate us for it. They work daily to destroy us. They seek to bring their failures to us, not our successes to them. We gave them that chance. And they failed. They failed because are unfit, unwilling, or unable, and undeserving. And they are destroying the monument to mankind that we have made. So we must complete the Greco-roman-germanic-anglo-American research program and produce that bible in the form of a constitution such that no narrative can undermine it, without causing our retaliation. We need to create the white law – a rational, scientific, western competitor to Jewish law and Muslim sharia. A strict construction from our founding differences: sovereignty and reciprocity, truth and duty, judge and jury, heroism and excellence, family and commons, and the market for voluntary cooperation in all walks of life – that together produce the social political and economic order most rapidly open to adaptation and innovation. We need a constitution and a law closed to interpretation open to innovation, but beyond which no man, private, public, or foreign may tread. And we need to enforce it intolerantly, unforgivingly, and mercilessly, as our ancestors defended themselves by the same means. Heroism and excellence, The universal militia, Sovereignty, Reciprocity, Truth, and Duty, Judge and Jury, and markets in all aspects of life: association, cooperation, production, reproduction, commons, polities, and war. That is the secret to western civilization. Sovereignty. And it is our law beyond which none may tread.

  • It’s Genetic. That’s the Science. the Leftists Set Off Our Disgust Response

May 3, 2020, 4:59 PM [S]o they set off our disloyalty, disease, parasite, impurity, disgust, and perversion response? Right? Well. Then it’s easy: state the truth: “We don’t disagree with you so much as find you dishonest, disloyal, disgusting, and perverted. And we don’t want to live, socialize, work, or govern with you, or tolerate your presence among our families now or at any time in the future. So we can agree to separate and you can pay the costs of your perversions, and we profit from our avoidance of them, or we can go to war, and if we win we’ll make you compensate us for failing to accepting our offer of peaceful separation – and it will be costly.” That ends the conversation.

  • It’s Our Duty to Protect Those Victimized by Baiting Into Hazard

May 3, 2020, 5:51 PM by Scott De Warren [N]oblesse oblige. Yes, ironically, It is our duty to protect our people, especially the majority that lack agency and the discernment to detect the enemy’s propaganda that baits them into hazard (and pulls the rest of us down with them). The irony is that these, our own people, constantly betray us by siding with the enemy. In England, France, and even America our people were encouraged to rebel against their king and aristocracy – often on the thinnest of pretexts. In the American revolution, for ex., Samuel Adams organized the rough dock workers to attack the upper classes and destroy their fine houses over what was essentially a 1% tax imposed by Britain on legal papers. Now the descendants of those dockworkers pay 50% taxes without blinking. Yet they will still rail against kings and aristocrats – the ones that taxed them 1% to protect them militarily while praising foreign hostiles that tax them 50% while taking way their borders, liberties, and that sponsor third world invasions because it is all sold as ‘democratic’. No, the people will be protected from such lies going forward by making the liars answerable in a court of law.

  • The Cause of Hierarchy and State

May 3, 2020, 6:58 PM [M]an desires consumption, consumption is increased by opportunity, and opportunity is increased by liberty, but so is irresponsibility. And so is free riding, parasitism, fraud, crime, immigration, conversion, conquest, and genocide. The state evolved to incrementally suppress local parasitism decreasing local transaction costs, in exchange for paying taxes to pay the cost of decreasing local transaction costs. This made markets possible where only primitive trade previously existed. Man is amoral by nature, and pragmatic. By the institution of parenting, acculturation, indoctrination, training, laws, restitution, punishment, and prevention we invest in his domestication. Man develops theology, philosophy, ideologies, rationalizations, myths, fantasies, and various other forms of frauds, to attempt to obscure and justify his free riding, parasitism, fraud, crime, and organized crime. In order to produce the suppression of free riding, parasitism, fraud, crime, and organized crime, requires a power law of institutions of prevention, investigation, dispute resolution, prosecution, restitution, punishment and prevention. In order to produce a market requires a pareto distribution of assets, so that the organization of networks in an market can produce a complex division of labor and its returns without which the terms freedom and liberty have no meaning. In order to produce a society that tolerates market competition and the suppression of free riding, parasitism, fraud, crime, and organized crime, requires the resulting distribution of rewards satisfy a marginal nash equilibrium. Given three possible means of coercion: force-defense (Military-police, government), trade-boycott(commerce-law), and advocacy+insurance-undermining+ostracization(social,education,religion), elites will combine to use and misuse these skills in a competition. Given that Man varies greatly from barely human to superhuman in physical, social, and intellectual ability, and sexual, social, economic, political, and military value, and given the power, pareto, and nash necessities of distributions, man will sort by value to others by his value in those markets – producing networks of competing and overlapping hierarchies that we call sexual, social, economic, and political class. As such, rule of law and the independent judiciary provide a market for the suppression of criminality by not only individuals and groups of individuals, but elites in all three dimensions of elites, such that sovereignty, liberty and freedom are maintained DESPITE the presence of necessary hierarchies.
