    IMPORTANT: WHY DO CENTRAL BANKS USE INTERMEDIARIES? —“Question: why do central banks continue to do stimulus through intermediaries like banks when they can wire the money directly to consumers? Eg. by issuing them with prepaid cards to spend?”— Ayelam I am not an econometrician but I suspect I’ll hold my own against any living econometric economist on this subject: The answer consists of the following components: (1) The distribution of physical money through the banks was a necessity. (2 )There was no other distribution channel available until perhaps 20 years ago at the earliest. (I remember how hard it was to get people to use credit cards). (3) Digital money is actually not a very old technology and we have just recently begun to understand it.Governments move very slowly and this will disrupt the entire economy in (good) ways that will totally fuck the institutional investors that fund DC campaigns with ill-gotten gains unearned, since they merely distribute a costless good to the highest bidder for a commission. They are auctioneers. That is all. (4) The banker/crediting agency investigates the probability and insures the probability that the debt will be repaid. This INSURER function is actually what bankers do: insure the shareholders (citizens) that their fiat money (shares) are used judiciously. This argument has increasingly become specious because we have such accurate actuarial data now that we can predict the performance of a bucket of consumers with nearly perfect accuracy. 4A) It benefits the various rent seekers and politicians if all fiscal(spending) stimulus to the economy is provided by government to government suppliers just as all monetary stimulus is distributed through the financial sectors. What would happen to the construction of high cost government projects when consumers were able to say “but I could have used that money here at home?”. (5) There is a (mistaken) belief that the time value of productivity for the purpose of consumption (consumer income) needs interest for calculation purposes just as business and industry need interest for economic calculation purposes. This is a long conversation but I don’t see how consumption is any kind of entrepreneurial risk. it’s the cause of entrepreneurial risk. (6) The very idea was kind of poisoned by the MMT crowd. Particularly – we do not know the impact it would have on interest rates. And at present interest rates are the metric that the world uses to control the ‘price’ of money(which is not driven by cost of production), by regulating its ‘manufacture’ by states. Without interest rates we need another measure. This measure has been in dispute for many years, with some favoring some sort of purchasing power metric, and others favoring some productivity metric, and others some ‘growth’ metric. But if money loses its intertemporal predictability then economic calculation of contracts over any period of time increases and with that, the cost of all production, and therefore all prices, increases rapidly. (remember that money = influence that saves time and is therefore a store of time-in-production. Fiat money issued as credit money is a risk that the time will be more than saved over the interim period. (7) The moral hazard of distributing directly to consumers is frightening because unlike market activity, where people blame employers and the economy when activity shrinks and so does their income, we are fearful that people will change from living paycheck to variable paycheck, to living from monetary distribution to monetary distribution but retaliate politically against the government in the case of shrinking. Thereby all but making total communism a deterministic outcome – which is why some of the left advocate for it. (8) With the advent of leftist influence on the judiciary, it is no longer a social science bound by natural laws. So we have no means of putting such a policy into the constitution such that it’s immutable. Thereby eliminating the hazards articulated above. (9) I was nobody in 2008-2009 when I was talking about it, but as far as I know Galbraith was the only mainstream guy who articulated this problem correctly, and he correctly advocated the direct payment of mortgage debt. It would have price stabilized the world economy. But it would have fucked (undeserving) institutional debt-holders the same way greek debt holders were fucked. (His death was untimely) And conservatives (wrongly) thought it created a moral hazard (which would have been solved by giving people credit lines who had acted properly, and credit lines to those people over the next x years who were able to buy a house. ) I’ve also recommended limiting mortgages to 15 years in order to limit this problem further. Why? all increases in salary are eventually absorbed by housing prices and redistributed to long term property holders (indirect retirement savings accounts ). (10) So net net, we can buy or nationalize the ( worst )credit card company (mastercard), and distribute liquidity directly to consumers, as long as we put constitutional safeguards in place, and as long as the amount is dependent upon the overall economy. And let industry and business determine the interest rate, which should drop dramaticlaly if we reidstribute to consumers. Because the truth is that fiat currency is such an advantage that a people cannot compete without it. Competing currencies and commodities exist but they are not anywhere near as price stabilized as fiat money CAN be. So we are always going to have it. Probably digital will replace it and it will have to because the abuse of it has gotten out of hand. What real purpose does government debt serve over simply printing money and paying with it? You pay the price of interest in order to delay the equilibrial neutrality of money working through the economy. In other words, the faster new money moves the faster prices in the existing cycle of production adjust. Fast adjustment is bad if it interferes with production ( planning ) cycles. So instead we pay interest and sell government debt so that we inflate away the interest at about the same rate that prices adjust in the economy. If you understand it, then it seems ridiculous. A clever network of lies not really different from religion.

(Mysticism/Judaism/Christianity/Islam = ‘Critique/gossip’ or ‘fantasy worlds’ or ‘utopias’) – The world is hostile and I can only control how I respond to it (Buddhism = Disengagement) – The world of man is chaos but we can create harmony, and I must learn to live in harmony with it (Confucianism = Historicism) – The world is vast and I can only control and be responsible for what I have the ability to control and be responsible for. (Stoicism = Natural Law) – The purpose of my existence is to alter the world for the better having existed in it. (Heroism = Technology) ASSUMPTIONS ARE EVOLUTIONARY STRATEGIES We are (genetically, behaviorally, materially) more or less desirable to others in our capacity as children, kin, mates, friends, allies, leaders, rulers. We call this our ‘class’: Genetic, Occupational, Economic, Social. All of which overlap except for the outliers. . STRATEGIES ARE GOOD(LIBERATING) AND BAD(IMPRISONING), NOT MERELY DIFFERENCES IN PREFERENCES So some strategies will lead you into dysgenia, ignorance, decline, poverty and illness (ISLAM). And some strategies will lead you into slow evolution (Confucius), and some strategies will provide you with eugenics and rapid evolution (Western Aristocratic Egalitarianism “Aryanism”, Middle-Class Rule of Law, Working Class Stoicism, Underclass Christianity.) WESTERN PHILOSOPHY (HEROISM, LAW[natural empirical], TECHNOLOGY[science], REFLECTS CLASSES (just as Confucius vs Lao Tzu, just as Brahmins vs the Underclasses) Westerners do not engage in institutional conflation. THIS PROVIDES SPECIALIZATION IN EACH TYPE OF ARGUMENT, INSTITUTION It allows us to specialize in each without sacrificing each out of pragmatic necessity given the diverse abilities of each class (or rather lack of abilities of each class). THE PROBLEM IS THAT WE HAVE NOT (UNTIL NOW) HAD A UNIVERSAL COMMENSURABLE LANGUAGE ACROSS INSTITUTIONS AND ARGUMENT TYPES. While we have had MONEY to make commensurable good and services across all specializations While we have had NATURAL LAW to make conflict commensurable across all specializations. Law coerces man by force. Science, technology, engineering, craftsmanship, and labor specialize in transformation (coercing the universe rather than coercing man). Women specialize in the organization of reproduction, care, and caretaking. They need no ‘religion’ except to confirm the intuitions that they are born with. Festivals, Philosophy, Soldiery are for men. And Religion, Feasts, and caretaking are for women. Not that we cannot preclude one or the other. But this explains the kind of information system (philosophy) we are attracted to: one that justifies our genetic predispositions. SO PHILOSOPHERS FAILED IN THE 20TH CENTURY 1 – Philosophers tried to make the discipline a SPECIALTY rather than a language of commensurability. (The continued investigation into Truth, since all the other specializations had broken off into sciences,) 2 – Philosophers tried to create a second set of lies, this time with pseudorationalism, and pseudoscience (the cosmopolitans:Boaz, Marx, Freud, Cantor, Adorno; Rand/Rothbard; and the Puritans: French, and American literary Postmodernists; And the secular Christians Rawls-and-too-many-others-to-list. ) 3 – Philosophers failed to solve the problem of the social sciences (cooperation) and instead used a multitude of deceptions and obscurantisms in order to justify authoritarianism(non-cooperation). This exposes most philosophers as theologians in secular rhetorical garb. PHILOSOPHERS EITHER ENGAGE IN THE INVESTIGATION OF TRUTH, THE ARTICULATION OF POSSIBILITY, OR THE CREATION OF A FICTION, OR THE CREATION OF DECEIT. Philosophers have a very poor record in history. Despite so many, it is largely those who struggle to discover empiricism and its offspring ‘testimony’ that have contributed to man. The rationalists are almost universally reducible to excuse makers, and those who attempt to create a rational literature with which to replace biblical literature of mysticism. Many people who enjoy philosophy are far closer to recreational readers of science fiction and fantasy with which to escape the effort of truth seeking in reality, than inquisitors into truth from which we may construct solutions. We can discover which of these a person is: recreational literature, seeker of a particular solution, or investigator of truth with very few questions and very little difficulty. Whenever we do not argue in favor of truth we merely deprive Man of the knowledge he needs to invent institutions of cooperation that assist us in cooperating in the real world. We can use the truth to identify possibilities, or we can deny the truth and create possibilities that require lies (religions) incompatible with reality. We can create deceptions with which to destroy truth or obscure it. It is quite easy in retrospect to determine which philosophers have done so. PHILOSOPHERS AS PROFITEERS ON THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION In other words, philosophers sought a market into which to sell their ideas for profit or coercion, not truth, regardless of profit or coercion. ROLE OF PHILOSOPHY? 1) Investigate and Prosecute Falsehoods And Their Advocates 2) Incorporate the findings of the sciences such that discover superior truths to those we use today. 3) Discover new possibilities having incorporated the findings of the sciences. 4) Articulate metaphysical representations, Reorganize Concepts, Properties, and Relations, Re-weight Values, and provide new criteria of Decidability. IS THERE A SPACE FOR LIARS? No. There is a space for parables. But liars, particularly philosophical liars, should be prosecuted like any other liar that creates a hazard in the commons. Most philosophers function akin to tiger traps baited with words and are completely unaccountable for the tragedy and death that they have caused. I am a philosopher. As such, a prosecutor. Anything that survives prosecution, and which I am willing to warranty with my life, is worthy of publication into the commons. If either of those conditions fails, then I should be punished for it. Why should philosophers have greater permissiveness than the manufacturers of ladders, and the brewers of coffee, or the makers of drugs? They shouldn’t.     I follow a general rule that if I speak in ideal types (concepts) and I cannot position an argument or idea on a spectrum (define its limits) then I do not know what I am talking about, and will unknowingly engage in conflation and imprecision from which no deduction is possible, since each attempt merely amplifies errors of conflation. Yet this is precisely what men do, because most men do not seek to discover uncomfortable (expensive) truth (requiring adaptation) but to justify a utilitarian falsehood (limit costs of adaptation).

    PHILOSOPHY = CHOICE/PREFERENCE + DECIDABILITY/NECESSITY

    Any Philosophical Framework, no matter which argumentative method is used to construct it (myth, parable, rationalism, pseudoscience, law, or science) must supply the following in order to produce a change in state of the human mind:

    1 – Metaphysical value judgment as to man’s relation with reality (usually if not always unstated).

    2 – A set of Concepts, Properties, and Relations,

    3 – Values for those Concepts and Relations,

    4 – Decidability from those concepts, properties, relations, and values.

    And in that metaphysical value judgment, and by the means of arguing in favor of it, do we find the differences between civilizations, religions, and philosophies.

    METAPHYSICAL ASSUMPTIONS

    – The world is uncontrollable(or evil) and I must escape from it. (Mysticism/Judaism/Christianity/Islam = ‘Critique/gossip’ or ‘fantasy worlds’ or ‘utopias’)

    – The world is hostile and I can only control how I respond to it (Buddhism = Disengagement)

    – The world of man is chaos but we can create harmony, and I must learn to live in harmony with it (Confucianism = Historicism)

    – The world is vast and I can only control and be responsible for what I have the ability to control and be responsible for. (Stoicism = Natural Law)

    – The purpose of my existence is to alter the world for the better having existed in it. (Heroism = Technology)

    ASSUMPTIONS ARE EVOLUTIONARY STRATEGIES

    We are (genetically, behaviorally, materially) more or less desirable to others in our capacity as children, kin, mates, friends, allies, leaders, rulers. We call this our ‘class’: Genetic, Occupational, Economic, Social. All of which overlap except for the outliers.

    STRATEGIES ARE GOOD(LIBERATING) AND BAD(IMPRISONING), NOT MERELY DIFFERENCES IN PREFERENCES

    So some strategies will lead you into dysgenia, ignorance, decline, poverty and illness (ISLAM). And some strategies will lead you into slow evolution (Confucius), and some strategies will provide you with eugenics and rapid evolution (Western Aristocratic Egalitarianism “Aryanism”, Middle-Class Rule of Law, Working Class Stoicism, Underclass Christianity.)

    WESTERN PHILOSOPHY (HEROISM, LAW[natural empirical], TECHNOLOGY[science], REFLECTS CLASSES

    (just as Confucius vs Lao Tzu, just as Brahmins vs the Underclasses) Westerners do not engage in institutional conflation. We separate mythic literature(heroism), religion(sanctity), festival/celebration/sport, education, law, science. And we either produce a subset of each for each class, or we emphasize one or another in each class. In other words, we produce conceptual products for various markets (upper, professional, middle, working, lower, under). And because none has any real power via conflation of argument or institution, this market remains: a competition between philosophies (methods of decidability).

    WESTERNERS USE DECONFLATED INSTITUTIONS AND ARGUMENTS: SPECIALIZATION NOT UNIFORMITY

    This ‘deconflated market’ model is profoundly important when comparing the west to other ‘conflationary monopoly’ civilizations and cultures.

    THIS PROVIDES SPECIALIZATION IN EACH TYPE OF ARGUMENT, INSTITUTION

    It allows us to specialize in each without sacrificing each out of pragmatic necessity given the diverse abilities of each class (or rather lack of abilities of each class).

    THE PROBLEM IS THAT WE HAVE NOT (UNTIL NOW) HAD A UNIVERSAL COMMENSURABLE LANGUAGE ACROSS INSTITUTIONS AND ARGUMENT TYPES.

    PHILOSOPHY IS LARGELY PRACTICED AS A MIDDLE CLASS AND UPPER MIDDLE-CLASS METHOD OF INFLUENCING THE RULING CLASS (STATUS QUO).

    Religion is largely practiced as a lower class means of resisting the ruling class (status quo). Religion coerces man by resistance.

    Credit and Trade are practiced as a means of rule by the economic class within the limits fo the religious and legal classes. Finance, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Calculative, Managerial, administrative specialize in organization of production

    Law is largely practiced as a means of administrative rule by the ruling class, by employing the professional class, just as war is practiced as a means of territorial rule by the ruling class by employing the working, and underclasses. Law coerces man by force.

    Science, technology, engineering, craftsmanship, and labor specialize in transformation (coercing the universe rather than coercing man).

    Women specialize in the organization of reproduction, care, and caretaking. They need no ‘religion’ except to confirm the intuitions that they are born with. Festivals, Philosophy, Soldiery are for men. And Religion, Feasts, and caretaking are for women. Not that we cannot preclude one or the other. But this explains the kind of information system (philosophy) we are attracted to: one that justifies our genetic predispositions.

    SO PHILOSOPHERS FAILED IN THE 20TH CENTURY

    1 – Philosophers tried to make the discipline a SPECIALTY rather than a language of commensurability. (The continued investigation into Truth, since all the other specializations had broken off into sciences,)

    2 – Philosophers tried to create a second set of lies, this time with pseudorationalism, and pseudoscience (the cosmopolitans:Boaz, Marx, Freud, Cantor, Adorno; Rand/Rothbard; and the Puritans: French, and American literary Postmodernists; And the secular Christians Rawls-and-too-many-others-to-list. )

    3 – Philosophers failed to solve the problem of the social sciences (cooperation) and instead used a multitude of deceptions and obscurantisms in order to justify authoritarianism(non-cooperation). This exposes most philosophers as theologians in secular rhetorical garb.

    PHILOSOPHERS EITHER ENGAGE IN THE INVESTIGATION OF TRUTH, THE ARTICULATION OF POSSIBILITY, OR THE CREATION OF A FICTION, OR THE CREATION OF DECEIT.

    Philosophers have a very poor record in history. Despite so many, it is largely those who struggle to discover empiricism and its offspring ‘testimony’ that have contributed to man. The rationalists are almost universally reducible to excuse makers, and those who attempt to create a rational literature with which to replace biblical literature of mysticism.

    Many people who enjoy philosophy are far closer to recreational readers of science fiction and fantasy with which to escape the effort of truth seeking in reality, than inquisitors into truth from which we may construct solutions. We can discover which of these a person is: recreational literature, seeker of a particular solution, or investigator of truth with very few questions and very little difficulty.

    Whenever we do not argue in favor of truth we merely deprive Man of the knowledge he needs to invent institutions of cooperation that assist us in cooperating in the real world.

    We can use the truth to identify possibilities, or we can deny the truth and create possibilities that require lies (religions) incompatible with reality.

    We can create deceptions with which to destroy truth or obscure it.

    It is quite easy in retrospect to determine which philosophers have done so.

    (very very very important post) Well we can clarify what these terms CAN mean, by stating them analytically and operationally: Apriorism: Given parsimonious enough premises (assertions), one can form hypotheses via free association, abduction, induction, or loose deduction, and some of these hypotheses will be either impossible or extremely difficult to imagine can be false. Argument-to-apriorism relies upon cognitive testing alone – and primarily non-contradiction. And we call this form of argument ‘justification’, meaning ‘here is why I think this’, and if we are lucky, ‘here is why this can’t be false’. Empiricism: Given any hypothesis we construct by free association, by whatever means, and given the human tendency for error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience, and deceit, we must record our observations as some form of constant measurement (correspondence) such that we can use them to attempt to eliminate the human tendency for error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience and deceit. How we use apriorism: for creating rules of thumb inexpensively and thereby eliminating the cost of expensive testing. How we use empiricism: to collect information that exceeds our ability to perceive, and reduce it to constant measures (correspondence) so that we can both test our sense perception, and expand our sense perception, and thereby invent new hypothesis, theories, and law. So empiricism extends the perception of our imaginings and can be used to determine if they survive negative testing (criticism). How we use praxeology: In matters of the social sciences, if we cannot explain empirically observed phenomenon as the consequence of a sequence of rational actions given the knowledge at the actors’ disposal, then we know it cannot be true. Whereas if we can construct a sequence of rational actions that explain the incentives we know it may be possible. True (perfectly parsimonious causality) and possible (what we call ‘proofs’) differ in that true statements provide us with causal identity, and proof provides us with possibility if not identity. Unlike human actions, we cannot yet test the first principles of the physical universe other than by what we call determinism or the laws of thermodynamics in their various forms. This is why mathematics helps us. Because the universe is perfectly parsimonious and so is mathematics so while we may now know how to construct the universe from first principles like we do social phenomenon, we can still eliminate candidates that do not ‘balance’ (deterministically.) So there is one possible epistemological method available to man: free association, hypothesis, theory, and law. But it is not the justification of (means of arriving at) our assertions that provide the truth content – it is the ability of these assertions to survive attempts at falsification. It is not apriorism that provides truth content, but the fact that however, we arrive at such a hypothesis, that we cannot refute it. It is not the empirical measurement of events and the hypotheses we draw from these measurements of events, but the fact that the hypothesis that we draw from these measurements of events survives attempts to falsify it. And this is in fact how the human mind(brain) works: search for a pattern, then see if it survives the search for anti-patterns. The reasons ‘Austrians’ (that are not Austrians in the slightest – they’re Poles and Ukrainians and Jews from regions under Austro-Hungarian Rule, polish rule, Lithuanian rule, and Russian rule at some different points in history) are able to make their nonsense arguments is by creating straw men out of empiricism and positivism, by casting the ‘negative criticism’ of empiricism as a competitor to the ‘positive construction’ of justificationism. Yet justificationism does not provide us with truth propositions, only hypotheses, and it is our rational testing of these hypotheses that tells us they are truth candidates. And in some reductio cases, that they cannot be otherwise. And the reason that even non-stupid people are fooled by this “bullshit” ‘polish-Ukrainian-Jewish’ pseudoscience, is because while they know how moral and legal actions are justified – they do it every day and instinctually, they do not know how science is actually practiced: as a warranty of due diligence. Or how math is actually practiced: as a warranty of possibility. Neither science or mathematics makes truth claims. Science makes claims of falsification (we cannot figure out how to make this false), and Mathematics makes claims of proof: (we can prove that this statement is possible to construct by this sequence of mathematical operations.) Now we easily see where this pseudoscience came from: a long history of scriptural law that had to be taken as ‘right’ in order to preserve group cohesion (or more accurately, suppressing defections). Scripture, Law, and Morality are constructed on justificationary operations because scriptural, legal, and moral contracts are constructed on justificationary operations: “I can do this because it these rules say I can do this for these reasons”. Or the more primitive way-finding that humans use ” you make this occur by following this recipe”, “you arrive at this destination by following these directions”, or even more primitively “this sequence of actions got me fed last time, and so I will repeat it as a conservation of energy”. But truth is an expensive search process while justification is a cheap one. It is natural that we would do what we were familiar with, and what was cheap, and what preserved in-group loyalty (suppression of defection), We can say the difference between justificationism/construction and criticism/survival simply as ‘justificationism (or apriorism) is an excuse for why I say something, and survival from criticism is evidence that I cannot find anything better to say’. Mises (and his far less intellectually sophisticated yet far more prolific follower Rothbard) construct an elaborate straw man arguing against a framework that does not exist and is not practiced. They do not come from a scientific tradition but from a religio-legal tradition. Not from an empirical tradition but from a scriptural contractual tradition. not from a martial tradition where error is unforgiving and results in death but from a religio-contractual tradition where error presents opportunity for exploitation. Apriorism provides a means of generalizing and hypothesizing. Praxeology and empiricism provide means of criticizing – and through that criticism generating new hypotheses from the new knowledge gained. The fact that we may discover useful theories by common sense does not differ whether we use measurements or not. Science consists of a series of operations under which we guaranty that we have eliminated error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience, and deceit from our assertions. It provides us with a warranty of due diligence. And why is that so important? Because the only existentially possible ‘truth proposition’ is your promise that you have performed due diligence before making your testimony. All other ‘truth’ propositions are not, in fact, true, but only true by loose analogy for the purpose of attempting to attribute equal status to imaginings that have not been subject to the same due diligence as those that have been subject to due diligence. So just as we call regulation and legislation ‘law’, to grant them the status of natural law (judge discovered law, that prohibits the imposition of costs upon the property-in-toto of others), we call many things ‘true’ that are only loosely categorically usable for similar purposes. Whenever you make an assertion you are implicitly prefixing it with: ‘I promise that I have done due diligence against error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience, and deceit and that my testimony will as perfectly correspond to your perceptions, if you make the same observations’ (where observations is meant in the widest possible sense: experiences. We only make the explicit declaration of a premise or conclusion because the implicit is a normative habit and unstated. Why? Because this normative habit is the only possible condition under which I can make a truth claim without engaging in falsehood. Truth consists in survival. Truthfulness consists in the warranty of due diligence. Honesty in a promise only of non-deception via any possible means – from under-reporting to suggestion, to obscurantism, to pseudoscientific dependence, to constructive deceptions (alternative narratives). The tests of due diligence are: – Categorical Consistency (Identity) – Internal Consistency (logical) – External Consistency (correspondence) – Existential Consistency (existentially possible) – Moral Consistency (accordance with Natural Law of non-imposition) – Scope Consistency: (limits, parsimony, and full accounting) It is hard for humans today to understand that Mises was very close when he stated that operational construction of economic phenomenon was possible, just operational construction was in mathematics. But he did not understand Popper and Hayek’s insights that the information content of axiomatic (mathematic) systems is always finite, deterministic, and closed, and the information content of correspondent (theoretical) systems is always infinite. Meaning that while we can claim mathematical deductions are true because we are always dealing with tautologies, we cannot claim deductions in reality (theoretical systems) are more than hypothesis. Mises was close but he was wrong. Rothbard made it worse. Hoppe tried to correct it, and got us most of the way there. I’ve completed the research program by converting the insights of Jewish Pseudoscience, German Rationalism, Anglo Empiricism, into a fully scientific unified social science. In this sense I consider the anarchic program complete and that we have collectively *through our errors and corrections of each other* finally produced the social science that the thinkers of the 19th and 20th centuries failed to do. Science, philosophy, morality, economics, politics and law all can be stated using the same language of Propertarianism and tested for survival against Testimonialism (warranties of due diligence). And that we have constructed social science despite Mises, Rothbard’s, Hoppe’s errors – errors that every culture brings to the table and cannot escape bringing to the table. Finally. Even if we did it 100 years too late to save us from the Keynesian conversion of Marxism into anglo empirical pseudoscience. That said, you basically have to throw all justificationism of mises, Rothbard and Hoppe out the window, and merely thank Mises for discovery of economic operationalism, Rothbard for expanding locke’s property into a nearly complete system of objective ethics, and Hoppe for ending our dependence upon – or faith in- the possibility of the non-parasitic monopoly construction of commons. Empiricism: Given any hypothesis we construct by free association, by whatever means, and given the human tendency for error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience, and deceit, we must record our observations as some form of constant measurement (correspondence) such that we can use them to attempt to eliminate the human tendency for error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience and deceit. How we use apriorism: for creating rules of thumb inexpensively and thereby eliminating the cost of expensive testing. How we use empiricism: to collect information that exceeds our ability to perceive, and reduce it to constant measures (correspondence) so that we can both test our sense perception, and expand our sense perception, and thereby invent new hypothesis, theories, and law. So empiricism extends the perception of our imaginings and can be used to determine if they survive negative testing (criticism). How we use praxeology: In matters of the social sciences, if we cannot explain empirically observed phenomenon as the consequence of a sequence of rational actions given the knowledge at the actors’ disposal, then we know it cannot be true. Whereas if we can construct a sequence of rational actions that explain the incentives we know it may be possible. True (perfectly parsimonious causality) and possible (what we call ‘proofs’) differ in that true statements provide us with causal identity, and proof provides us with possibility if not identity. Unlike human actions, we cannot yet test the first principles of the physical universe other than by what we call determinism or the laws of thermodynamics in their various forms. This is why mathematics helps us. Because the universe is perfectly parsimonious and so is mathematics so while we may now know how to construct the universe from first principles like we do social phenomenon, we can still eliminate candidates that do not ‘balance’ (deterministically.) So there is one possible epistemological method available to man: free association, hypothesis, theory, and law. But it is not the justification of (means of arriving at) our assertions that provide the truth content – it is the ability of these assertions to survive attempts at falsification. It is not apriorism that provides truth content, but the fact that however, we arrive at such a hypothesis, that we cannot refute it. It is not the empirical measurement of events and the hypotheses we draw from these measurements of events, but the fact that the hypothesis that we draw from these measurements of events survives attempts to falsify it. And this is in fact how the human mind(brain) works: search for a pattern, then see if it survives the search for anti-patterns. The reasons ‘Austrians’ (that are not Austrians in the slightest – they’re Poles and Ukrainians and Jews from regions under Austro-Hungarian Rule, polish rule, Lithuanian rule, and Russian rule at some different points in history) are able to make their nonsense arguments is by creating straw men out of empiricism and positivism, by casting the ‘negative criticism’ of empiricism as a competitor to the ‘positive construction’ of justificationism. Yet justificationism does not provide us with truth propositions, only hypotheses, and it is our rational testing of these hypotheses that tells us they are truth candidates. And in some reductio cases, that they cannot be otherwise. And the reason that even non-stupid people are fooled by this “bullshit” ‘polish-Ukrainian-Jewish’ pseudoscience, is because while they know how moral and legal actions are justified – they do it every day and instinctually, they do not know how science is actually practiced: as a warranty of due diligence. Or how math is actually practiced: as a warranty of possibility. Neither science or mathematics makes truth claims. Science makes claims of falsification (we cannot figure out how to make this false), and Mathematics makes claims of proof: (we can prove that this statement is possible to construct by this sequence of mathematical operations.) Now we easily see where this pseudoscience came from: a long history of scriptural law that had to be taken as ‘right’ in order to preserve group cohesion (or more accurately, suppressing defections). Scripture, Law, and Morality are constructed on justificationary operations because scriptural, legal, and moral contracts are constructed on justificationary operations: “I can do this because it these rules say I can do this for these reasons”. Or the more primitive way-finding that humans use ” you make this occur by following this recipe”, “you arrive at this destination by following these directions”, or even more primitively “this sequence of actions got me fed last time, and so I will repeat it as a conservation of energy”. But truth is an expensive search process while justification is a cheap one. It is natural that we would do what we were familiar with, and what was cheap, and what preserved in-group loyalty (suppression of defection), We can say the difference between justificationism/construction and criticism/survival simply as ‘justificationism (or apriorism) is an excuse for why I say something, and survival from criticism is evidence that I cannot find anything better to say’. Mises (and his far less intellectually sophisticated yet far more prolific follower Rothbard) construct an elaborate straw man arguing against a framework that does not exist and is not practiced. They do not come from a scientific tradition but from a religio-legal tradition. Not from an empirical tradition but from a scriptural contractual tradition. not from a martial tradition where error is unforgiving and results in death but from a religio-contractual tradition where error presents opportunity for exploitation. Apriorism provides a means of generalizing and hypothesizing. Praxeology and empiricism provide means of criticizing – and through that criticism generating new hypotheses from the new knowledge gained. The fact that we may discover useful theories by common sense does not differ whether we use measurements or not. Science consists of a series of operations under which we guaranty that we have eliminated error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience, and deceit from our assertions. It provides us with a warranty of due diligence. And why is that so important? Because the only existentially possible ‘truth proposition’ is your promise that you have performed due diligence before making your testimony. All other ‘truth’ propositions are not, in fact, true, but only true by loose analogy for the purpose of attempting to attribute equal status to imaginings that have not been subject to the same due diligence as those that have been subject to due diligence. So just as we call regulation and legislation ‘law’, to grant them the status of natural law (judge discovered law, that prohibits the imposition of costs upon the property-in-toto of others), we call many things ‘true’ that are only loosely categorically usable for similar purposes. Whenever you make an assertion you are implicitly prefixing it with: ‘I promise that I have done due diligence against error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, pseudoscience, and deceit and that my testimony will as perfectly correspond to your perceptions, if you make the same observations’ (where observations is meant in the widest possible sense: experiences. We only make the explicit declaration of a premise or conclusion because the implicit is a normative habit and unstated. Why? Because this normative habit is the only possible condition under which I can make a truth claim without engaging in falsehood. Truth consists in survival. Truthfulness consists in the warranty of due diligence. Honesty in a promise only of non-deception via any possible means – from under-reporting to suggestion, to obscurantism, to pseudoscientific dependence, to constructive deceptions (alternative narratives). The tests of due diligence are: – Categorical Consistency (Identity) – Internal Consistency (logical) – External Consistency (correspondence) – Existential Consistency (existentially possible) – Moral Consistency (accordance with Natural Law of non-imposition) – Scope Consistency: (limits, parsimony, and full accounting) It is hard for humans today to understand that Mises was very close when he stated that operational construction of economic phenomenon was possible, just operational construction was in mathematics. But he did not understand Popper and Hayek’s insights that the information content of axiomatic (mathematic) systems is always finite, deterministic, and closed, and the information content of correspondent (theoretical) systems is always infinite. Meaning that while we can claim mathematical deductions are true because we are always dealing with tautologies, we cannot claim deductions in reality (theoretical systems) are more than hypothesis. Mises was close but he was wrong. Rothbard made it worse. Hoppe tried to correct it, and got us most of the way there. I’ve completed the research program by converting the insights of Jewish Pseudoscience, German Rationalism, Anglo Empiricism, into a fully scientific unified social science. In this sense I consider the anarchic program complete and that we have collectively *through our errors and corrections of each other* finally produced the social science that the thinkers of the 19th and 20th centuries failed to do. Science, philosophy, morality, economics, politics and law all can be stated using the same language of Propertarianism and tested for survival against Testimonialism (warranties of due diligence). And that we have constructed social science despite Mises, Rothbard’s, Hoppe’s errors – errors that every culture brings to the table and cannot escape bringing to the table. Finally. Even if we did it 100 years too late to save us from the Keynesian conversion of Marxism into anglo empirical pseudoscience. That said, you basically have to throw all justificationism of mises, Rothbard and Hoppe out the window, and merely thank Mises for discovery of economic operationalism, Rothbard for expanding locke’s property into a nearly complete system of objective ethics, and Hoppe for ending our dependence upon – or faith in- the possibility of the non-parasitic monopoly construction of commons. I am merely lucky enough to be born in the next generation and raised both in the absence of rationalism, with full dependence upon science, and where computer science and the concept of ‘computability’ or what in human action would refer to existential possibility. The diversity and fervency of Jewish attacks on western civilization were made possible in most part by the coincidence between the Jewish enlightenment and the industrial revolution that provided the incentive, and the development of mass media and the increase in wealth that made the underclasses desirous of taking advantage of the opportunity for genetic expression. So many things assisted the Jewish enlightenment that were not available to the anglo, french, and especially german, to anywhere near the same degree. While we are in the process of defeating Jewish pseudoscience, Once we defeat the Muslims and their militant mysticism, only then will the enlightenment be complete.

    Nassim Taleb is doing an amazing job narrowing in on the various means by which pseudoscientific frauds are conducted in the 20th and 21st centuries.

    His writing as a philosopher is another example we can use to illustrate that all of us speak in the languages of our cultures – our enlightenments – and we cannot escape them. Nassim speaks in an interesting combination of Mediterranean loading, continental framing and the empirical and mathematical, but never quite ventures into the analytic and legal. As an American, of course I do the opposite, I speak in the analytic and legal without loading or framing, and I avoid the mathematical whenever possible except to explain philosophical concepts in the clearest possible terms

    Taleb makes multiple true statements, and some that he just hasn’t quite taken far enough yet:

    ORGANIZATIONAL ANTI-FRAGILITY

    1 – Organisms and Organizations consist of various biological networks that gain greater survival potential when resources are regularly devoted to growing adaptations against multiple conditions rather than overloading(exhausting) adaptation to any individual condition. (Unlike static systems). (Efficiency is a chimera.)

    JUSTIFICATIONISM

    2 – Measurement of probability (justificationism) is pseudoscientific, whereas measurement of fragility (criticism) is scientific. And our sciences are heavily infected with measurements of probabilistic mathematical justifications that export risk onto others, and they do not consist of measurements of operational criticisms fully accounting for export of risk onto others.

    In other words, the justificationary demon is not yet purged from what we call the sciences.

    NOTE: I don’t think he makes the (obvious) point that between Hayek(anti-fragile/shocks) and Keynes(fragile/probabilities), that ‘we are all Keynesians now’ because of the failure of Poincare, mises, Brouwer, Bridgman, and Popper, and now Mandelbrot, from solving Taleb’s observation and my solution.

    OPTIONS

    3 – He correctly identifies that we operate by consistent option-seizure, and that we justify it post hoc with explanations and plans. He does not take this to the next conclusion that all epistemology works by free association (searching for matches), hypothesis (survival from wayfinding), theory(survival from personal criticism), law (survival from market for criticism). That different logical claims (apriorism, deducibility, probability, induction, and abduction are just special cases in this process – just as prime numbers are special cases of natural numbers). And that human beings evolve in moral conditions where they justified their actions. We evolved in conditions where we explained causal relations to others in ordinary language. We evolved in conditions where repetition of past successes saved us energy. So we evolved with justificationary (cheap) means of calculating, while modernity we live in a more causally dense world, consisting largely of phenomenon beyond your abilty to sense, perceive, cognate, and act, and that to understand such phenomenon beyond human scale, and beyond human limits, that we must spend the majority of our efforts eliminating error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, loading, framing, overloading, pseudorationalism, pseudoscience, and outright deceit. In other words, we must transition from our innate dependence upon justificaitionism at human scale, to criticism at beyond human scale.

    SKIN(pre/voluntary) VS WARRANTY(post/involuntary)

    Taleb’s Skin in the Game (investor-speak) and my Warranty of Due diligence (Legal Speak) are relatively identical propositions. However, my solution is institutionally sufficient (informational commons, testimonialism, universal standing) to correct this defect.

    OPERATIONAL SOLVES INDESCRIBABLE

    Nassim isn’t quite right in his criticism of the scientific, versus the intuitionistic, or what he calls the limits of language. This is simply false as I think I’ve pretty thoroughly demonstrated elsewhere. It’s just that he wasn’t able to solve the problem of expressing human acquisition, property in toto, moral intuitions, operational (scientific) language, so that the experiential is described as ‘when I do this’ rather than ‘the feeling of this’.

    He doesn’t make the connection that the limits of human perception, cognition, speech, and action, are themselves units of measure, and that cooperation (with warranty), is the only equals sign in the equation. He comes very, very, very close.

    Why? Well, he started out with programming/modeling(operations), math(measurement) and finance(gains and losses) and writes in essays, and I started out with Programming, Rule of Law, Micro Economics, and the Philosophy of Science, and as such I basically write in operational ‘proofs’ that people WISH were essays.

    SOLUTION

    So we fix the problem of pseudoscientific interpersonal frauds (unethical pseudosciences) and pseudoscientific public(commons) frauds: privatization of commons / socialization of losses (immoral pseudosciences), by the extension of the forcible warranty that we apply to goods and services, to public speech.

    And no, that is not difficult. Which is what Taleb is saying as a general ambition and I am saying as a specific solution.

    What due diligences must exist in public speech that are testable in a court before a jury of peers?

    1) Identity: Categorical Consistency

    2) Logical: Internal Consistency

    3) Empirical: External Consistency

    4) Operational: Existential Consistency (Operational Language)

    5) Moral: Moral Consistency (Productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary transfers, limited to externalities of the same criteria)

    6) Scope: Full Accounting, Limits, Parsimony.

    The first three (identity, logical, empirical) are things we already know how to test thoroughly. Our law does test moral (by natural law) but not sufficiently in scope (property in toto), and conflates natural law (natural, common, judge discovered law) with legislation and regulation, and all too often opinion.

    The fourth, Operationalism, is already practiced in the hard sciences and is slowly being adopted elsewhere. But think of it this way: if we can discover an empirical pattern, yet we cannot explain it as a series of rational human actions, then we do not know about what we speak, because we have not demonstrated that such actions by participants are both possible and moral(objectively legal). This issue remains the great failure of the twentieth-century philosophers. Because while understood in physics and math where it matters only a little, in the social and psychological domains(economics, politics, law, sociology, psychology), where humans perceive and act, it is extremely important. And what appears to have occurred in retrospect, is that the purchasing power of financial fraud throughout the world was of greater utility than the defense against the consequential fragility provided by a requirement that we protect the information quality, sovereign choice, and various forms of capital in our civilizations. (How do you price the frauds of the 20th century?)

    Where I’ve tried to add clarity is in how we can test for fraud, and prosecute it, and where Nassim has tried to add clarity is in demonstrating how fraud is conducted, and how we can reform the pseudosciences by transferring from justificationary to critical methods of measures.

    So most of that added clarity comes in Full Accounting. That is, that if we take all forms of possible capital (assets) available to man, then we must demonstrate what occurs as a consequence of any prescribed action (or fraud) both good and bad. In this way we show that most ‘sales’ are safe bets with little or no return, but big risks, and the salesman’s (politician’s) commission is taken either way.

    If I take Nassim’s tests of pseudoscience and add them to the tests of full accounting, that means we have a sufficiently complete system for the enactment of law that prohibits fraud by pseudoscientific and pseudorational means.

    And it’s a failure to fully account for consequences both good and bad that has allowed the pervasive expansion of the pseudosciences in the twentieth century, of which Nassim only touches lightly:

    Boazian Pseudoscientific Anthropology, Marxist Social Science, Socialism and Keynesian Pseudoscientific Probabilism, Cantorian Restoration of Mathematical Platonism, Freudian Pseudoscientific Psychology, and Adorno/Frankfurt Pseudoscientific Aesthetics, and the many thousands of consequences that have occurred from the use and abuse of innumeracy, rationalism, and pseudoscience to overwhelm the human ability to reason, therefore demanding we rely on intuition, which is, unfortunately, extremely fragile in those matters beyond human scale.

    MY CRITICISM IS MORE HARSH AND BROADER THAN TALEB’S

    I view the 20th century as did Hayek as the second attempt to conquer western civilization. This time, not using Oriental Mysticism and scriptural religion that has plagued the world with ignorance for over two thousand years. But using pseudoscience, pseudorationalism, innumeracy, loading, framing, and overloading made possible by governments at large scale using various forms of data collection and record keeping, and using various forms of new media which by repetition and consumer incentive, has created the second great fragility for civilization.

    THE WEST EVOLVED FASTER FOR INSTITUTIONAL REASONS BOTH INFORMAL AND FORMAL

    The reason the west evolved faster than the rest in the ancient and modern worlds, is our reliance on Sovereignty and Heroism, which as a consequence required we solve all matters of decision making not through authority but through markets and productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary exchanges, that do not provoke retaliations regardless of success or failure:

    A market for dispute resolution: natural, empirical, discovered law, independent judiciary, and jury of peers.

    A market for the production of commons: houses for each classes in which trades could be conducted for the development and provision of commons.

    A market for enfranchisement: public service in exchange for the franchise.

    A market for leadership: the judge of last resort: monarchy.

    A market for reproduction: voluntary marriage and family.

    A market for access to productivity: manorialism required married couples and a person of character.

    A demand for martial (empirical) truth (testimony) in the face of harsh punishment. (American courts still punish falsehood in court more harshly than the original crime).

    Markets calculate faster, common law adapts faster, high trust because of truth telling and strong courts encourage risk. Anglo post-hoc law (common law) adapts faster than continental propter-hoc (heavily regulated) law.

    WE ARE DONE SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF THE SOCIAL SCIENCES. THE PROBLEM NOW, IS THAT IMPOSING THE CURE TO PSEUDOSCIENCE BY TRUTHFUL SPEECH WILL BE AS GREAT AS THE ENLIGHTENMENT CONQUEST OF MYSTICISM BY EMPIRICISM.

    But I bet you didn’t realize that we were saving western civilization by doing it. And maybe the entire world from another dark age.

    THE REASON FOR WESTERN EXCEPTIONALISM: SOVEREIGNTY, TRUTH, AND MARKETS PRODUCE VELOCITY.

    1) Individual Sovereignty. (Not liberty from immoral rule, not freedom from immoral command, not positive freedom from nature’s constraints – but sovereignty. )

    2) Testimonial (performative) Truth: The Development of (unforgiving) Martial Epistemology (of the brotherhood of warriors) into a universal commons, and from that the discovery of objective Truth, and Debate, Reason, Greek ‘science’, Empirical Science, and now Testimonial Truth (‘complete science’).

    3) Cooperation at scale under sovereignty can only be achieved by the use of voluntary markets, and reciprocal insurance: a market for consumption(labor, craft, organization, decision making), a market for production(goods, services, information), a market for reproduction(marriage and family), a market for commons (territory, resources, built capital, information, norms, traditions, ‘laws’, and institutions.), a market for dispute resolution (natural, empirical, common, judge-discovered, law, decided by jury), a market for polities (different group competitive strategies accessible through voluntary association and disassociation).

    4) Just as only truth survives when we eliminate ignorance, error, bias, and deceit, prosperity survives when we first, collect in groups so that we reduce the opportunity cost of cooperation, and second when we eliminate the frictions of unpredictability in our attempts at cooperation increasing the velocity of cooperation and extending our plans and production cycles further into the future, where less change is required in the present to cause greater change in the increasingly distant future.

    5) A small, relatively poor group of people can use force of arms to create Sovereign Rule (Aristocratic Egalitarianism), as an industry and as a profession – and it is the most profitable profession yet invented by man.

    6) By incrementally suppressing all nonsovereign acts using natural, judge discovered, common law, as those nonsovereign acts are discovered (the imposition of costs), then humans are increasingly forced out of parasitism and into production, with transfer within kin groups the limit of that legal reach. Kin insure kin.

    7) The unproductive are prohibited from reproduction. The problematic are hung. The excesses are eliminated by starvation, disease, and war. Thus incrementally reducing the costly lower classes that lack both ability and will to engage in productive labors.

    8) The enlightenment seizure of power by the middle class from the aristocracy using the equalizing power of guns, in the hands of the numerous and common man, destroyed (a) the multi-house government that served as a market for commons between the classes. (b) The ‘truth’ of the four or more classes as cooperating not competing. (c) the cost of the entry into the franchise of property owners as demonstrated by service in the military(the market for property franchise) – joining the company of insurers of last resort. (d) the cost of entry into the political franchise by the ownership of real property. (the market for the political franchise by demonstrated success at productivity) (e) the cost of reproduction as demonstrated by productivity sufficient to obtain a marriage (the market for reproduction), (f) the incentive to limit rule to the minimum interference, and the universal demand for increases in the power of rule to force submission rather than resolve differences by calculation: cooperative exchange. (g) the suppression of natural law by the rubric of monopoly majoritarian rule. And the conflation of law with legislation and regulation(commands). (h+) and many more.

    The consequence of which has been our loss of sovereignty, liberty, and freedom (and soon consumption), in exchange for vastly increasing the scale of our underclasses, and increasing the transaction costs of cooperation, and spending down millennia of genetic, institutional, legal, normative, cultural, civilizational, artistic, territorial and every other form of capital that we inherited from those who had accumulated it.

    -The Six Warranties of Due Diligence against ignorance, error, bias, and deceit.

    -The inclusion of Moral Due Diligence: Productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary transfer, limited to externalities that are productive, fully informed, warrantied and voluntary.

    TRUTH

    The problem of the second Great Deceit.

    Solving it through demand truth in public speech, prosecuting as fraud just as we prosecute all other frauds.

    The problem is creating legal due diligence criteria.

    Solving it through tests of due diligence in all possible dimensions

    Testimonialism provides a list of those due diligences.

    We already know most of those due diligences.

    But we add Morality and Full Accounting to the list.

    Morality requires productive, informed, warrantied voluntary transfers limited to externalities of the same criteria.

    Full Accounting requires that we enumerate the changes in state to all forms of capital (property in toto).

    LAW

    When we discover new law we write it using strict construction from the first principle of morality (above).

    We start with the intention of the newly discovered law (scope), and we continue with definitions(declarations), and processes(functions.)

    Law must be then constructed, operationally, and it must be fully calculable – essentially a programming language of law that is just as complete as are computable formulae.

    This creates a non-interpretable, but expandable, fully testable, legal system, open to continuous improvement and correction.

    To ensure the enforcement of this system, and to ensure constant correction of it, as it applies to the informational commons, this commons must be open to defense under universal standing.

    The same criteria applies to all contracts, including those involuntary contracts we call legislation and regulation.

    Meaning that any and all citizens can compete with legislators and regulators, and the judiciary to force truthful and moral operation of that industry that we call government, that produces that product and services we call ‘commons’. Or stated in the legal vernacular: the people must always possess juridical defense against law, legislation, regulation, and contract -without exception.

    MARKET FOR COMMONS

    The other significant advice that I’ve given consists in the methods of restoring the use of government as a market for commons between the classes by various means, all of which eliminate the monopoly production of commons under that worst of all possible tyrannies: democracy.

    ALL THE REST IS EXPLANATION

    Everything else I have written is to EDUCATE by explanation the causes of the principle of universal sovereignty and the market society that is the only solution to persistence of sovereignty, and why the west in both the modern and ancient worlds, was able to innovate so much faster than the rest, despite being a small, poor population on the edge of the bronze age.

    THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO UNDERSTAND

    But one does not need (as I do) to understand the entirety of why this solution is sufficient to restore the west to its strategy of sovereignty and by consequence markets for consumption, production, reproduction(family), commons(govt), population(countries), and leadership (monarchies). Nor does one need (as I do) to understand the entire history of why this is all so. One needs only understand that the solution is to evolve our law to match the increases in the industrialization of information distribution, so that any informational product of any kind enters the market for information regulated just as we regulate any other product or service: that it must be truthful.

    AND IT ISNT COMPLICATED

    Now, I do not have the faintest idea why any of that is hard to grasp.

    Nor do I understand why testimonialism is hard to grasp:

    1 – Identity: Categorical Consistency. I don’t see why we aren’t great at this already. (sensibility)

    2 – Logic: Internal Consistency – although when I say this I mean that logical consistency does not refer to ‘meaning’ but to existentially possible statements. There is nothing new here that isn’t largely in eprime and performative truth. (reason)

    3 – Empirical: External Consistency (Correspondence). I don’t have to teach the world about empiricism for goodness sakes. (reality)

    4 – Operational: Existential Consistency. This takes a bit of practice but again, it is easily solved by writing in eprime in first person voice, as a sequence of operations and observations. This is already done in the physical sciences. (human action)

    5 – Moral: Voluntary Consistency. All transfers consist exclusively of productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary transfer, limited to externalities of the same criteria. The only novelty here is in full-accounting of property in toto. (cooperation)

    6 – Scope: Scope consistency. Consisting of (a) limits, (b) parsimony, and (c) full accounting. Where the only novelty here is a full accounting of property in toto. (scope)

    SURVIVAL VS UNDERSTANDING SEEMS COUNTER INTUITIVE

    What is counter-intuitive, that most people seem to have trouble grasping, is the difference between the false comforting certainty of justificationism, and the true but uncomfortable uncertainty of survival from criticism. We are taught to prove things. to get the right answer. But the universe does not work like that. Anything that is not false might be true. Law works by the same means: if there are criteria by which a thing is illegal (false) than that which survives those criteria is legal (true).

    TESTIMONIALISM MERELY INCREMENTALLY EXTENDS THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD OF PROVIDING A WARRANTY OF DUE DILIGENCE AGAINST IGNORANCE, ERROR, BIAS, AND DECEIT

    So testimonialism extends the scientific method into social science, law, and politics. As long as you have done your due diligence as a producer of a good, a service, or information, then you have broken no natural law. If you produce a good, a service, or information, and have not done due diligence, and done no harm, then you have broken no natural law. But if you produce a good, a service, or information and someone claims harm, then you are liable for damages. And the problem you face, is that damages done by disinformation are extraordinarily hard to repair, compared to those done by goods and much harder to repair than those done by services.

    Testimonialism is reducible to the requirement that we test all dimensions that humans can possibly sense, perceive, and act against.

    WE ARE, OURSELVES, AN INSTRUMENT OF MEASUREMENT

    Why does that matter? Because with any testimony we are trying to create a description that through a process of reconstruction, the audience envisions that which you claim to have envisioned. So our bodies, senses, minds function as units of measure. Therefore reducing the world to descriptions that are subjectively testable by a jury is a test of your descriptions. We humans are the unit of measure because we are marginally indifferent – at least in groups – in what we can sense, perceive, understand, and sympathize with.

    Imagine you are looking at a scene, and describing it. And you are talking to someone who sees 100 scenes (or an infinite number for that matter), and he is trying to identify which one you’re describing, but you can’t hear him. He can only hear you.

    If he can correctly choose the one you’re describing your testimony is ‘truthful’.

    THE NECESSARY PART OF MY WORK IS ‘DONE’

    So I don’t believe that I have more work to do in explaining the central insights provided by my work. I may have much more EDUCATION to do. And I can create more educational content. But the central thesis of sovereignty > markets > truth > informational commons > strict construction > universal standing > market government with houses for each of the classes does not seem to be very hard to understand.

    YOU NEED TO USE YOUR VIOLENCE

    If you want to know the answer – I just gave it to you. You just need to withdraw from the state the deposit of your violence, and use that violence in every way possible to disrupt economy and infrastructure and rule until your demand for truth is met.

    Or that’s the amount of energy I have to put into this tonight. You don’t need to understand more than that in order to understand how to restore western civilization from the second great utopian deceit: cosmopolitanism: Boaz, Marx, Freud, Cantor, Adorno and the many others of their ilk.

  • Coming To The Rescue And Correcting The Libertine Narrative (Fraud) Of History.

This suppression of local parasitism which impedes cooperation, and the imposition of law which leaves productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary exchange as the only possible means of survival, can be positioned optimistically as ‘civilizing man’, charitably as ‘domesticating man’, and uncharitably as the martial elite profiting from human husbandry. The net result of domestication is that those regions most successful at human human husbandry, domestication, or civilization – however you choose to cast it – produced the highest trust, highest economic velocity, highest innovation, and the FASTEST evolution of the standard of living in both the ancient and modern worlds. At extremely high cost to those populations who produced that rate of evolutionary innovation. High trust was a very expensive institution to develop using the incremental expansion of the common law for the purpose of preventing retaliation spirals. (feuds). Libertine Libertarians, practicing the non-aggression against material property (intersubjectively verifiable property) expressly prohibit mandatory payment for commons despite making use of markets (free riding) that these commons construct; Furthermore libertine libertarians expressly preserve the rights of blackmail (non productive), fraud (not fully informed), irresponsibility (non-warranty), usury (entrapment), as and even enslavement if it’s voluntarily agreed to, because libertine libertarians claim they are not responsible for the consequences (externalities, and unintended consequences) of their actions. For example, ancient world pagans and new world scientists, using the Non-Parasitism and Non-Retaliation rules of landed warriors innovated at a rate commensurate with the spread of literacy, and their universal ethic of earned -enfranchisement through defense of the commons. Jews by contrast contributed nothing to mankind’s commons in two thousand years, despite their near universal literacy – in no small part because of their voluntarism rather than non retaliationism, their dual ethics, and their specialization in crafts of privatization of commons and socialization of losses. Especially after the Templars, and the west’s first international banking system were destroyed by the Church in order to escape the Pope and his brothers’ debt. Why does a group that pays heavily for a commons 2 – HARMONY VS CONFLICT (THE DECEIT: FRAMING OF HARMONY AND CONFLICT INSTEAD OF UNIVERSALISM VS FAMILISM AND TRIBALISM) It is better if we COOPERATE PRODUCTIVELY than if we engage in conflict that destroys capital and opportunity. It is not better if some of us cooperate productively and contribute to the commons, and some of us pretend to cooperate on one hand and privatize the commons or free ride upon that commons on the other. The purpose of rothbardian libertarianism is to justify parasitism on commons. The purpose of the harmony vs conflict deception is to use suggestion of equal participation in reproductive, productive, and common goods while acting unequally in the participation of reproductive, productive, and common goods. (almost all libertine libertarianism is an attempt to justify parasitic actions of the unequal, while making the moral claim that one is equal in contribution to the civic order we call political government, normative society, and commercial market. Libertine libertarianism is merely another fraud like marxism for the same purpose: theft. This kind of analysis is how westerners must change our high trust framework, so that we are far more analytic, and far more skeptical, about moral pretenses, which are anything but moral – they are appeals to our morality so that we can be defrauded from. ALL GROUPS COMPETE GENETICALLY AND ALL DEMONSTRATE KIN SELECTION. And the less domesticated peoples are always a threat to the more domesticated peoples. PERIOD. 3 – THE DESIGNED VS SELF ORGANIZING DECEPTION Is a false dichotomy. The designed, vs the discover and institutional, vs the normative and adaptive The most successful groups produces three categories of institutions are those we constantly seek to improve: Law(prohibiting), Production(trading), Religion(teaching). That we cannot design law, religion, and production is patently false. We can Limit parasitism, we can advocate cooperation and knowledge, and we can engage in PRODUCTIVE exchange. If we are to say, can we design institutions much more precise than this? Well we certainly have: weights and measures, property rights, legal processes, reason and science rather than mysticism, false moralism, and predatory deceit. We can even industrialize institutions like banking, rule of law, and education. But how precise can we be with them? Well, we cannot design what we should or must do, but we can design what we should not or must not do. That is how we incrementally domesticated mankind into productivity. (We should ask libertine libertarians why they think blackmail – which is voluntary but retaliatory – is moral.) So regarding institutions of cooperation we cannot always say Should and must except preventatively, we can say could and can, and we can say should not and must not. so again, self organization deception is an attempt to preserve the ability to engage in parasitism while under the pretense of moral equality. Again. Libertine libertarians are just parasites. 4 – THE DECEPTION OF FREE MOVEMENT AND FREE TRADE What the classical liberals discovered is that all other things being equal, protectionism in the caste of commodities caused more harm than free trade in commodities caused harm. They did not say all free trade is a good, and no group demonstrates unregulated free trade as a good. In fact the major struggle world wide remains, at every level, the problem of preventing asymmetries in negotiating power that cause externalities and indirect consequences – or in case of economic warfare – substantial externalities and indirect consequences. So it is true that we cannot use protection to extract prices increases through regulation, while at the same time we CAN use protection to prevent costs by externality and indirect consequences. And that is precisely what humans around the world do. We must understand that Rothbardian libertine libertarianism advocates parasitic existence imposing costs upon others, and is profoundly immoral in theory and practice. Wherever possible the libertine seeks to benefit from the high cost of a high trust market while externalizing all the costs that he can from his participation in the market. In other words, a rothbardian libertine libertarian advocates for fraud. 5 – THE OPPRESSION FALLACY REVISITED: EMANCIPATION AND PROGRESS What occurred as a consequence of high trust english common law, was that bacon applied the rigor of that law to the sciences and invented empiricism. Upon the invention of the printing press, a thousand year dark age where the church held men in illiterate, was ended, and knowledge spread across the civilized world, leading first to the agrarian and then to the industrial revolution. Now that the industrial revolution was possible, we could afford to educate and employ more people – albeit slowly – until the petrochemical revolution, which provided us the energy equivalent of endless slave labor that we did not need to clothe and feed. So we could attempt to provide opportunity to many members of most classes who had sufficient character to participate in organized employment. Unfortunately, these people were met with a new ideology of socialism that stated that they had been and were oppressed and that they could rule themselves under the same kind of order that they had in their villages. These people used democracy to vote their reproductive strategy of parasitism on the productive classes. Unfortunately women were enfranchised and within a generation began to vote their reproductive strategy and within fifty years had voted to destroy not only rule of law, not only contract, not only the family, but the civilization itself. The ‘alt-right’ constitutes activists fort he New Right just as the green an anarcist and communists function for the progressive movement, and the evangelicals function for the old right. At the top of these orders are intellectuals like any other movement. Our intellectual base has been forming for a decade or more. And what terrifies the old right, the neo-con right, the libertine-libertarians, and the socialists is, that the alt right is BETTER because at ridicule and propaganda than they are for the simple reason that empirical evidence is on their side. moreover they know that conservatives cannot speak the truth: that their strategy is eugenic. Moreover they know that they have empirical evidence now that the Neocon, lIbertine libertarian, and socialist visions are both constructed as deceptions by appealing to a process of suggestion, and that all of them have been repudiated by cognitive, economic, and behavioral sciences. WE ARE THE NEW RIGHT. The alt right are fighting the pseudoscientists and liars among the sjw’s feminists, socialists, libertines, neoconservatives and the failed program of deception of the traditional conservatives. And instead of arguing optimistically, our defense against deception by suggestion is to prosecute any and all moral claims for possibility of fraud before we even begin to assume that a moral claim is what it pretends to be. The rest of us are inventing the next generation of social science, and the next generation of institutions, the next generation of law – for when we force the abandonment of monopoly majoritarian democracy – not by ideological whining – but by the organized application of violence in demand for the restitution of our natural rights.   • Conflation and Deconflation in Argument

    (important concept in demarcation between science and non-science) I want to try to put my objection – if we can call it an objection – into a more articulate form, and see if I can convince you, or at least see if I am capable of communicating this idea with any degree of clarity. 1 – CONFLATION TO COMMUNICATE VS DECONFLATION TO INNOVATE I”m not necessarily objecting to the conflation of experience, action, observation, and existence, because otherwise we could not produce literature and art, the purpose of which is loading and framing in order to attribute value through shared experience, to ideas. But I want to point out the consequences of conflationary( monopoly ) and deconflationary (competing) models by which civilizations produce and use knowledge. 2 – DECONFLATION AND COMPETITION VS CONFLATION AND AUTHORITARIANISM In the western tradition, we maintained separate disciplines for Law, Religion, and ….welll… “Theory”, or what we call ‘science”. Or Religion: what we should do, Theory, how we do it, and Law, what we must not do. In the west , our civic disciplines are divided into the common law; contractual politics that are limited by that common law; Our celebrations and festivals and art function as our ‘church’ experience (bonding), and our mythology as our literature (aspirations). Our science and technology and commerce function as their own discipline inspired by religion and limited by law. Our succes at discovering truth proper (scientific truth) is due to our evolution of empirical contractual law, independent of the state, independent of religion, We divided the related properties of existence, and thereby deconflated them just as all human thought consists of a process of deconflation (increasing information), free association (pattern recognition), and hypothesis (ideation). 3 – COMPARISONS Other civilizations that did NOT start with sovereign contractualism did not do this, and they retained conflation, in order to retain authoritarianism. (fertile crescent, east Asia). Monotheism, uniting law, religion, and even a pretense of existence into a literature, created the most conflationary totalitarianism yet developed. Law, politics, religion, and science deconflated those same concepts and left them not only open to further investigation and evolution, but prevented the deception that arose from the conflation of manipulation of the physical world(cafts and science), dispute resolution(law), cooperative action(trade), common aspiration(religion), and education. The result in every civilization and in every era is that conflation led to stagnation. and deconflation led to innovation. (We can go through every civilization. Fukuyama does it for us actually.) 4 – WE ALL SEEK TO ESCAPE THE COST OF DUE DILIGENCE All of us seek opportunities and aspirational information provides us with opportunities. We all want something for nothing, and we feel intellectual opportunities are the most valuable ‘freebie’ we can obtain. Moreover, we can read books and decide ourselves, rather than enter into production of goods and services, production of commons, production of arts, or production of offspring – all of which require cooperation with those who differ in knowledge, opinion and desire from us. Which is why many of us seek to use philosophy, like religion, like science, as an authoritarian method of decidability rather than a voluntary exchange of promises, contracts, goods, services, commons, and liabilities. All of us seek to avoid limits upon us, and so we seek to separate the limits of cost, and the limits of morality,the limits of cooperation, and the limits of law, and by doing so the limits of reality. Philosophy notoriously throughout history differs from Law and science, by ignoring costs (effort, resources, time, and money), which is why it’s failed to retain independence from religion in the modern academy. 5 – THE ENLIGHTENMENTS AND THEIR OPPOSITIONS The anglo enlightenment, beginning with Bacon’s creation of empiricism by applying the methods of the common law, to the methods of scientific investigation, was terribly disruptive to the non-contractual peoples, even though it was natural to the anglo-saxons (north sea peoples) who had been operating a contractual government since at least the 700’s if not earlier. The English revolution was painful but was eventually settled by contract – as is traditional in anglo saxon civilization, and remains today in the USA. The french enlightenment was written as a literature of moral persuasion, in order to protect itself from empiricism and contractualism. And its revolution destroyed french civilization, created state currency financed total war, and force the uniting of german princedoms in response. That this effort was merely an attack on the land holders in both private (noble) and church hands is obvious to us. That this ended french contribution to western civilization is less so. That it has been the sponsor for marxism and Islamism are less obvious. France fell from the stage and without interference from other nations would be german colony today. The german enlightenment used not empiricism, and not moral literature, but rationalist literature (kant) in order to protect its social order from empiricism and contractualism that threatened the hierarchy that constitutes german ‘duty’. Kant replaced germanic Christianity not with science but with rationalist literature. He spawned the continental philosophical movement retaining conflation which has tried every bit of verbal trickery to retain conflation while proposing alternate methods of INTERPRETING and VALUING what we experience, but not better methods of ACTING upon the universe we exist within. in other words, the germans remain desperate to restore religion. Unfortunately, the germans were cut short in their maturity by the entrapment between the bolshevik/soviets who wanted to obtain eastern Europe, and conquer Europe, to defeat deconflationary empirical contractualism – and the anglos who wanted to maintain the balance of power. And the germans who had spread what remains of Hanseatic civilization across central and eastern Europe with members of her own nation, and wished to defend them. The Jewish enlightenment expanded on the french and german by creating the great authoritarian pseudosciences: boazian anthropology (ant-Darwinian), fruedian psychology (anti-Nietzche restorationism), and Marxist socialist (anti contractualism), and even Cantorian mathematical platonism (anti-materialism), frankfurt-school criticism (anti aristocratic ethics), and combined it not just with press, but with new mass media, and new consumers with disposable income from the consumer capitalist industrial revolution. Out of the Jewish enlightenment, we get the horrors of the Bolsheviks, the soviets, the maoists, and world communism. 100M dead. And at present, we are about to lose Europe for the second time in two thousand years to another wave of ignorance. Without bolshevism and communism we would very likely never had the world wars, and would still retain the best system of government ever evolved by man: Juridical monarchy, a market for commons by houses representing classes, a market for goods and services, and a market for reproduction, all under the rule of law. 6 – THE COST OF CONFLATION AND DECEPTION What has been the cost of each of these failed enlightenments? What has been the cost of the Jewish alone? What of napoleon? The British was a trivial tribal dispute between the (failed) corporate-republicans and the (successful) national-monarchists. What if the British enlightenment hadn’t been cut short by the conflicts (counter enlightenments) of the French, German, Jewish and Russians? What if the greeks had finished their invention of the industrial revolution? What if Justinian hadn’t closed the stoic and greek schools, and forcibly indoctrinated Europeans into mysticism instead of literacy and reason? What if the RESTORATION OF DECONFLATION imposed on the west by the first great deception of authoritarian monotheism had not been necessary? Most of the great lies in history are created by conflation, and all our great achievements in dragging mankind out of ignorance and poverty have been achieved through information provided by deconfliction and competition. SO while as a human I can empathize with the desire to assist in COMMUNICATION through conflation – thereby allowing us to impose values upon ideas, during education, and allowing us to experience life through the words of other minds. That is very different from the act of conflation in philosophy which appears in large part, whether literary philosophy, moral philosophy, or religious philosophy, to be nothing more than the use of subterfuge (the use of suggestion under the influence of suspension of disbelief), to cause either submission or agitation by artful deceit. So just as we must have communication and education (conflation) we must have analysis and prosecution(deconflation). Without both tools, (literature for education, law for deconflation) we cannot protect ourselves from the greatest crimes in history. Because outside of the great plagues, philosophers and prophets are responsible for more death and destruction, ignorance and poverty, susceptibility to starvation and disease than any general ever dreamed of being. So contrary to giving philosophers a license to special pleading, my position is that the evidence is in, and that unless words are backed by warranty that they do no harm, the are no different from any other product of man. And that while no producer of goods, services, and ideas, wishes to be accountable and to warranty his materials, actions, and words, that we must constrain those people such that no intellectual products, like no services, and like no material goods can enter the market for knowledge any more so than goods and services can enter the market for consumption. My assessment of history is that the jurists and scientist do all the work, and the prophets and the philosophers take all the credit, and us it like today’s marketers and advertisers for personal gain despite the drastic consequences of their deceptions. So I tend to damn philosophy or literature that is objectively criminal, regardless of the intentions of the producers and distributors of it. 7 – WHY CAN WE NOT WARRANTY OUR SPEECH? I have no idea why, in an era of mass manufacture and distribution of information that we do not require the same increase in due diligence against harm, that we have incrementally added to the production of goods and services. If we can police polite speech (political correctness) against shame by the true, then why can we not police philosophical speech against damage by the false and immoral? We cannot ever know what is good or true until we test them. We can, however, know that is bad and false. If it is bad and false we can either regulate(prior constraint) in the continental model, or enforce involuntary warranty(post facto restitution) in the American model. My opinion is that regulation creates corruption and restitution creates quality. So as to your preference for conflationary philosophy, I would say that as long as you would warranty that your conflation does not harm, then it seem you have nothing to worry about. But if your use of conflation does harm, then you do. And if we had the same defense against deception that we have gainst every other kind of fraud, that there would be very few philosophers – and the few we had, would be of much higher calibre rather than simply those who write the rationalist equivalent of science fiction and fantasy, under the pretense of possibility, thus inspiring people to the social equivalent of yelling fire in the theatre. 8 – CLOSING There is only one moral law of nature: do no harm. Everything that does not harm, is by definition good. One thing may be better good than another. But that is a matter of preference and taste, not of truth, No free rides. No special pleading.
