  • I Thought You Were A Pagan?

—“I thought you were Pagan all this time.”—Don Sharp

[I] am a pagan. An aryan (ancient gods), a heathen(old gods) – our natural religion, a christian (most recent gods), an Epicurean, a Stoic, a Jeffersonian, and an Aristotelian (scientist). I am just not an Abrahamist. Jesus is a philosopher. I take him as such. My gods are my ancestors. All religion consists of debt recognition. They are the only gods I owe a debt to – and the only gods with evidence of excellence worthy of my indebtedness.

  • if you take the woo woo out of the catholic encyclopedia – or heck, most of chur

if you take the woo woo out of the catholic encyclopedia – or heck, most of church doctrine – and convert it to simple natural law prose, it’s almost always excellent.

But this says the catholic church sanctions our actions. And I like that a LOT.

  • Sovereignty (Natural Law) vs Submission (Theology)

—“…The concept of “obeying the commandments gives ultimate freedom” was the biggest oxymoron to me for most of my life. I have my merits, it should be good enough… Maybe this is just my inner /r, I have found a level of peace as I accepted my place in the machinery of life.”—Anne Summers

[I]t gives people an easy way of avoiding conflict over status and position so that they can work in harmony by simple rules. We just use sovereignty in western civ (scientific and legal) and take accountability for our actions, and supernaturalists use an excuse NOT to take accountability for their actions. In other words, sovereignty for the strong, and submission for the weak.

  • The Law of God if There Is One Is ‘Win’.

THE LAW OF GOD IF THERE IS ONE IS ‘WIN’. [I]f there is a god, his only law was entropy (dissipation) The only law of biochemistry is accumulation of information to defeat entropy (memory) The only law of life is accumulation of information to defeat of entropy and reproduce (reproduction) The only law of organisms is accumulation of information to defeat entropy and compete with other organisms (evolution) The only law of sentient organisms is accumulating enough information to defeat entropy and other organisms by cooperation (reciprocity). The only law of conscious organisms is accumulating enough information to defeat entropy, organisms, and their production, by calculation (instrumentation). The only law of calculating organisms is accumulation of enough information to defeat evolution (eugenics) The only law of eugenic organisms is accumulation of enough information to defeat entropy and transcend into gods. Defeat of entropy but accumulating information until transcendence into gods.
