The right always fails because all frames it produces are not heroic and visionary, but are prosecutorial and divisive. This is the normal human response to stress – to rally. The thing is, the ‘enemy’ is less frightening than the right, and so they win not by virtue but bait.

In the sense that fascism worked (ethnocentric mixed economy with strong state bias and financing) as a reaction to market liberalism on one and and non-market communism on the other).
