I think it’s because so many people know it’s my adopted home, and because I’m an advocate for both Russia and Ukraine … and am hostile to the ‘woke west’ invading the east. My criticisms are over the method not ambitions. Putin needed to learn from Bibi: Sell the US people.

That’s not true. It’s the cover story. Russia needs black sea and baltic ports, agrarian territory, and to increase her population from 140M by 43M Ukraine and 10M Belarus, so that she can compete economically and sufficiently to pay for the eleven time zones of infrastructure.

Russia has sufficient currency reserves to survive economic warfare against her if Russia chooses to conquer more of Ukraine.
Russia undermined Ukraine by ‘buying’ their president, who gutted the military. When that failed, they invaded the east.
I’m pro Russia AND Ukraine.

The degree to which the false promise of democracy, need for numbers, and ‘want of others to take responsibility’, has infected the right, creating a sense of privilege, morality, and virtue that no longer exists by demonstrated behavior, is as severe as the degree to which the left has absorbed the false promise of oppression and the need for authoritarian socialism.
We are either men who demonstrate ownership of our polity or we are not.
We are either men that are stupid f___ks that take the enemey’s bait for optics and feelz (like women) or we are men that ignore the slings and arrows of insult and press forward the line.
Even a lot of military men seem to be administrators and servants rather than warriors. Or fundamentalists that can’t separate myth from reality enough to take responsibility for the state.
