Installed is nonsense. He had the backing of at least one of the major oligarchs – plenty of which we have as corporations instead of individuals in the states. The oligarchs are afraid of european rule of law. But more afraid of putin’s rule of the fist.

No. You do not give an aggressor with little green men a victory. you negotiate separation like we were ALREADY in the process of doing. Before putin invaded, ukraine was discussing how to separate. But russia ruined it.

At some point, rather quickly, if he tries a puppet government, and to replace democracy in ukraine, that occupation will be russia’s graveyard.
My suggestion was to promise UA people to take out the oligarchs in exchange for the east, gas discounts, and security concessions.
