He made the world vastly unsafer by continuing trumps’s policies but trading the stick for empty words emboldening the world’s authoritarians instead of gradually forcing the rest of the world that is invested in the rules based order to share the burden until the three remaining authoritarian empires take their last grasp in over the coming decades. Meanwhile importing so many third worlds laborers that it suppresses wages and dilutes human capital ensuring we cannot compete even if the authoritarians fail. Bide is worse for America and the west than Obama – and that was a low bet to begin with.
