Faculties continue to slowly return. For all intents and purposes, I lost almost a year. It’s not that, thanks to Brad and the other Fellows at the Institute, I haven’t made progress this year: the simplification has been extraordinary. But it’s been a hard slog.

Finally finalized my name change today. Now maybe I can get a new driver’s license. And passport. And birth certificate. And everything else. All to validate the X million legal documents I’ve signed over 50yrs with “Curt”(my nickname) instead of Burton(my real name).

Life’s minor insights: My massive 4-bath, 4-bedroom, 3-floor, log home on acreage required a housekeeper, maint, and 3hrs of yard work /wk. My 1BR apartments in Seattle, Lviv, and CT required I spend an hour once in a while. My 5 Star hotel room required nothing. Less is MORE. 🙂
