    OK, so aside from possessing an inspirational wit and talent with words, Eli Harman is a very good looking, giant of a man. Gotta get a photographer to do some pro headshots of this guy, and start converting his little bits of genius into Memes. You’re marketable. The market wants your product. Brand building big guy. 🙂 Love you man.

    —In the west, we have high-trust societies. Trust is a form of credit. To extend trust is to extend credit. Either can be abused. In either case, there is risk. No credit is bad credit. If you wish to live in a high-trust society then it is reasonable to ask whether you have established your trustworthiness and how. If you have not, it would be reasonable to insist that you post a bond. If your word is your bond, great. But if (for whatever reason) your word is not enough, then you’d better front cash.—

    —I can’t imagine a surer recipe for misery then going through life expecting it to be fair.—

    I am off in territory again where no one is following me, and I’m not doing a very good job of helping them either.

    I realize that part of my technique is not to put out the central theory, but just its components. And the reason is so that I can explore the components, rather than try to defend the central theory as if I’m selling a new kind of automobile.

    But I think I am at the point where without that central theory or suite of theories, that nothing makes any sense to anybody.

    I am after all, talking about property and law, and the various means of free riding / imposing costs. And using work from the philosophy of science to do it.

    And while under the physical sciences we do not yet know any first principle,and therefore no truth tests are possible, in law we do know the first principle, and that is the imposition of costs on others: the violation of property.

    So while in science the unknowns are at least theoretically permanent, in law they are not.

    Which is why we have a different problem to deal with.

    Its one thing to know, another to complain, something else to understand, something yet again to solve, and most importantly to act.

    Most people stop at complaining. Right now I’m just annoyed. Venting newly acquired frustration.

    We are worried about islam? We have already been converted to a new, false religion. We are already dead.

    We dont need a rebellion or a reformation.

    We need a RESTORATION.

    The people who speak the truth.
