    It is entirely rational for insurers to demand warranty of all products, services, and information, in the marketplace that they insure.

    One cannot himself warranty actions for which he cannot pay restitution.

    This is the limit of moral action – that which you can pay restitution for.

    one cannot pay the cost of restitution for ‘defective’ lives.

    And if you study the literature, you’ll quickly understand that very small portions of society cost very large portions of our problems.

We can take from this the true nature of the popular habit of airing one’s opinion to peers: infantilism by gossip. Now, OTOH, if a group of persons is exploring a matter then contributions are transmitted and received by the same discretion (reciprocity). But these transmissions do not reach the level of published theory, or declared truth-claim. They’re exploratory. Many errors must be presented in the process of singling out the least erroneous, for the one most truthful. This discretion cannot be granted to a party declaring a truth-claim.     @curtdoolittle I could be off base on this, but are your referring specifically to various forms of Jewish mysticism and Jews themselves? (medieval Kabbalah, Neo-Hassidism, etc..).

    Or the influence of Abrahamic traditions (starting with Jews) in general?
