EUROPEANS ARE MORE EVOLVED THAN AFRICANS AND SOUTH EURASIANS AND DIFFERENTLY EVOLVED FROM EAST ASIANS

The question of body size, brain size, energy, neoteny, and aggression that permits *distributed computation*.

OUR BRAINS ARE SHRINKING

Neanderthals had bigger brains than us. But not bigger than early homo sapiens. They were expanding until about 10 years ago, and have gone down by 150ccm. So we’ve decreased by two standard deviations. Our skulls are thinner, and less robust. The ratio of length to width has changed as well. (cranial index). Bigger-broader, smaller-longer). Our heads are getting smaller.

Something like 30 animals have been domesticated, and in the process, every one of them has lost brain volume — typically a 10 to 15 percent reduction compared with their wild progenitors. Domesticated animals have more gracile builds, smaller teeth, flatter faces, a more striking range of coloration and hair types — and, in many breeds, floppy ears, and curly tails. Except for those last two traits, the domesticated breeds sound a lot like us.

What’s caused this shrinkage is selection against aggression. (and I suggest energy availability). There have been many brain-related DNA mutations seen over the past 20 millennia.

The more individuals, the bigger the gene pool, and the greater the chance for an unusual advantageous mutation to happen. Even Darwin knew this. That’s why he recommended that animal breeders maintain large herds. You don’t have to wait so long for desirable traits to arise.

Europeans are not as neotenically evolved as east Asians. Instead, Europeans developed middle neoteny, primarily through female selection, by selecting for light skin, light hair, gracile form – but not small body form. (although that changed in the south of Europe which did get smaller). So Europeans advertise greater neoteny without necessarily achieving east Asian levels of neotenic expression in morphology.

Conversely, Europeans are far more neotenically evolved than Africans, more so than south Asians, and less than their East Asian equivalents the Han-Korean-Japanese.

So yes, that’s actually the reason why we are incompatible:

1 – Blacks, and South Asians are less evolved.
2 – East Asians are more evolved, but paid a higher physical cost.
3 – The open question is if we are in fact dumber than cro magnon or just less aggressive.
4 – Or whether (as I would predict) we have sacrificed neural velocity under stress and the high energy consumption of large neural cells for lower energy consumption, smaller neural cells, and different brain chemistry.
5 – Or whether we have traded individual intellectual capacity in small groups for distributed intellectual capacity in larger groups – which I hope isn’t the case.

I don’t know the answer. I do know that the revolutions that came before seem to have required greater innovation than we are capable of now.

So we should expect an increasing attack by the pseudoscientific cult of the left on neotenic evolution because it is the obvious genetic cause of human differences. And because it explains the differences in rates of gestation, maturation, and reproduction of the races, and it explains the difference in intelligence between the races, and different cultures of the races, and the different social and political demands of the races so that they can ‘mature together at the same rate’.

Instead, we have the highest trust people in the world (Europeans) trying to host African, part African, and part Amerindian peoples which means our standard of crime and theirs are incompatible, because our standard of behavior, our standard of truthfulness, our standard of norm, tradition, law, and commons is impossible for all but a tiny fraction of them.

This does not mean that a 120+ IQ / high conscientiousness member of a given race, that shows neotenic development (which we can easily observe in facial features and form, speech pattern, and behavior) can’t equally adapt to a european civilization. It means that only a tiny percentage of non-Europeans can do so.

So yes ethnocentrism is necessary for ethnic Europeans – at least those of us who desire it – because devolution is the norm in post agrarian civilization.
