If you took 100m movies of edges surfaces objects and backgrounds and laid them over one another that’s not too different from how your brain produces experience. It calculates the relative location of everything you see hear and feel and uses that to organize every fragment.

That doesn’t make sense. What underlying ‘self’? What you mean is an observer. But the ‘observer’ of the self ‘consiousness’ is an artifiact of hierarchical memory (moment by moment memory of memories).

You have legs. Legs exist. you can only bring running into existence while using them.

You have a brain. Brains exist. You can only bring consciousness into existence while using it.

Noun vs Verb.
