(correct). I’m addressing the people who double down and triple down on theology or philosophy(almost exclusively men) or ideology (increasingly women) to obtain self image, or ego fulfillment using systems of ‘measurement’ beyond the ability of those systems to measure.

That said the problem of ‘fixing’ increases rapidly with the size of the underlcass. If you tell african americans that 2/3 of their population really shouldn’t reproduce if they want parity in the states then that’s a lot of personal constraint on behalf of one’s race.
