For use in daily life I prefer MBTI(with 100s of questions to limit category ‘floating’) for the simple reason that reasonably intelligent folk can learn sixteen archetypes. I was taught a much larger set of 50 or so. And Facets allow us to describe individuals – not archetypes.

OCEAN-Traits-Facets provides the most complete (highest explanatory power) of any of the extant models. WIth minor corrections, Haidt’s moral foundations is also ~accurate. As are the four personality trait clusters. And the three biochemical causes. and the Brain organization.

See image I posted mapping MBTI to OCEAN. Note that MBTI lacks neuroticism(negative) and OCEAN lacks Empathizing-Systematizing at the trait level. But OCEAN testing of Facets exposes the differences as male systematizing vs female empathizing. The Facet level is the best we have.
