FWIW, it’s absolutely true that conservatives interpret progressives as ‘disgusting’ because they do in fact provoke the conservative disgust-purity-loyalty responses. (Interesting that they don’t articulate it.) Progressives interpret Masculine disgust(Rt) as Feminine fear(Lt).

BTW: FWIW: blindsight occurs in people who have developed visual disambiguation, but experienced damage to the primary visual cortex. But that doesn’t mean no visual information enters the neocortex. And the interaction between retina, OC, LGN, LGB and PVC is highly complex.

That’s incorrect. The corpus callosum connects the hemispheres. It was necessary for organizing movement in bilateralization. The brain conducts a continuous competition for attention (thalamus), and male-predator/female-prey biased brains differ in what competes for attention.
