    Man is wired (evolved) to know what is in his interests, what will cause retaliation, and what will purchase options on future cooperation, and that he must punish cheaters(defectors).

    It’s just in our interests, increasingly, to act morally, because of the returns on moral cooperation, but if you look at history and if you look at the total absence outside of western civilizatino of high trust other than perhaps japane (which sacrifices truth for it), then the answer is just the opposite.

    If I accomplish anything I hope to eradictate is christian/rousseauian/feminine fantasy that man is wired for morality.

    Man evolved to be eminently practical: the act predatorially, parasiticlaly, reciproccally, and to invest, as opportunity presents itself.

    We are just an extension of the laws of physics, and our only difference is the ability to use memory to keep accounting of whether we’re gaining or losing over time in an environment of possible cooperation.

    The logistical issue is that while men should always work on themselves and actualize, they are competing for women who consider 80% of men to be below average. This high bar to female attraction incentivizes both a male strategy of actualization AND the lowering of standards. The problem on the horizon is that VR Sexbots will be amazing and therefore will reduce the incentive to lower standards overmuch. A real 10 is superior to a virtual 10, but is a real 6 superior to a virtual 10? Not to me, and not to most men, I suspect. And if not, there is no incentive to opt for the real 6, nor incentive to do the significant amount of self-work necessary to attract a real 10. No incentive except children, that is, except Artificial Wombs (and designer genes!) are also on the horizon.

    Gen Y is the bridge generation.

    That’s me, Zuckerberg, Phelps, Gadot and such.

    We’re the ones who grew up with the oil wars, waco, and school shootings, the birth of the internet, the launch of ISS, and the berlin wall.

    Did you have a Nintendo? Gameboy? Tomagotchi? Pikachu? Playstation?

    Was the movie “american psycho” your career ambition? Were you called a loser? Did you wear skinny jeans? Punk Music? Did you see the first matrix, jurassic park, and titanic in the theate? Did you read harry potter and game of thrones when they came out and try to bring that world about?

    The problem is that demographers use the rates of population and sociologists use the experiences and motivations. My generatoin has none of the identity politics of millennials, just the opposite.

    We were raised with the highest expectations and promises, only to emerge into our teens to see the catastrophe of 9/11/2001, the consequences of the Feminist movement, the crime, the drugs, the decay, the unemployment, the obama administration and we sought opportunity in the internet revolution to work our asses off and make it big’

    WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME. Hence the name.
