AFAIK beauty standards are universal if exposed to universal sets of information long enough. Every contrary finding I’ve seen is due to local norms evolved in ignorance. Advertising is blamed for framing. False tho. Symmetry, Neoteny, Running (Litheness), Ratios, Eyes, Hair.

A US artist managed to make the unwilling Berlin Egyptian Museum come out with 3D scans of Queen Nefertiti. I am always stunned how the 3,364-year-old Bust matches current beauty standards. There are even beauty clinics named after her. She would love it.
