Man has resisted it at every single opportunity. the closest movement – that of the chinese – was a reaction to it. The original development of religion as we understand it was in reaction to it (indo-iranian vs european divide) That vast system of fraud we call the abrahamic religions was invented to counter it. Rousseau-Kant and the counter-enlightenment that continues today on the continent was invented to counter it. Marxism-Postmodernism-Feminism were invented to counter it.
