SCIENTIFIC EPISTEMOLOGY
This is the universal epistemic process for all human knowledge.
1. Experience, auto association, free association > Idea
2. Contemplation, falsification > hypothesis
3. Testing, falsification > Proposed Theory
4. Market application falsification > Working Theory
5. Exhaustive market falsification > Surviving Theory
SCIENTIFIC CLAIMS
A Fact, A Theory, and Falsification of It
1. One can claim a scientific warranty of a measure(fact) or of a narrative(theory).
2. A theory consists of two components: a transformation(operation) and a description(search).
3. And a theory requires surviving exhaustive measurements – not inference, b/c Induction is false.
EXAMPLE
I avoid the covid subject because I don’t trust any data I can find. I only have any confidence in the delta in total deaths. As far as I can tell everything else is attention-seeking hype for political, academic, commercial, or selfish ends, and any semblance of ‘science’ nil.

I have the world’s BEST literacy in the identification of unwarrantable claims. Rarely are these claims about findings. Almost always they are about inferences from inadequate findings.
FWIW: I have far more knowledge than you do on almost every subject. (I hate chemistry tho)

(I’m responding to the audience that keeps asking me for opinions I don’t feel able to answer. You’re also confusing findings (papers) and preposterous claims from fractional data. So if you’re not following the conversation, understanding the topic, shut up until you do. ) 😉

I cant help people who pretend knowledge and make sweeping statements imitating prophets. sorry. this is what baseless faith trains you to do, and why you lie whenever you make such statements.

To quote any data set one must understand (a) the constitution of what’s in it, (b) what is NOT in it (c) what is the baseline you’re comparing it against and (d) are they meaningfully comparable.
The excess deaths in 2020 data ~matches up with COVID death claims in 2020. https://twitter.com/jmhorp/status/1345054015265132550

INTENTIONS DON’T MATTER. DUE DILIGENCE DOES.
You can intend to lie, you can transmit a lie, you can originate or transmit ignorance, error, bias, and deceit that impedes truth, and you can incentivize harm by originating or transmitting ignorance, error, bias, or deceit.

(analogies communicate they do not make arguments unless what is communicated from the example to the context identifies causality and consequence in the context. Otherwise it’s fictitious understanding by conflation, misleading, and often deception despite the speaker’s intent.)
