If truth is dangerous then that means it’s important regardless of how unpleasant it is.

Now, why is it? Because some of us understand how physical processes work, science works, constraint based reasoning, how people follow incentives, and mostly .. how they lie. And worse, how the left’s demand for attention drives their behavior both individually and collectively. https://twitter.com/curtdoolittle/status/1586535381314347009

So, this confirms the utility of ‘stating it all up front’ in a single summary. (And set of posters). But that hierarchy of first principles can be stated as names, as definitions, or as definitions with properties and definitions. And so even the ‘short version’ isn’t short. https://twitter.com/curtdoolittle/status/1586362522797473792

OK. So I see what’s so hard for student of The Method: it’s that they collect examples until they understand a principle. And they collect principles in their area(s) of interest. But only a few can perform the full hierarchy of constructive logic. So multi-dimensions are hard.

While magical thinking is central to leftist ideology, the use of loading, framing, obscuring, conflation, inflation, fictionalism, denial, of language (a system of weights and measures) is the means of lying that is necessary to preserve and advance magical thinking.

So yes it falls under the fictionalisms, which are systems of magical thinking.

Technically I should state The First Principle as:
“Exhaustive, Continuous, Recursive, Disambiguation, until satisfying the demand for unambiguity by constructing an identity.”
For some reason, I skip “exhaustive” b/c I assume it’s redundant given the criteria for identity

When you begin your journey, you think philosophers are deep. At the end of your journey you understand each had just one idea, and most were bad. And the result is that philosophers have been almost as damaging as theologians. But thanks are due scientists, engineers, jurists.

What’s the reason? That logic/illogic and good/bad are subjective tests, intuited first, and explained second. So given that we intuit different (opposite) priorities as good/true, bad/false then our intuitions differ. They justify (prefer, consume), we falsify (survive, produce). https://twitter.com/curtdoolittle/status/1585305942022705157

Well, this is Twitter. I can’t write 4k words like I could on Facebook. So that means I can’t be as precise as I could on facebook. On the other hand, twitter has forced me into using shorter less complex sentences, and that’s probably a good thing despite the density of my work.
