@realDonaldTrump Trump is ending the postwar false consensus in domestic politics, as Putin ended it in international relations.

@curtdoolittle I’ve generally agreed with these last few tweets — but this one seems kind of nuts.

  • More Awareness of IQ’s Effect On Institutions-

[A]dam, Thanks for giving this book and this concept airtime. Le Griffe has been talking about this issue for years. I have been stating it in relation to Pareto’s work on the distribution of property necessary to organise voluntary production. And the usual suspects in IQ research have been concerned about it for decades now. In my work – high trust societies – its almost impossible to form one if the distribution is either too low or too wide. Politics in particular suffers since at every two standard deviations people rely on almost entirely different frames. Lastly ( I have been giving talks in this lately ) the west may be the fastest developing because of our oath and our discovery of truth. But in addition westerners relied upon manorialism, prohibition on cousin marriage, delayed child birth, and hanging of .5-1% of the population for more than a thousand years. So our success has just as much to do with our aggressive genetic pacification as it does to our institutions of truth, oath, jury, property, and common law.

  • Q&A: Did You Ever Think That Lying Makes Life Beautiful?

—“Curt Doolittle , did you ever think about the fact that truth is boring and lying (telling stories) makes the life beautiful? You have to be talented in order to lie, not everybody can do it well… BuI bet that many people have not the time and patience to read your arguments…”—Grete Tartler Tabarasi

[I] think many things. Among them, that I agree that lying is a talent. I also agree that murder, violence, theft, fraud, fraud by omission, free riding, privatization of the commons conspiracy, conversion, invasion and conquest require great skill. And that theft by such methods is rewarding and enjoyable – and certainly preferable to engaging in production, holding to contract and promise, and speaking the truth and the whole truth. So some of us must do the yeoman’s labor of capturing, chaining, imprisoning and hanging those who murder, steal, lie, and cheat.

    RUSSIAN AND AMERICAN METHODS COMPATIBLE

Did you know that people with high fat content, and who are heavy drinkers, under the right conditions, can be used to create the wick effect we see in spontaneous human combustion – and that they’ll burn slowly for many many hours?

However, the wicking effect can be created intentionally by splitting the skin, exposing the fat, inserting wicking material, and lighting it with a smoldering source of flame such as coal, charcoal, rope, cloth, or cigarette.

Just sayin’ that in the sequence of:

    a) guillotining (by knife, sword, axe, or guillotine

    b) hanging (short-drop strangling and long-drop neck breaking forms)

    c) impaling (in both abdominal and anal forms)

    d) crucifixion (in its many forms)

    e) burning at the stake (in its many forms)

    we can add:

    f) ‘wicking’, which I assume must be a pretty horrible way to go, since burning slowly alive and watching it has got to be pretty horrible.

The guillotine is more of an ‘industrial’ solution requiring very little effort and expense, while still providing civic entertainment for the many.

Long drop hanging of 8-10 feet is pretty rewarding and less messy.

I have this feeling americans would be more Organized about housecleaning, and the Russians would be more enthusiastic and, well, entertaining.
