And there was some stuff back there that got us in trouble as well, plus my views kept evolving as I learnt more so I decided to take all my previous content off the channel and just start fresh if I ever find myself in a position or want to do it again.

Good to hear you are still learning. I am always learning new things. Only way to be. Gotta stay skeptical and yet open minded, otherwise we end up with dogma and stagnation like most of humanity.

I think I know what Curt Doolittle means, but I really wish he would stop using the term “moral intuitions” because moral intuitionism is an untenable position in meta ethics. In fact the next article on my site which I am preparing to post very soon, is a thorough refutation of Moral intuitionism (which is a form of moral realism). But I don’t think Curt is employing that term the way we philosophers of meta ethics do. So, I try not to nitpick. But if I were you Curt, I’d use the term “moral sentiments” instead of intuitions, because there is no such thing as “moral knowledge”, just different degrees in attitudes and emotions about certain behaviors. When one uses the term moral intuition it summons to mind un scientific moral woo about “non natural moral properties” etc.

My advice, if I may be so bold, is to study people’s philosophies thoroughly, take what you find to be valid and true, and leave the rest, before you know it, you’ve gathered enough truth to form your own coherent world view. Anyone who has read my book, will know that is precisely what I’ve done with Power-Nihilism. Some Nietzsche, with a dash of Hume, and a whole lot of Hughes, mixed with a few other profound notables.
