What you are stating is the “True Scotsman Fallacy”.
I can write the teachings of christianity in a few bullet points. I have. I can also explain why the psychological for religion exists, how different worlds have produced different rituals, myths and theologies to satisfy it.

@dglaffere @JohnMarkSays No I get the impression from the evidence that there are so many sects and so many interpretations, and so many justifications, that the claims of each group to ‘we are right’ is rather ridiculous – and demonstrates that anything open to that much interpretation is just sophism.
