It happens the moment rome finds more value in upper class income from the east than middle and working class security in the west. it gets worse when the carolingians try to use Christianity and literacy to take over Europe, the way the french used rights and napoleon to do it.

A houses is a box. It’s the details (decoration) that differentiates them. The old and inexpensive method of decoration was Lintels, Shutters, Glass, and most of all, at least in europe, carved wood. (IMO victiorian houses were the height of wood architecture.)

I could spend the same amount of time with the same messaging, that I do on the west, on Indian, Iranian, Egyptian, and African peoples – ‘The Constrained’ peoples. It would just mean four times as much work. But the message is the same. Our ancestral institutions have failed.

Yes, well in the west we have a very ‘odd’ culture because we were all ‘related’, and almost all of us in the military at least part-time, and craftsmen travelled for work often, so our women ran the home and farm while we were away, and it was too dangerous to ‘cheat’.
