“Because the possibility of effectively supervising government varies inversely with government’s size, so does government’s lawfulness.” – George Will

    http://scienceblog.com/56182/sea-life-facing-major-extinction-shock/THE PERILS OF PROLETARIAN OVERBREEDING

Are you sure that women have a natural right to reproduce? Why?

And why should we subsidize proletarian inbreeding and overbreeding?

There is no environmental problem. There is an overbreeding problem.

Not only is overbreeding dysgenic, but it’s environmentally catastrophic.

    DOC SAYS NO CRUNCHES

    But otherwise weights are ok.

Am still at 168. But have lost muscle mass. mostly thighs and arms. Like to hover at 172 I think with about ten more lbs muscle.

CONSERVATIVES WANT AN END TO TRANSFERS?

Conservatives want to engage in exchange rather than transfer.

But what is it that they desire in exchange?

They desire aderence to virtues. Adherence to virtues is a cost for impulsive.

The virtues compensate for the unfairness of biological differences.

They drive down the cost of such subsidy and charity.

But no. Instead the less able are due redistribution, obtained by force, due to the nature of their existence, rather than due to their actions.

Societies will not bind on theft. All societies bind on exchange.

http://www.meetup.com/Seminar-On-Political-Philosophy-Using-Libertarian-Reasoning/COME TO A SEMINAR ON LIBERTARIAN REASONING: “THE PROPERTARIANS”.

This fall, to help me flesh out my work, I’m running a seminar on political philosophy using the libertarian “Propertarian” reasoning of Rothbard and Hoppe combined with the moral research of Jonathan Haidt. In the first week, without any promotion, we have collected about a dozen interested people. I’d like to get about twenty regular participants, with an average of about 15 showing up at each meeting. And I’d like to run the seminar in multiple cities if there is sufficient interest.

If you know anyone who is interested send them to Meetup.com via the link below. Click on the [Read More About Us] button on the left.

    -Cheers 🙂

    A RETURN TO WRITING SOON?

This nasty bit of illness has just killed my desire and ability to write for the past few months. So I’ve resorted to entertaining myself with warm and fuzzy personal stuff. But, now that it’s mostly behind me, this morning, I went through just the short term work I have to do for the book I wanted to finish this year and was a little overwhelmed by what remains. But its ever onward anyway. 🙂

ARE THERE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ORDINARY PEOPLE TO FORCE INVOLUNTARY TRANSFERS?

QUESTION: “True or false: there are cases in modern society – not referring to CEOs or the like – where some peoples’ voluntary decision(s) to pursue their own (non-violent) interests inadvertently harm other people in tangible ways. If yes, examples?” – Ashtad Bin Sayyif

ANSWER: “There are many such opportunities. They fall into informal (moral and ethical) and formal ( property and opportunity) categories whereby one causes an involuntary transfer from others to one’s self. Society is constructed of these formal and informal rules. All of which prevent us from using asymmetry of information to cause involuntary transfers. From the most common retail clerk, to the most sophisticated legal document, from the most common of marital abuses, to the most formal partnership and citizenship agreements. Almost no human action is devoid of opportunity to cause involuntary transfers. It’s pervasive. We have the vast edifice of laws, morals, ethics and manners to attempt to prohibit them.” – Curt Doolittle
