I would have a hard time choosing who to vote for. I wouldn’t trust either Tymoshenko or Poroshenko, but at this point it’s a safer bet to change to Tymoshenko, given how much of a failure Poroshenko’s been at rule of law. Tymoshenko with the Right might be able to do a better job on corruption. (And hell, when I heard her speak in Maidan it sure worked for me.)
The Oprah Candidate (The Comedian):
—“The 41-year-old, who is best known for playing the lead in the political comedy, Servant of the People, has about 25 percent of the voters’ support – well ahead of Poroshenko (almost 17 percent) and Tymoshenko (more than 18 percent). According to the non-governmental polling organisation Rating Group, the majority of Zelensky’s supporters are young people between 18 to 25 years old and live mostly in the Russian-speaking parts of Ukraine, the southern and eastern regions.”—
Thea means the ukrainian vote is split, and the russian vote is not. That’s what it means. As far as I can tell.
